The place was almost full when we came. Seated in a breeze as we had a reservation. Ordered their Aug special, wine & mains came first before our oyster appitizer. The beef cheek was so tender & fish had the crispy side. Late came our bread entree, needing no dessert as we were full to the brim. Would love to go back, hopefully there will be no service mishaps.

Got the beef cheeks, trufle fries and crispy calamari, and half a dozen of bluff oysters. would have been 5 stars but the beef cheeks was cold. Otherwise the oysters were the highlight... overall we paid $180 including 15% surcharge for Queens bday. Good quality food, relaxing vibe. Highly recommend

The Ocean's Catch pizza is hands down my favourite meal from their menu! Order it if you haven't tried it yet and make sure they give you slices of lemon (they didn't when I was there last). Kumara fries are also delish - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Good service and really great location especially in the summer when the wind is welcome as you're sat at one of their outdoor tables. I'll always go back here for the Ocean's Catch pizza and I pray it'll never be removed from the menu. So...I went back for this recently with my bestie and I have to say my usual pizza was not as impressive. The base was soggy and the ingredients were quite sparse i.e. not enough "Catch" so wasn't as happy as I usually am. It needs a slightly fluffier base to withstand the oil from the salmon. The salmon is the best part of the pizza - well all of it is but there just wasn't enough on this visit. Kumara fries were decent as usual so good to see some consistency maintained.

Great place for group, great selection of drinks and food. My favorite was the chocolate tart, I've had it everytime I came here. The service was awesome as the staff were very polite and friendly, and heater lamp, hot water bottle and blanket were provided when it gets cold in the evening 😀

The service was great, the margharita pizza was big and delicious. Thanks to bartender Joe for her incredible cocktails!

I usually don’t give restaurant service 5 stars because the staff are never tested but I can say for sure the service we received was amazing. We asked the employees for a lot of help getting utensils and extra items for a birthday party and one employee even gave us a bag from his own belongings to hold the takeaway.

Staff were amazing and food came very quickly. We ordered Pizza, they are huge. It was nice. Truffle fries, shoestring chips went cold too quickly so were a bit hard. Oysters were good. Prawn and Fish bite dish was most disappointing. 3 small prawns, more like Shrimps and the fish was definitely not fresh, too fishy for me to eat. Pavlova was the highlight and I would definitely go back for dessert.

Every time - first class experience with first class food and drinks. The service is exceptional, great vibe (busiest on the waterfront strip by far) with a personal touch from the owner who I clocked went around every table / group to ensure all was well & gave them some banter. The pizzas are massive and a must ... fave being the NV. We will be back soon. Thanks

Best pizza and beef cheek we've ever had in Auckland other options in the menu look delicious, had a few nice cocktails which were pretty inventive and delicious.Place is located at the waterfront next to the TeamNZ HQ, quite a nice view and outdoor area. Service was great, definitely recommended.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable meal.

Without a doubt, one of if not the best spot to park up on the waterfront in Auckland. Honest, genuine and caring service with a menu for anyone's appetite. Anyone of their famous pizzas is a must. Keep up the great work team and don't you dare get rid of Tony Bish Chardonnay!!!

great place to grab a drink and or food and people watch on a sunny day outside on one of the tables, or cozy up inside on a cooler day. Staff always go out of their way, and are friendly and welcoming. Food is on point! love everything I have tired on the menu! As it cools in the evenings always offered a blanket or hot water bottle which is perfect to enjoy the sun setting!

The food was good, but we all got our food at different times, and one item was forgotten. The waitress was fairly new and had to get advice on some of the menu and was hard to hear due to the noise. It was very noisy as there was a big group in the area we were seated.

Not a review person, but specifically because of the lovely french front of house I have to leave this review. Haven’t come across such a level of service in Auckland, accommodating friendly and just the right amount of chatty. Ordered the Korean chicken burger which was probably the best burger I’ve had in New Zealand, the gochujang sauce was delicious.

Lovely place to have dinner! The food is amazing, the staff is very international, incredibly nice and comforting. I had a pizza which I would recommend to anyone. The bartenders were happy to help my with my choice of beer. 10/10 would recommend to come here. Shout outs all staff!!

Our first time dining at The Conservatory and we were very impressed! The food was exquisite, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our waitress went out of her way to make us comfortable outside when it was really cold with blankets and hot water bottles, and we ordered 6 dishes and they were all amazing. There was a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, and the overall experience was really enjoyable! We had such a nice night and will definitely be back!

The cocktails and drinks were amazing. The wait staff were very efficient, friendly and provided excellent service. Would have been a five star, but was a bit disappointed with the fish of the day. It was a really small portion and lacked flavour

We had a great experience at The Conservatory. My husband has some unusual dietary sensitivities and they were able to modify some dishes at short notice so he could enjoy dining out which is normally difficult for him. Our meals were delicious and the server was very accommodating going back and forth to the kitchen with our questions about ingredients (we felt bad taking up so much of her time and hope it was a quiet enough night that this wasn't too much of a problem). We were able to thank the chef in person at the end of our meal and really enjoyed chatting with him. Everyone was just lovely and we will definitely dine there again next time we are in Auckland.

I ordered the pork belly, a longer than expected wait was made up by the quality of the presented food. Melt in the mouth slow cooked pork topped with thin crip crackling. Served with caramelised onion, pickled courgette, buttery mash, served with red wine jus, and topped with sliced kumera chips. Accompanied by a glass of Sawmill Hazy - overall, a very satisfying meal, thank you.

Fries did not have any truffle, only too much parmesan. Scallops were about 1cm in diameter and tasted foul. Pizza was meh. Sat next to the servers organizing cutlery but was not offered any. I don't understand why this place was full.

Wait staff were all very accomodating and friendly , our large group of 28 were very well taken care off, food, especially the pizzas were amazing! It’s so good that my team dive right into it before I had the chance to take photos! Would definitely return

Quite simply THE Best restaurant I have ever been too. I visited The Conservatory last night and found myself back there again tonight. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. My meals were delish. But the real game changer is just how much attention the staff pay to each customer. I felt like I was looked after like a queen!! I will be back next time I am in Auckland!

Great place, good view 👀 food and drinks here. One difficulty I have had with the place is when I picked up my angus burger to take a gorgeous bite, there was approximately 1L of meat juice that dropped onto my plate of fries. Thus making me not able to eat the fries. See photo for more details (I didn’t take a photo of all the drip)

Fantastic food, excellent service and great location The fact that my partner was given a blanket and hot water bottle when she got a bit chilly says everything about the level of service

we always come here. Food and cocktails never disappoint, great place and good atmosphere. Today in particular they took 1 hour to bring my food. the waitress apologized for it and we could understand it because the place was fully booked. It would be good as when this happens, they inform the customer if there is delay in the kitchen before taking a seat. Anyway, excellent place!
