My mum with dementia can be difficult at times and Christine was so lovely helping her to find the best shoes. We are so thankful for you considerate manner and help. Worth every cent. You might get a cheaper pair elsewhere but you definitely will not get the same level of service. Nigel really knows his stuff and happily put the time into making sure I got the right shoes to improve everything about my running. His concern was for my overall posture, health and how to best and safely hit my goals. I have never had better service from a shoe store or fitting before. Won't go anywhere but here from now on.

I have had problems with my feet causing body pain for years. We were travelling from Auckland to Napier and briefly stopped in here… so glad we did! Quick testing, two sets of shoes to try, shoes that felt like a dream….. a very satisfied customer who literally cried after leaving because the shoes were so comfortable after years of shoes that were not! I have just received today the best customer service from Neil and his wife. If only other stores would take a leaf out of their book. I don't mean other shoe clinic stores, but shops in general.

I really enjoyed my experience at the store! Jo took me under her wing and did tests to evaluate the type of foot I had and the support I would need all free of charge. We found the perfect sneaker, I felt like I was walking on air as well as insoles for my hiking boots! Amazing attention to detail, lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend a visit.

The service at Shoe Clinic is outstanding. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. Christine is lovely and makes you feel comfortable. She put me into the correct shoes for my feet. I will be returning for more running shoes for sure.

Nigel and Christine are an outstanding couple. Their customer service and product knowledge is excellent, second to none!! They are genuinely interested in giving and delivering the best service and shoe to fit you. It was a total pleasure to shop there, I will definitely be back and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Nigel - what a guy. Since moving out of NZ years ago I've really missed the friendly Kiwi attitude. I'll get back to that. Nigel's depth of knowledge on both his product and the way to figure out what you need is actually quite amazing. I've not experienced anything like it in a long time. Back to that customer service. How often do you leave a shop and have the owners say "Drop by and say gidday next time you're in town."? Great product selection and unbeatable customer service makes this place unmissable, in my opinion.

We have had a great experience here with Nigel helping us out a bunch. I needed ankle support and I received zero advice from all the outdoor shops who sell multiple products around outdoor activities and didn’t seem to have the expertise I needed to help me choose a hiking boot for my hurt ankle. After coming in and speaking to Nigel, my wife and I found great boots to assist us on our adventures. So if you are needing any sort of footwear I’d suggest to go to the people who only look after that all day, every day.

I visited Nigel and his team at the Taupo Shoe Clinic recently. I needed shoes for a specific foot problem and Nigel was so knowledgeable on helping me find the correct shoes. He did a scan of my feet, asked questions about what problems I’ve had with my feet and then picked out three pairs of shoe he felt would be appropriate. All 3 pairs of shoes were amazing. I had a difficult time deciding between them. Thank you Nigel for all your excellent help.

Our son's surgical podiatrist sent us here even though it's hours away and it was worth it! Nigel is simply amazing and knew what he was on about and our son has exactly what Keith wanted that a previous company told us they sold us, but had not. Keith has checked the shoes and is impressed with Nigel again. We're calling this morning to order another pair and have them shipped to us. We couldn't be more impressed.
