This unfortunately wasn’t the best experience for us. We went as a group of four for a birthday, had family up all the way from Palmerston North. We had been told about drag shows in Auckland and thought we would give it a go. The tickets were quite expensive we thought for what we got. We arrived at 7pm and the show didn’t actually start until 10.15pm (the show finished at 10.30pm). Meaning, in that time, there was nothing else to do other than spend more money at the bar and wait for our food to come out. We were ordering cocktails after cocktails - as after all we were going to drink and have a good night out too… but didn’t feel the affect of any of the many cocktails that we had - tasted like juice only. In the end, felt as sober as we did arriving. The show was only 15 minutes long, one song per queen, with half the 15 minute show being on the footpath outside where we couldn’t even see it. In the end, we left being over charged for our drinks nearly by $100 and feeling deflated and tired after waiting around for so long. Felt very ripped off - disappointing.

I can’t say enough good things about Caluzzi. Amazing staff, awesome atmosphere, beautiful food and drinks. We took our son there for his 21st and it was more than we could have asked for. The Queens are so beautiful and talented and so welcoming. Everyone should experience Caluzzi!!!

Absolutely love Caluzzi, love the Queens. If you haven't visited Caluzzi yet, book yourself a table and make it a night out, you won't be disappointed. Yummy food, awesome entertainment and fun/friendly Queens.

The lights blind you, the air con is blasting, the food was pub grub, but that's not what you're here for darling. You are here to adore at the altar of Drag and to let the colours of a rainbow shine. The jokes are bawdy and the laydees are tawdry. I remember staggering past Caluzzi many times on my way home (just art, not whoring) over 20 years ago. I wondered why it attracted so many middle aged people. Now that I'm middle aged I can say 'why not?'. Go for fun and you'll enjoy it.

A great meal, lovely entertaining staff. Fun atmosphere. This place would be challenging for wheelchair users to get around. No wheelchair toilet. No wheelchair parking available close by. A fantastic night out. An awesome range of drinks, including non-alcoholic. Unisex toilets, one with a urinal and toilet. Every inch of available space is utilized. Close quarters dining and seating. Great for big groups 20+ or small groups. Bookings are essential as it's difficult to get in.

We had a ladies night and thoroughly enjoyed it! We booked well in advance, the venue is small and I imagine gets booked out really quickly. Be prepared to book a few months in advance. The show was very well organised!! There wasn't a moment where we were 'waiting'. The performers had amazing costume changes, awesome dance routines and there was an opportunity for photos. The food was good! There was chicken, lamb and veg options and everyone enjoyed their meal - lamb fell off the bone!! But just remember you're not going for the food, so don't expect a master chef meal. We arrived at 7pm and walked out at about 11.30pm so it's a full evening event. We paid $20 per person deposit, then $99 each a couple weeks before. This cost included the show and food, you have to pay for drinks at the end of the evening. You need a credit card to open a tab for the table. Downside: The tables were very squashy, we had 5 people on one side of the table that should've been 4 people, but we made it work. Overall, we had a fantastic evening!! I would definitely go again!!

A must do in Auckland! The ladies will serve some fierce looks, slay the stage, and allow you to sip up some bright cocktails! It was a fantastic night, a great place for a party 🥳

This was my favourite part of the entire north island! Yes, I’m a stickler for drag BUT it is still a MUST DO for anyone visiting. I absolutely LOVED how welcoming, involved & gorgeous the queens are - aside from being extremely entertaining, they were so much fun & the drinks were delicious. You must go!!!

Had the BEST night at Caluzzi last night! Kita Mean was hilarious and such an amazing MC - brought the vibes the whole evening! Would definetly come again. All the queens were incredible! ☺️

I thought it to be a bit expensive in the beginning but it's totally worth every cent The food is good and plenty of it to soak up all the booze the girls are lovely and super on top of service. And OMG the show is amazing

My face hurt from having such a big smile on my face the whole night. So much funny. So many good jokes. Then my tummy hurt from over eating because the lamb shank was so big and tasty.

5 stars just doesn't cut it. Entertained, amazed, stuffed full of amazing food and looked after like a legend. This was such an amazing night and I'll be sure to recommend it to everyone I know with an open, full heart! Fully recommended! ♥️

I went with a big group to Caluzzi and we all had such a fabulous time! The whole night was filled with fun and laughter. The food and drinks were nice and came out with good pacing. The music can be a little loud but you're not going to Caluzzi for a quiet night anyway! Plus the host and other performers are wonderful, definitely reccomend!

Incredible! I’ve always felt so uncomfortable at places like clubs so when I found out this was drag dinner theatre I knew I’d be okay, and I had the best time! The girls were so lovely and Ivanna was so damn funny as the MC. The food was great as were the cocktails. Such a good way to experience a drag show, I can’t wait to come back.

To be honest we were utterly disappointed. It opened at 7pm and finished at 10.30pm, the show was only 15 mins long and started at 10.15pm the rest of the time was divided up between the starter, the main and breaks. The drinks had little to no alcohol in them and we were overcharged by 6 drinks come time to pay our table. Be careful as they take your card as security for your tab and table so if you don't track how many drinks your ordering, then you have no idea what you really owe come time to settle the bill. We went with a group of 4 and were unfortunately all utterly disappointed and wouldn't recommended. A night we were all really looking foward to.

Absolutely amazing night. Fantastic staff who bought so much energy the entire evening. They had everyone up and dancing. The food was delicious. Definitely would recommend.

We went for my hens night and it was EVERYTHING! The food was so good, my table really wanted the soup recipe because it was that good. The steak so cooked perfectly and flavored so well. The cupcake was the perfect size and gave you extra sweetness to finish. The drinks were super cute, they come in a flashing cup that you can take home after. The bar tender made sure they got stronger as the night got on too! Appreciate that heaps. The show was phenomenal! The girls danced so well, the costumes were better then some you see on drag race... The entertainment was fab! Can't go wrong with a dance battle for shots right? Would 100% recommend to everyone. Just do it!

Omg... Caluzzie dinner show is so much fun with my group of friends. We had such good seats too.. front row seats to the outside performances. Ladies are super talented and love that they bring sucha friendly vibe to the night in getting everyone involved. Food was average and tasty still but the show definitely makes up for it. Will need to try their bottomless brunch soon 😍🥰

One of the best nights I've had in a long time! My boyfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary there, and we met others celebrating birthdays and work parties. We all become like a family after the show was done! Laughing, dancing, great food and cocktails!! The girls are amazing and put on such a amazing show! For the space they have... Its up close and personal and they make it work!! I'm going to take this night away with me forever. I love my qweens!! Thankyou for having us.

Such a fun experience. And worth it for a dinner and show. The ladies were funny, and the food was actually pretty good. A bit late of a dinner personally (8.30ish), but I'm usually an early eater.

We went here for a colleagues leaving party. What a fantastic experience. The food was excellent and the entertainment was out of this world. The staff were amazing. Well worth the visit. Best night out in Auckland.

I’ve been here before and was really looking forward to bringing some friends to enjoy a great night out, unfortunately we left feeling disappointed. It appeared chaos in a booking error and people rushing around to try and find extra seats for the error made to fit everyone in, leaving the show running well behind time and us feeling well over it by the time things actually got started. The tables are so close together that I was literally been elbowed from the lady at the table beside us while she was cutting her steak. Food was very average, cupcake was probably the best part, the entree soup was barely touched by anyone at our table as it was quite distasteful. The performances themselves were great and brought a vibe but there was so much mucking around prior too we were quite ready to walk out. The actual entertainment part was shorter than I remember. Unsure what has happened since I last attended but it definitely was not as great as the last time and unfortunately my friends were very disappointed in my recommendation for the night. Whilst I appreciate this is not a 5 star restaurant and the entertainment is why you attend, we felt that it really did not provide a great night.

This place is nothing but non stop fun from the second you walk in the door. The Queens are just fabulous, Anita Wiglit is hilarious, be prepared to lose your voice from laughing, cheering and singing.

So much fun! Don't go if you're expecting a quiet evening for 2... It's a drag show! The food was surprisingly good and the drinks, simple but effective! We'll be back for sure!

Having been before I can vouch for it being a great night out but I have a sour taste left in my mouth following caluzzi making a major booking error which lead to our party of 15 ( for a hens night) without a space on the night regardless of us booking and paying a long time in advance. With only 2 weeks notice we had to scramble to find an alternative during peak wedding season. I admit they did offer some other options for private venue hire which was appreciated but id not pan out in the end. I think they need to fine tune their administration as our bride to be was really let down. I have given 3 stars as I know the talent, atmosphere and food are great...I was sad to have missed it.
