So great to see the Warbirds fly - the Harvard's were especially good this year! Great venue, Ardmore.

Another place I didn't know existed. A tour inclusion, and it was amazing. The guides knew their stuff and loved the planes. I could have spent longer than an hour here. I would love to come back on a flying day. Such history, so lovingly preserved.

Had the pleasure to fly in the P51D with the experienced display pilot Graham Bethall today. A fantastic experience including some aerobatics, flying through the Hunuas, and a very informative commentary. All the while showing off the capabilities of this legendary aircraft. The whole time, including in the discussions prior to the day, I was taken care of. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

Worth visiting. Great insite into world War. Great display of planes and models. Must so with kids. All warbirds are functional and get in air from time to time. Interested in a bitbof thrill book a flight with one of them. Not cheap though

This place is amazing. The knowledge of the two gentlemen taking us around was astonishing. It is even more impressive that most of the aircraft still fly. Thank you so much for an amazing day!

An amazing group of planes. All in immaculate condition. One of us went for a flight in a Yak. Another plane - Mustang went flying while we were there. Someone else went for a flight as a birthday gift. Most of them were two seaters. Even had a plane from WW2.

I was gifted an acrobatics flight in a 1943 Harvard! Highlight of my year! Can't wait for the GoPro footage! Amazing experience, great flight, John and Colin were awesome, I'm officially a "Giggler" cause I got the giggles every time we got through the apex of a roll over. Slept like a baby that night.

Great sets of planes from first and second war. Most of them still able to fly. Amazing place to visit, family with kids friendly.

Wonderful guides, particularly at the main entrance display. Articulate and knowledgeable. Beautifully maintained throughout. Old planes visible, as they took off at regular intervals. Lunch available at Café. Altogether, well worth a visit. My only suggestion is perhaps a few more seats available for older groups.

As a warbird enthusiast, I spent three hours roaming the exhibits - and it was very cool to get up close to the aircraft, and even see half a dozen Harvards take to the air.

What an amazing day. Blew me away. Shame about the long queue to get to the parking but who'd have thought all of auckland would be there?

If you are into old military aircraft including ones from both world wars then worth the visit. Most areas are wheel chair friendly with the exception of the upstairs converted model display area and part museum. Staff and volunteer guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable. The airport was pretty lively on the weekend we went. Private helicopters and planes taking off quite often.

Great collection! Special shout out to Dave, knowledgeable, kind and great banter. We took our one year old who had a great time looking at the planes and watching a few take off.

Had an amazing fashion show that night. Pacific Fusion. It was such a wonderful experience to see a lot of compassionate designers, artists, make-up and hair artists, and beautiful confident models. The Warbirds Association is such a beautiful and amazing place to host a fashion show. It still brings out that inspiration into the eyes of art and history. Recommend it 💯

Wow Wow WOW!!! I did a flight in the P40 Kittyhawk today with Frank Parker at the controls. Yes, its not a cheap way to spend 30 min BUT the adrenaline and rush is incomparable and i THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND you to save up and give this a go if you want a thrill. This plane is vintage.... was built in the 40s I believe and has an incredible history with the RAAF and service in PNG in combat flight. Now it’s homed in NZ and flown by Liz Needham and Frank Parker for enthusiasts who want to experience something very very special. Prior to the flight the ground crew showed me around the plane and when it was time to fly the two ground crew expertly assisted me into the aircraft, strapped me in, set up a headset and ensured I was ready to go. The volunteer ground crew at NZ Warbirds are just awesome! Today Frank and Liz flew in formation - us in the P40, Liz in the Spitfire - and we headed out over Beachlands and Maraetai then simulated a bombing run off small island in the gulf. After that it was towards Miranda where Frank executed some aileron wing overs, a barrel roll and a full loop - of gosh the G Forces!!!!. Then we headed off to Hunua Ranges and "bombed" the Hunua Dam before linking up with the Spitfire to fly back to Ardmore in formation. What a day!! Thank you Frank and Liz. Your passion is well and truly shared now! It's the P51 for me next!!!
