Haven't been out in a long time and this was a blooddy great night. We did it for a friends Hens Do and I tell ya these Queens we're halirious I haven't laughed so much. From the entertainment, to the shiny outfits if your like me I own wardrobe full of sparkles so this was just up my alley! Decent buffet style food which I was impressed with. Overall absolutely impressed worth booking for an event, Hens Do, Birthday, A night of laugh n entertainment, Christmas, A 50th just a reason to go out! Definitely recommend these Queens.

Perfect spot for a fun night out for birthdays, hens and just some good ol' laughs! The Queens are amazingly talented and hilarious and the bar staff are friendly! Dinner food was delicious, as were the drinks, however I wasn't that much a fan of the dessert but there was a wide variety of petite cakes, tarts and sweets (just not my cuppa tea).

If I could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely amazing, never had so much fun in my life. Buckwheat is a treasure and complete asset - I have seen her before and she never falters. The food was simple but delicious and the service was impeccable. Cannot wait to come back again another night!!!

What an absolute joke of a place. We went for a hens night, got kicked out pretty much straight after dinner as the hen was apparently “too drunk” after 3 drinks - which she definitely wasn’t but what would you expect from a hens party anyways? The whole night the drags only “performed” about 3-4 songs which were lip synced terribly. The rest of the night was filled in with talk breaks to the audience which was a waste of our money as we paid to see a drag SHOW! If you want to have any fun at all on a hens or any other party, don’t go here. Staff were super unfriendly and looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Would not recommend to anyone. Go to Caluzzi.

Was fab night Saturday 5th show. Loved all the drag artists and think Vanessa my fave cos super special and stunning and funny. Love the pics. Best birthday ever. Thank you

This is the third time I've been to Phoenix. 2x for gigs which were great, staff are fantastic! And once for the dinner and show which was awesome!

No food served here as it a bar. Urge Dance party here was just awesome. Reminds me of the old gay dance party scene.

It was my sons friends 18th Birthday party, her mom organized and it happened to be my son and I first time at Phoenix Cabaret club too. We were so excited as been wanting to go for sometime now. We loved the music, the entertainers, bar staff and the food was devine.

Fantastic night out for a work function. Amazing performances, dazzling costumes, on point humour and delicious food - highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it!! Easy to book online. Everything was via emails which was great. So helpful with any questions you may have. The host and performers bring everyone into their show... awesome! Bar staff are fabulous! The show itself... brilliant! Food - just yuuummmm. Music has everyone singing. One hell-of-a great night out!!!

Beautiful!!! Glamorous, funny, such a joy, AMAZING customer service and totally worth it . Went here for a friends birthday, had a strip tease competition, competition dancing and beaaaauuuutiful hosts💕 cake was dropped so they gave us a bottle of champagne!!! Sweet!

My family and I had a fabulous time celebrating my 46th birthday with the flamboyant Ms. Buckwheat, Ms. Tess Tickles and Ms. Venus @PhoenixCabaret on Karangahape Road. I loved the show, loved the people, alcohol available. Loud sounds, bright lights, great atmosphere. Only issue is the stairs up to the venue absolutely killed my old lady knees

Very fun show. 99 dollars for the show with dinner. The food was not good but it was so cool. Alcohol is very expensive but not tasty. Over all it's a good idea for a group celebration but I wish the food and alcohol was better.

We had an absolute blast at Phoenix for my birthday recently. Everyone was so accommodating and lovely. We enjoyed the food, the show and everything that went with it. The passion fruit margaritas were the best margaritas I've had in a long time. So yum!

What an absolutely fantastic night. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed by all the staff. The show was fantastic and the food was really nice and plentiful with a variety for all tastes. We really enjoyed our night.

I came here to assist for my drag friend, Princess Vivian. Staff were extremely sweet, the other drag queens were extremely lovely too and the environment was so inviting! I was barely 18 the first time I came, so it was my first experience with a live "adult" show and honestly I loved it, I never felt any discomfort. My friends were having banter with strangers like it was nothing and everyone was just in the vibe. The preformances were amazing too, it got me a lot more interested in the art of drag. Keen to return once lockdown ends :)
