Got discouraged by the rude and impatient cashiers who refused to give me a refund after overcharging me for a clearance item from the clearance section. I honestly didn’t mind paying the full price, it was the way they handled the situation for me. I don’t think laughing at a customer and getting aggressive can be called good service. It seemed like other customers there were also treated terribly and struggled to get proper help by staff. I got told that the clearance starts tomorrow but there were no signs or notice, in store or online. It would’ve been easier if they put a warning or something so people don’t misunderstand:) Every time I visit I feel that a few of the staff want young people out of the store as quickly as possible - probably because we don’t spend as much money. They’re super kind when I visit with my mother. (young staff are usually extremely helpful and kind, but those who look like they’re in 40-50s are so impatient and rude) I don’t think I’ll ever visit this specific farmers until the worker training is done properly and they learn how ‘customer service’ works. Or I’ll try visit when those specific workers are off.

Literally all of the older staff are appallingly rude with serious attitude problems for people who work in customer service roles. Luckily the younger staff are so kind and helpful - especially the young woman in a hijab who was a real delight. Might be past time to get rid of some of the older, salty employees who clearly don't want to work here and focus on promoting your younger team members who are clearly having to work twice as hard to make up for their older, less capable counterparts

Waited 14 days for my online item to arrive in store. Never received any updates. It was only after I phoned, then physically went to the store and demanded it that I managed to claw it out of them. A lot of staff in this store have a very bad attitude. Will avoid buying here at any costs. Terrible experience.

Always nice and quiet, never busy. Not completely dead like Pakuranga Mall, however, because many shops are actually open.

Always clean. Couldn't find a trolley or maybe even a basket with the long handle and wheels. That would have made it better experience

Store security was blatant in her dismay toward us. Leg's spread hands on hips she stood glaring at us. Store assistant that was serving us was obviously embarrassed and somewhat sympathetic. Never going there again

Love this Farmers, always have. It's a staple of the Takapuna Mall (Shore City). You can buy work wear, causal and dress kids of all ages. The toy selection is always wonderful. Been going to this mall for 30+ years and Farmers every time I can remember

Appliance staff found a part for my Sunbeam miniblender although a Sunbeam phone enquiry told me the part was no longer available. Great work!!!

This Farmers is not accessible for users with wheelchairs or prams. You have to go out of the store to use the mall lift to get to the second level. So you have to pay in 2 transactions if you need things from different departments

It's a good Farmers to shop at, and there is almost always someone to help

Love this store. Mainly for Lego as do have a good range and often more stock than other stores. Staff are always very friendly and it is just a nice shopping experience.

Really disappointed. Ordered a gift for delivery, told 5 to 10 days. It took 8 days just for it to be dispatched. Received well after the special day.

Farmers Takapuna has the North Shore casual friendly feel about it. You can't beat the attitude of the staff it's brilliant. It's a well managed store full of typically Farmers products.

Does it’s job. Good discounts and reward scheme, essentially a higher quality department store. But still reasonably cheap.

I haven't bought anything from this store for a very long time but it has always been a good place to buy New clothes.

They seem to have a lot of new staff. None particularly well trained, seems that they are over worked and underpaid - typical! How about you pay your staff more & just make a little less profit!!😡 Store incredibly difficult to move around in & a lady in a wheelchair couldn’t get around all the displays very easily at all!! Shockingly laid out!! And low or no stock in ALL the most popular sizes in shirts!! Not everyone wants to buy online & some people have mail theft issues so don’t want it delivered!!

An icon in Takapuna, it's been there for years. However the merchandise..although good quality, is no longer priced for anyone on a budget. Pleasant staff, nicely laid out shop and good to go and drool at the fashion items

Picked up some high quality Line 7 brand shirts at a bargain price! Who says I need to go elsewhere to get a bargain? Also, I love the treasure hunt for great nuggets of stock around the store.
