Hands down the best airport lounge we have ever been to. We were able to access as business class passengers on Qantas, thank you Air New Zealand for this experience. The staff were amazing and so attentive to cleaning everything and clearing plates. The food selection was varied and always freshly replenished. The bathrooms were very clean. There is an out outsideish area that has louvres as a ceiling. There are many chairs and all are comfortable. Heaps of laptop desk areas all with power connections. There are hanging chairs in the outside part and lounge chairs inside for extra leg room to rest. The bar and barista are fantastic providing quick service with a friendly attitude. I would love to go back to this lounge I would recommend it to anyone that can access.

Unfortunately this is one mediocre lounge especially considering this is supposedly the flagship offering of all Air New Zealand lounges. Food was bland and flavourless, coffee was decidedly meh. Even Qantas lounge makes it better. Thankfully, showers are plentiful and water pressure are excellent, the only redeeming point.

Flying out today. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lounge was spacious and clean. The facility was a bit run down and poor quality and the selection of snacks was very disappointing. In fact I left early and ate elsewhere. Also the Wi-Fi was ridiculously slow. Could not even update phone apps or effectively use the internet. Expected more from the flagship carrier at home base. Will try other lounges next time.

The main problem with this lounge is the capacity which is never enough to handle amount of people, resulting in really dreadful experience when you cannot find any place to sit especially if you’re travelling in group. I don’t understand how Air New Zealand cannot do the simple maths with all the flights depending at the same time that they need to expand this place. For the main biggest airport in country supposed to represent the airline it’s really bad experience for everyone. Staff is friendly and compensating the experience with their smiles and trying to be accommodating but it’s not enough. The lounge itself is otherwise modern and fresh. Food and drinks selection is quite decent, just nowhere to sit and eat.

It's a mixed bag. The atmosphere is relaxed, the view from the windows is great. We were there at about 12.30pm on a Saturday in June and, except for soup, there was no warm food. That is somewhat understandable as international flights are not yet back to pre-pandemic levels. The cold food selection was good. But then I needed to use the bathroom and didn't because it was a bit yuck. Maybe I was unlucky.

Great service and spacious area for members. The quality of food is excellent. Nice drinks and coffee. There are various setting configuration to suit people with different preference and style. The table I sit has wireless charging to my phone.

It was thankfully quiet and not at all crowded on a Monday before noon. Staff are friendly and the runway views are great. But the furnishings are beat to hell and the food and drink offerings are average, at best. A "flagship" lounge should be a lot better than this.

The Air New Zealand International Lounge at Auckland Airport continues to impress with its positive vibe and ambient atmosphere, as expected. What sets it apart is the enticing experience of watching roast pork belly being prepared right in front of you. The sizzling sounds and mouthwatering aroma add an exciting culinary element to the lounge, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The combination of excellent ambiance and live cooking creates a memorable and delightful lounge experience.

It’s an okay lounge. I would up leaving after a short time because I enjoyed the Stratas lounge better. The food was okay. The view was better. The showers were nice. The staff was friendly. There was a nice quiet room.

No one should ever have to pay for this. It gets crazy busy and there’s barely anywhere to sit if you’re there between 8am and 6pm. At least the coffee’s fine and I guess there technically food. If you’re not there during absolute peak service hours, good luck getting something decent to eat. But its hard to approach the staff because they seem to want to distance themselves. I found less stress sitting at a table outside the Burger King.

The whole set up of the lounge seems to invite the passengers to visit its different zones. First, head to the dining area to get some refreshments. Then, head to the bar and grab a gourmet coffee or cocktail. Bring it outdoors to chill before catching a quick nap by the chill-out area. Love the ambience and space of the entire lounge. As we visited Strata Lounge first, we were a little late to the meal time at the Air New Zealand Lounge by the time we reached at about 10pm. Hence, we were only able to have some light snacks here. Nonetheless, because of the bar area, we had an enjoyable experience with the gourmet coffees and cocktails at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Auckland… This time, we ordered the gourmet coffee at Air New Zealand Lounge Auckland via a touch pad and had a double shot flat white that was fragrant, rich and delectable. It was paired with desserts of carrot cake and blueberry cheesecake – both of which were legit good. For more details, visit 2bearbear today!

Very cozy & well presented lounge. Selections of food & drinks are great.

Typical premium lounge. Buffet food, alcohol and soft drinks. Coffee available. View on the airport tarmac. Can get pretty crowded when lots of flights are leaving, however when that happens AirNZ blocks entry to non-members

Always love visiting this lounge. It's not too busy. There are quiet corners. You can order coffees at the bar. Cocktails and mocktails available.

Fairly good international lounge although food can be bit sparse in between meal times. There is a good selection of wines and spirits. Recommend ordering coffee via the app as there can be a bit of queue in peak times. You can also access the lounge if you are Star Alliance Gold and flying on a Star Alliance Airline. Plenty of places to sit and relax at tables, up at the bar or in lounge style seating. There is also free Wi-Fi and places to plug in a charger. Bathrooms are typically clean and tidy.

Awesome lounge, scenic views, good food and plenty of sitting eating and drinking options.

All in all, this was a pretty dismal & disappointing couple of hours. The lounge has comfortable seats & a decent bar, but not much else. There was no hot food of any sort whatsoever, there was a very limited selection of cold savoury vegetarian food, a few desserts and two types of fruit (bananas & oranges). There wasn't a single piece of meat on the buffet!! It's a very low voltage lounge indeed, with rude, officious and indifferent 'shrug your shoulders' staff to complete the rather underwhelming picture. I am absolutely astonished that anyone could think that this lounge is a high quality experience ...

As soon as you walk in, you can begin to de-stress from the manic of checking in, security checkpoints etc. I'm not big on eating before and during flights but the drinks selection is always a great alternative. The Air NZ app works well for ordering coffee but otherwise you can head up to the bar and they'll make it for you on the spot. Would recommend for those who travel a lot.

I seldom travel Air NZ and once again regret paying the extra for Prem economy. You don't get access to the lounge. There is no fast access through customs although checkin is faster than economy. Twice I have been told the middle seat will be free and once again it was not. Prem economy is a lot of extra money for very little extra. The staff are nice and the food is only acceptable and takes a long time to arrive. Passengers were on their second round of drinks before food arrived .

I'm giving 3 stars just for the AIR NZ sales manager who saved me! I had checked in online and arrived 50 min before departure. The lady at the counter tore my boarding pass and just said sorry you're too late and can't get on board!!! Imagine how I felt atm! She almost gave me a heart attack! I started asking for any alternatives. She referred me to their manager. The manager was also surprised by what that lady had done because there was still plenty of time and I didn't have any check-in baggage. Turned out that they hadn't even opened the gate for the flight! Thanks again to that gentleman who chaproned me to the gate and gave me peace of mind that I will catch the flight.

Love this lounge. Food choice is normally pretty decent and access to drinks and a coffee bar is great where you order on apps setup there. Showers and a lounge also for viewing large TV and a semi outside area too.

Great staff, wonderful amenities. The baked goods seemed a little off (sugar in frosting still granulated) but that’s minor. The hot foods and finger sandwiches were five stars though.

I do like it . I was impressed that the staff really care . Food wise , an improvement possibly required . We after all are exporters and producers of dairy , meat and fruit . It's our last meal so yes improve.

So great to be back but we had early flight so went to Lounge after 4:15am. Others were there also. Nobody at desk and got waved away by staff. Went downstairs and phoned. Told they open at 4:30. Suggested to lady at front desk that a sign of opening time would be good and she said it's on their website. I've looked and couldn't see it, obviously the other people who got turned away had same problem. Signs don't cost much but are very helpful 😎👍🙂

Gorgeous flagship lounge (much better than the Qantas lounge in AKL). We entered as Qantas club members on a Jetstar flight (they had to manually process our entry, but we entered first and the kind server brought us our boarding passes). Buffet is open, their sweets like caramel tart, vanilla cupcake, coffee mouse are excellent. The A la carte was not open I think due to covid. Lounge was very empty on 31/05/21, and everyone was very welcoming. Lots of beers and wines available, even self serve spirits. Hope to visit this beautiful lounge again.
