Fish burger l had was pretty good & chips were nicely seasoned. Not really into fish burgers but this was definitely 10 times better than a fillet-o-fish from maccas. Staff were great, shop was a little busy but they managed to get food out promptly.

Not good enough!! I found big bones in the fried fish (a few). Chips were not seasoned at all. Worst part was the callimari, it was not edible, they were so over cooked that all of the crumbs had come off and were tough as tires, so we ended up throwing them away :( Also, we ordered a lot of food for takeaway, so we asked for a bag, as we shopped in the mall and were already carrying a few shopping bags but the lady serving us refused to give us one so we had to cautiously and awkwardly carry it in the mall without dropping anything. Me and my family love LJ’s but this branch is just a complete waste of money, do yourself a favour and avoid the manukau one!!

Fish and chips was tasty but the sauce was in such a tiny box ..which was not even adequate for one chip. Cost cutting is all good but it was as tiny as it could be .. was really disappointed to eat fish and chips with lemon than white sauce...

Always get the meal with the prawns, fish, chips and salad (forgot what it’s called) haven’t had LJ’s in a while, so this meal was great! Was skeptical about the reviews, but honestly I think it depends who’s there on the day. Both meals I’ve had here the past 2 months have been nothing but amazing.

So disappointed. I ubered prawns and mussel with fries and chips and 2 large tartare sauce. What I got was 3 mussel shells no mussel and 3 mussels shells with mussels. Container of rice. No chips and no prawns. Also ordered snapper burger and fries. Got burger but wasn't a snapper burger. Was hoki fish which I hate. Once again no fries. Never will be ubering LJs again. This is there third stuff I had encountered

I have been a regular customer for last 5 years and more...but wen I went today to buy my lunch 2 pcs Hoki n chips combo...the price had changed and the quantity is almost half of wat I use to get before..they also gave me wrong change which I have to ask again...

Cold chips stale fish terrible service would not recommend this LJ’s. The one at manukau super centre is way better

Good food, ordered uber eats so cant comment on the service. Burgers were tasty, fries were average nothing extraordinary.

Had takeout, fish was undercooked, I didn't have more than 2 bites. Fries were good. Hoping that the quality and taste will improve. Wouldn't recommend this place for now at least.

Its ok, but if you want fresh raw fish dont get it here reason being is that the one i purchased was cooked. Burgers were very tasty however i didnt enjoy the coleslaw. Portions could be more generous. Quite pricey as well for what i purchased when you could easily get $20 fish and chips elsewhere for a larger amount of food

Gurnard was good, but I wish they'd ask before putting lemon pepper on everything. At the very least, it should be mentioned on the menu so you can opt out.
