Rather lovely brewers pub with brilliant beers, an extensive range of ciders and generic pub food. The crispy squid was actually one of the better versions I’ve had, with light batter and bouncy flesh. The chicken wings had no substance, they were spice, skin and oil. They were not dry, but lacked all juiciness and had no bones. They were more like pork scratchings than chicken wings in density and texture. The view is beautiful; sea views from the balcony in Mission Bay, but the pool table is the only real treat. There are quite a few pesky flies around - but the table service is quick, professional and kindly. Not a bad spot to stop if your wallet allows - with $15 glasses of beer (not full pints) it’s more of a treat than a local.

Have been here a number of times and it’s always a pleasant experience. The mushroom pizza was delicious, had a good amount of mushrooms on it but not a lot of depth in flavour. The onion rings were very average. The onion was soggy, no crunch and coating was oily with no flavour to it. The service was good but they were definitely short staffed. One or two more staff would have eased pressure on the others. There is a variety of craft beers and ciders to choose from. There is plenty of good people watching and views to be had. Parking on the weekends can be a bit of a nightmare. Definitely worth going to.

This place is awesome! I really had a great time. The staff were really attentive, especially when they saw I was dining alone. There is ample seating and they have a deck outside with great views and a lovely breeze. They have an extensive menu and drinks list, including wine, beer, cocktails, non alcoholic, and hot beverages. I was very happy with their pricing and portion sizes. Their jalapeno poppers were to die for! The coleslaw was so fresh and tasty. Everything was delicious. I liked the descriptions they give of the beer, so you know what to expect. I had the Rosé, which surprised me. I thought it would be sweet, but it was tart and delicious. I also had what I think was some sort of frozen margarita. It was really good, especially on a humid day. I will definitely be back

Went there for a birthday dinner. Friendly wait staff and bar staff, relaxing ambiance, good food and cocktail. Highly recommend the Elderflower Gin. Food was good and generous portion. Prices are good for the location and quality. Gave it 4 star instead of 5 was because they promptly serve up 5 of our food orders and the other 6 orders did arrive till 5 of us almost finished our meal and we asked them for the second time about the missing meals.

Sample rack ciders were worth the $19 spent on it. Very friendly staff members and service was great. However I probably won't buy the Easter special martini again. I dont feel it was worth the $20 I paid for it.

We would like to sincerely thank James and the amazing team at Good George for providing the most fantastic venue for our sons 18th birthday celebration. The night flowed perfectly thanks to the professional team at the Good George. We really appreciated all the support with planning the night, assistance with AV, and decorations. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. We highly recommend the Good George Mission Bay Function Room.

Great location, lovely hipster vibe. Unfortunately, not very nice beer, even though that's the reason for the place. Every beer seems to be focused around citrus flavours, which is a few stretch from decent, let alone good beer. But, that's just my personal opinion.

I've been to Good George before and its always good but this time was next level! Ricky was amazing! He was super attentive, friendly and gave incredible service. Food was also really good and plenty of gluten free options. Will absolutely return!

Great place in Auckland. Laid back vibe, great staff and some really good food. Had fish tacos and the sweet corn arancini, both were very tasty and great flavors. Coupled with a couple of George's Lager and we walked away very happy campers.

Fantastic place for lunch with the kids even! Staff were super accommodating and friendly. Really enjoyed our time there. Awesome selection of beers. Can recommend the fish tacos.

Service was good, atmosphere was decent, and drinks were good too. But food was not good. The food tasted like microwave food. Meat lovers was just average and arancini balls tasted like the frozen packet ones warmed. It wasn’t expensive food but you’d expect it to be half decent.

Had lunch here a week before Christmas with a bunch of friends and it was fabulous. Not a big venue but popular. An upstairs venue that has inside dining and an outside dining area on the deck. Great food menu with 1/2 price specials. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Will definitely revisit.

Booked in easily for 8 people through the website, customer service was excellent and food was even better. Would definitely recommend to others and will visit again.

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was not. After repeating the order back to us for our large table, the person taking our order forgot to put one of the meals through, as well as one of the drinks. When our meal didn't arrive, he apologised and admitted he missed entering the order in. Our food did arrive relatively quickly after that, but our table had finished their meals. He then offered us a complimentary drink to apologise, took the order for it, and then never brought it. Mistakes happen, but forgetting the original food order, a drink order and then the compensating drink too is a bit much.

Great pub food. Had the vegan burger 🍔 😋 sensational taste. Glad to have come across this venue by chance. Totally worth the visit

Came here after a horrific experience at DeFontein across the road. The atmosphere was amazing! So welcoming and warm. The beer was nice and crisp and the loaded fries of the lady sitting next to me looked amazing! Def recommend for a chill one after the beach !

Had our daughter’s first birthday here in their private function area. Initially worried about having it at a pub, but was very private and cute setting. Food is good. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

I recently visited Good George in Mission Bay, and I have to say that my dining experience was a bit of a mixed bag. On the downside, the ceviche lacked any flavour or seasoning it was just raw fish on a plate. The burger was overcooked and not very appetizing at all, and the buffalo chicken wings with ranch dressing were dry and overcooked as well. The ribs were tender but lacked flavor. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the food as it was at a poor level for Mission bay area. However, I must commend the friendly and attentive staff who provided good service during my visit. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their pilsner beer, which was top-notch. If you decide to visit Good George, my advice would be to go for their craft beer and consider dining across the road at De Fontan for a more satisfying meal.

I usually come here for the pub quiz, the garlic prawns pizza is really good and the jalapeno poppers were good, would buy them again when lockdown ends. The warm cookie for dessert is ok but probably won't purchase that again. They have a really good sample rack for $19 and beer battered fries are amazing will buy them both every single visit

We had to wait 30mins for the steak meal... and it was totally worth it. Bit late for our paint and sip though, enjoyed the food the beer was ok i think we made a poor choice on the chocolate flavoured beer wasnt very nice

My friend and I ate here 23/08/2023 and the manager that evening was so kind and accommodating. They were friendly and helpful the entire eve. My friend enjoyed their chicken burger and said the chicken in it tasted great. I had a GF DF version of the cheeseburger and, for those who have these sensitivities, this is a great place to try. It's mid tier pricing but what isn't in Mission Bay? It has a lovely deck area that they put wind breakers down if you decide to sit outside.

Loved our Fathers day lunch. We turned up, last minute without a booking and weren't turned away. The staff were amazing, attentive, quick and polite. They were happy to squeeze us in. The food was delish and we will definitely be back for some more of that yummy cheesy garlic bread. Yum. 5 stars all round ✨️

Just hosted a corporate event here in the Mission Room. We needed workshop space, AV equipment, catering and a dedicated bar and this place was brilliant. Brian and his team were extremely professional, easy and quick to communicate with and the delicious food selected (from a generous amount of options) was provided on time. Glasses and plates were cleared quickly where needed. There was nothing more we could have asked for, thanks very much Brian! from the Go Wireless NZ team.

If you're going to half the quantity in a beer and charge the same price you have to have your head read if you don't expect a negative component. On top of that you are shortening the brewing process so the beers that were once fullsome and had body are now light and lacklustre. Great location and great service was the good points however this group beer qualty and size / price policy just makes me look elsewhere.

Went and had a beer after afternoon at mission bay. Place has a nice vibe our hazy made with mosaic hops was good.

Like the hamburgers with fries. Also nice varieties of beers of course.

Had a catch up with friends here. The Lychee gin cocktail was honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, please don’t get rid of this!! The jalapeños, spiced cauliflower & mushroom pizza delicious. The service so friendly. Keep up the great work guys. Definitely recommend & I’ll be back for sure!

One of the best place to hangout in Mission Bay. The staff were friendly. The food was good and we had some drinks too. Me and my friends were happy to go there in the end.

Good George is a great place to eat at and has the nicest food I've ever tasted!!!!. Their chicken burger was nice and tender with just enough aioli in their coleslaw. Their chicken pizza was so cheesy and delicious. Drinks are served freshly cold with a decent sized serving. Their service was immaculate and have the most polite people I've ever come across. The food is brought straight away without needing to wait that long. Good George is a 10 out of 10!!!!!!! I would definitely recommend
