My first time there. A beautiful park for a walk, a jog, or simply to chill out. Now I'm interested to know the story of the old low walls there too. I may often stop there now on my way to work to walk my dog. It was safe away from the road and he could run freely without disturbing other people. Awesome!

Barry Curtis park is the perfect place for fitness. Anyone can go for walks, jogs, runs or even biking, skateboarding and much more. The wide pathways make it easier for people to run by and not bump into each other. Even if you are in a wheel chair, you can still experience the joy of Barry Curtis Park

I went here today with my friends at around 10pm I think. The place is really nice. It was my first time walking around this area. It is really well lit and seems safe to walk around at night. But the lights automatically switch off at around 11pm, so if you are afraid of the dark bring a flashlight. But overall, it is a really nice area to hang with your friends and maybe it is much better in the morning.

A safe place to exercise that has something for everyone. Playgrounds, benches, dance platforms, skating, basketball, rugby fields, ponds, public loos. I didn't see water taps though? If people go out for a run we can't run with water bottles so water stations would be neat.

Great big park. The park is fairly young so there aren't any massive trees like Mountford Park in Manurewa to shelter you from the sun. But good amount of car park spaces and like seeing these flightless? birds that run across the road to forage.

Expansive park with immaculately groomed fields. Great for the dog, the kids, Nana- hell; even the cat if their into a bit of a walk. Paves areas for rolling things. Paths for running or strolling of course. Plenty of lighting. Heaps of carparking and a public toilet that's wheelchair accessible too. With shops across the road to provide fish and chips or snacks for a picnic this is a grand style park for single or whole family adventures.

Nice place to walk πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ exercise safe open space if you don't like cold in early October go live Australia still cold NZ it's a big park thank goodness the greedy property developers haven't got their hands on this park and desecrated nature by putting high density dwellings like a glorified slum to house the thousands of immigrants who come here because NZers to lazy to work

This park, spacious and perfect for strolls, used to be a favorite spot of mine. However, I've had some uneasy moments due to a few dog owners letting their large dogs off-leash without restraint. The park's expansive size means it's never too crowded, which is a plus. Nonetheless, since it's not an old park, there's a lack of mature trees, making it a bit challenging to walk during hot summer afternoons. With time and more trees, it has the potential to become an excellent park. Looking forward to its growth!

Great. Gathered for mixed church sports day. 5/5 be careful for the toilets. There was a Asian perv trying to look upon my 16year old daughter. When she went to get help and tell a grown up. He was already gone. Clean grounds. And we also walked around after the day and picked up any rubbish that we may have left this behind.

If you want to go for a walk here it is a good place but it isnt great in my opinion. Me and my husband mistaked th bike trail as somewhere to walk through as there are sharp thorn bushes so be aware of that. The carparks great&convenient across from set of shops. Not great but it is okay.

This park is huge, great skatepark for the kids next to a basketball court - if you have a low car avoid the skatepark carpark. This park is divided into two very large sections, so be sure to check which area you need. There is a unfenced playground and picnic areas for the family. Lots of pathways for exercise and riding for little ones. Note some areas are pathed with chip stone not concrete.

Taking the kids for a run and have have a walk around, beautiful view and so as their walking track, enjoying a long walk, you can also have your own space to do your work outs as a family or alone.

This park was designed for design awards, not for people, especially the elderly who would like a little stroll under trees, away from traffic and a peaceful and easy path to walk on. No trees, no small walks, no seating, on paths that aren't concreted, tarsealed nor planked. Stony, muddy, wet puddles to walk around on the wet grass, so by the time you finally get the poor person back to the car they are tired, grumpy and have wet, muddy shoes. We walked one path that looked like it went through the park, only to find it stopped at the first obstacle (steep bank). If you're fit and like a good, fast walk alongside traffic, then this park is for you.

Great park for walking or bike riding. It's such a big park with so many things to do. There is basketball courts, skate park, walking/biking trails, and a playground. There may be other things but I haven't walked the whole park yet.

Very wide open space, run/bike/dog your heart out, with a circuit based pathway system with differing landscaping and views. Includes an adventurous playground, with some towers for kids to climb and lookout. Especially great to stretch some legs for the lockdown exercise escapes. Enjoy more on sunny/warm days.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This place has beautiful views of Auckland city and Hauraki Gulf. It's one of the best place to go for picnic with family or friends.
