Beautiful gardens. Worth visiting. Not suitable for large or heavy wheelchairs as some paths are too narrow and soft.

Beautiful oasis in Auckland. Adrian was really lovely and informative about the gardens. There are even some sheep.

Fantastic urban farm with great produce to bargain about if you visit on open days (weds and says if I remember correctly) with delicious seasonal fruits and veggies to buy on site.

Messy but pleasant. Not much for sale. Good for a wander.

Kelmarna Gardens is a miracle in Auckland. Consider what it's about, how long it's been here, and what the rest of the city is about, and a tear may come to your eye. OMG. Visit. Volunteer. Exhale.

Lovely tour of this garden dedicated to growing organically. The kind Sean was brave enough to guide a group of pre-schoolers and their parents with the help of a bag of magnifying glasses. Children were as engaged as you could expect a group of 2 -4 year olds to be. I want to go back on an adult tour! They sell produce too.

This is such a beautiful community initiative. You will find some incredible minds and hard working bodies coming together in the name of real societal progress, environmental and nutritional preservation and community enhancement. There is only positive influence and spirit in a place like Kelmarna. Highly recommend heading to their wee shop to support this movement or donate/sponsor if you can.
