Always transfer my call to somewhere, no one answered. Left messages, no call back. Different person asked me same questions so many time and everytime. Bad communication. In addition, the receptionist was very very rude. I called Radiology dept around 13:00 7th Feb 2019. There was a lady answered the phone. Extremely rude. She should not be a receptionist at any places. Need improvement. Very inconvenient for Monday to Friday workers.

I had multiple visits at the eye clinic, had experienced long waiting times for every one of my appointments. My last visit was at 13:10pm, I waited 1.5 hours only get to see a nurse followed by waiting further 45 minutes to see a doctor. I had a word with the receptionist, it turned out they got every patient in at the same time at 13:10, I just found it unbelievable! I had my husband drove me there, many patients had their family or friends to do so, all have to wait, what a waste of everybodyโ€™s time! The solution is to simply put patients in different time slots, which frees up waiting room and parking lots, I hear lots of complaints about waiting and expensive parking. Most of nurses and doctors here are very good, but the management need to keep it up. Come on!

There is paid parking right outside the entrance. It is pricey so I was able to park in Cornwall park and walk back. I went for the eye clinic. They were quite helpful but it did take a while to be seen. My appointment was around 1000 but I didn' finish until around 1300. You did need to do an online screen before heading in and don't loose the sticker or you'd have to do it again.

For the Eye Clinic. The wait was 6 hours with acute bilateral infection. If you're earning, consider going privately. Once I was finally in however doctor was friendly enough. I do think more could be done to treat adenoviral conjunctivitis; I ended up clearing it with a weak povodine iodine, saline and aloe solution by my own research

Awesome Clinical Centre ๐Ÿ‘ Excellent service, I've never waited such a short time at a hospital. The staff are SO kind, professional & clear. The facilities are top notch. Very clear & inclusive sign posting, fresh cold drinking water, hand sanitiser, a TV with subs and information material available in waiting room of the radiology dept. So grateful that this is a free service. Ka pai team.

I have attended the eye clinic now for over two years and have found them to be very helpful, friendly and professional. Admittedly when you attend the clinics there is a long wait but they are very thorough in the examinations and always take time to explain any procedures or treatments to you well. I am very grateful we have such a good service available to us in Auckland.

Shocking communication, cancelling appointments last minute. The schedulers do not answer their phone or respond to calls. I had to have all of my tests repeated at a repeat clinic appointment as they could not see the scans on the system. Losing vision has a serious impact on people's lives and clear communication is the least we can expect during such a stressful time! Let alone making people take time off work then canceling last minute.

I have been to Greenlane Hospital many times, always driving patients there and bringing them home, and never had any issues. This time, I came as a patient myself! Communication prior to appointment was clear, and upon arrival staff were very professional. From the very kind front line guide (who realised I was lost before I even realised that), to the receptionist, to the wonderful and attentive nurses, and a special thanks to the charge/head nurse Vanessa who was absolutely amazing. Honestly it is so easy to forget how fortunate we are, and to focus on the negatives, but the staff here were incredible and that is what counts.

Poor service don't even deserve one star They don't have any answers of your call they only can transfer your call one to other but unable to solve your problem some of them are very rude they even don't know how to talk and respect of others. They are ridiculous. I talked to Auckland district health board about them but they didn't gave me good response. I was done with all of them then I chose my treatment out country. If you got any other options then don't go green lane clinical centre try somewhere else.๐Ÿ‘Ž

1/ After a big effort to get from a road slip area of South Titirangi to Greenlane for a 10am appointment, we then wait an hour and a half to get seen. One poor lady had been waiting for over two hours, and ended up in tears. Seriously, why bother with appointment times at all? 2/ If you are not going to police the mobility park out the front, and itโ€™s full (with many cars not displaying any Mobility card), here is what I did today, and will do in future. Park in one of the temporary spots right outside the door, and put the mobility sign up, youโ€™ll just have to deal . .

Had a full cornea op 2wks ago and all the staff in the totara ward absolutely amazing thank you for being so wonderful. Went back last week to have check up at eye clinic and what a bloody joke, receptionists absolutely useless, rude and so disorganised. Arrived 20 mins before my appointment time had to ask receptionist 1 1/2 hours later what was going on. Stupid receptionist hadn't even put me through as being there. Along with other things that went wrong will be laying a major complaint so disappointed as have been traveling from Gisborne to Auckland for last 6-7 years.

When I first went, the doctor and a young nurse were really nice to me! The young nurse told me the result will be back in a week so just call them in a week to follow up. I called, and another nurse picked up. I asked if the specialist will arrange a time with me to go through the results, and roughly when. She said she doesn't know when, they might contact me. And started telling me off "I'm not allowed to tell you the results even if you ask. The doctor has lots of things to do, so she can't just do your thing. You have to wait." (The whole process has been 2 months๐Ÿ™‚) I didnt ask for the result, I asked if the result's back, and roughly when the specialist will contact me. She transferred me to the medical director. He said "So you wanna know the results?" I said "No, I don't wanna know the results. I just want to know if someone will contact me regarding the results, and roughly when." The communication has been horrible, and I don't understand the audacity of the nurse. I don't know if she's overworked and grumpy, or she's just bad at listening and understanding others. But I wouldn't recommend, everyone seemed clueless and disorganized. This might also indicate that we don't have enough doctors and nurses in NZ, so they work under high pressure and stress.

My appointment was delayed for more than 2:30 hour. Total time waster! I even end up not seeing the doctor very unprofessional why making appointments for patients when you are too busy this clinic doesnโ€™t deserve a star at all what a waste of my time The worst hospital in the world this has happened before I was here waited for more than the 2:30 hours the first. The 2nd time which is today 14 of December 2023 the receptionist was rude and and racist before her coworker came and help me 3rd I had to wait again for than 4 hours still didnโ€™t see the doctor I miss my son Christmas school party because of this appointment please before you make an appointment for people be sure you have doctors available to see them I just wasted my time money and gas โ›ฝ๏ธ 2 time even take off work without no pay

BE AWARE Pregnant mothers, Awful service at the maternity walk in centre this morning. I called ahead no answer so I drove 50mins from Pukekohe to speak to a midwife about transferring care and was stopped by receptionist who said no one would help me because of my DHB area and how far along in pregnancy I was. I came here to speak to a midwife about my maternity care not a receptionist. Being denied a chance to see a midwife at the walk in Center that isnโ€™t required a booking is very misleading from what it states on the website. If the phone was answered when I called ahead and was told I could not see anyone I would not have driven 50mins to the clinic. Will consider placing a complaint with the ombudsman.

@ Mammogram services, the staff there are just excellent. I was there this morning to accompany a family member for an ultrasound. I saw a patient who turned up nearly 2 weeks earlier than her appointment as obviously she had got her appointment date mixed up. The receptionist did not turn her away but arranged a last minute appointment for her so she didnโ€™t have to come again in two weeksโ€™ time! Very accommodating. Superb customer service member who puts patient first.

super long wait time. for me this time was around 2 hrs. I waited until close time. I was the last patient they helped even though I was not the last patient in or the last appointment of the day. I went up to reception to ask and they told me there were only 2 people in front of me and that the doctors are on a break. After that, everyone else in the waiting room (much more than 2 ppl)got their appointment done while I continued to wait. I was only there for a picture of my eye to be taken which took 10 minutes...

The receptionist here is very rude, abrupt and cold, clearly she has no patience and regard for anyone, perhaps they need to employ someone more friendlier with less of an attitude!!! I would have given no stars if this were an option as this would have been right up there!!

Had my eye surgery here and very happy with how it has healed. However the wait on my initial consultation was insanely long, making my appointment way later than when I'd booked. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding, especially when I notified them of my fear of needles. My surgeon had a family emergency on the day and they had someone else pick them up, he was very professional but not very pleasant to deal with when it came to actually spending time to explain things to me prior to surgery.

What a great health service we have . From start to finish my Pre OP appointment went like clockwork . Was told it might take 4-5hrs as I had so many people to see . I was in and out within 2 hrs . Except for a parking glitch in which I met 2 very nice Ladies who provided me with a car space for free . Thank you both so much . The parking entrance box had eaten my efpos card and they ordered retrieval of same while I had my appointment and collected same from security on my way out . A special thank you you to these two Ladies . NURSE Meresita , and Dr. Anna Lawernce . Everybody so professional.

Tried to cancel my appointment multiple times because I don't have transport to go there and informed them that I also had a baby so I couldn't come. Staff insisted that I still came saying "That's ok. Bring your baby. We'll send you a return taxi." which was nice. It was great until I got there and my daughter cried during my ultrasound at the EARLY PREGNANCY UNIT. Another blonde curly haired nurse came into my appointment and tried to take my baby away then acted offended when I said she didn't like strangers only for the nurse to then say "You need to take her out more!" Lady you need to stop trying to touch and take away strangers kids and learn some boundaries.

Not only do most of their doctors not know what they doing but they are also egotistical and offer no real help or solutions besides passing you on to someone else. Side note: Beware Dr Lilac of the gastro department, does not do her job properly at and is very rude and angry. Edited update: H Clarke of the pain department is beyond arrogant and rude needs to retire.

I recently had surgery here and it was such a great experience. All the staff were so professional and accomodating (I wish I could remember more names!). But everyone who worked on me in the theatre was amazing especially the anaesthesiologist Caleb who had a great bedside manner and was very considerate regarding my fear of needles. Nurse Mona looked after me and she was very friendly and helped me feel comfortable post surgery. Overall, I was quite nervous but with staff this great I didnโ€™t have to be!

The Centre is easy to find and access to the public parking is pretty well sign posted. The pedestrian access allows for easy wheelchair access. The cafe just inside the entrance had the welcome smell of great coffee. The first set of public toilets are only a few metres into the hallway. ๐Ÿ‘ Very extensive signage may help you work out where to go. A welcome desk, staffed by pleasant, happy volunteers, provides additional support too. A bank of lifts are metres beyond the welcome desk. Even after decades of random appointments, at various clinics, and visits, it's nice to meet such charming, patient and professional staff; mostly caring and understanding too. ๐Ÿค—

My daughter had dental surgery here a few weeks ago. Just want to say thank you to the whole team who took care of her.. Everyone did a wonderful job and she's recovered well. They even gave her a book to take home. Very professional, friendly and gentle staff. Even the nurses and people behind reception did very well.. While waiting some patients came in being quite demanding and noisy. Loved the way the nurses and reception staff handled it gracefully. My only complaint was the amount of people/patients who were smoking outside in a clearly smoke-free area. The other patients were more of an issue than actual staff. I have a lot of respect for the staff here at Greenlane Hospital.

What is the point of the carpark arms? They make parking very confusing for the elderly and one of the arms almost came down on my head when walking to the entrance - pathways not ideal so most people walk on the car ways. Seems very dangerous and unnecessary. Now have a stained shirt but could be much worse. Yes thereโ€™s a sign there which may reduce risk but the hospital should eliminate this risk surely.

Came in at 12:30 with an appointment at 1 oโ€™clock. Wait 30 minutes in a long snake line until we are set in waiting room 8. We wait for THREE hours until being seen. We get a scan and get told to go back to the waiting room. At 4:45 (15 minutes before closing) see a doctor which does more scans and we are waiting for the doctor now with practically ZERO time until the clinic closes!!!! I would give 0 stars if a could.

Absolutely dissappointed in security , making people wait outside in the cold. Don't tell me about protocol, you can do something about it, like put the chairs by the entrance for the sake of our vulnerable people to keep warm before the hospital open. And saying we complain alot and just wait ? what a inconsiderate and rude reply , why do you have this job when you're just going to treat patients like this ? So upset with this type of service. The least you can do is reply properly if you're going to make us sit outside in the cold.

More Parking Pay stations Needed!!! After a visit to the eye clinic I drove around and around for 20 mins to find a pay station to get out of the carpark. I then found signs saying that the pay station is inside the hospital but I couldn't get in, as its locked down !! Bloody useless
