Best place for a long walk/running. Close to Wesley community they have a race track open for public which is even awesome. Couple of big grounds for playing different sport, play area for children. They also have war memorial statue and Community Hall.

A great place to exercise, unwind, smell the fresh air and appreciate the beauty of nature. The park has many amenities like the Lovelock Track, the City Central Baseball field, playgrounds, exercise hubs, bridges to take instagrammable photos, and a foot walk for, of course, walking and jogging.

This place is awesome, I may be a little biased as I spent a lot of my youth here but even back then it was just a community centre and a single basketball hoop. Now there's multiple basketball hoops, athletics track, a walk along the stream, a awesome playground with plenty of variety for the kids - slides, monkeybars, fort etc. What a wonderful place for the community.

Enjoy my regular walks in this park with my friend. My only concern is that some days, we have experienced unleash dogs roaming the park. I am worried about the ducks and small children in the playground.

Lovely relaxing and clean place to visit. Great place to walk your dogs and see exciting attractions like botanical gardens, historic landmarks and events... and if you like enjoy the what the Auckland museum has to offer. Car parking is ample and is also quite an easy way to access Auckland hospital. Many walks to choose from and has cafes and bars on offer. Public toilets are easily accessible and the Dominion park is also considered in my opinion a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. 5 star rating. From Quinton Joyce

The new Te Auaunga shared path shows off the amazing work on the restoration and naturalisation of Te Auaunga/ Oakley Creek and this shared path links directly to the Waterview and Southwestern shared paths at the Te Whitinga Bridge. The Hinaki / Eel Trap Bridge (pictured) in the shape of a Māori double headed eel trap is a particularly cool feature of the park.

Spacious and quiet park. Not many people comes here. Different set up compared to other parks. Good for families with children. Also have space for softball if that’s what you prefer. Highly recommended

👍👍 Such an incredible park that is not spoken about enough. It’s massive and there’s boards along the way to tell you where you are. Dogs off leashes are kept in the centre. Incredible views and park is well maintained.
