    Terrible company! Don’t trust them at all. I purchased a ring 12 months ago and took it back to get repaired under the “Lifetime Diamond Warranty.” Got turned back since I didn’t bring it in after 6 months to be inspected before the damage happened. You don’t expect a rings diamond to fall out after one year of occasional wear. Michael hill clearly do not believe in their products otherwise you wouldn’t need to do this. Just a sales con to not take responsibility for cheaply made products. I feel extremely offended after being a loyal customer for years but will never go back.

    Husband went in yesterday wanted to pick a gold necklace for his special occasion . The staff called in extra security ( there's security in every entrance/ exit ) , they also asked to hold my husband passport which my husband handed to them . We came with 4 kids , 2 in the stroller have at least 8 footlocker shopping bag with us . Like really ? Discrimination much ? When all this happens I wasn't there ( running after a 1 years old) . In the end my husband didn't feel comfortable purchasing from them we left . No more business from us 👋

    The experience I had with the store manager in St Lukes are unbelievable! I felt like I was treated disrespectfully from from the minute that she walked out from her office. She had explored her unprofessionalism in a rude manner. She threatened with withholding my ring if I don't agree to pay the repair fees that I have never agreed upon. I am not sure what sort of training did she had to be able to provide such a bad service.

    Took my wedding ring in that had lost a diamond after not even one day. Was told that because we didn’t get a 6month check, which we were never told about, the life time warranty was void. We asked to speak to the manager who said she was busy serving a customer despite there being 5 sales assistants that could take over and only her that could help us. After 20mins waiting we left. Disappointed. Will never shop there again. FYI make sure you get a 6month check and documentation signed even if not told about it. They will not take responsibility. Also note: in the space of 2 days 4 people told me of diamonds falling out of their Michael Hill rings. Shoddy workmanship indeed.

    They work for commission and it shows. Why else would different sales staff recommend to get a wedding band resized over 3 sizes smaller, when I’ve specifically asked for one made to size? Their jewellery is beautiful, I simply dislike their sales methods. Pushing to get a sale through on the day, conveniently forgetting to mention that the item is excluded from change of mind returns, etc. (this was at Michael Hill Onehunga).

    Absolutely horrible experience with this store and the manager. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! Extremely rude and lying manager. Both staff and manager offered no help when something goes wrong and once they’ve already made their commission. I purchased an engagement ring at this store and they knew I was leaving the country in 6 weeks. The manager told me that if the ring size was wrong I could exchange it or get store credit even after the 30 day return policy. We needed to order a new ring size after I proposed but we’re leaving the country in a week so it would come in time. We were 5 days after the 30 day return so they would not return the ring and told us to take it to Canada and exchange it there. This is completely false information given by the manager as Michael Hill Canada told us they would not exchange for the proper size since it is bought in another country. The manager and staff we fine leaving us with an oversized ring and not doing anything for us and ruining our engagement. Cannot express enough to stay away from this store and the untrustworthy, unprofessional manager that works there!

    St lukes branch had purchased online came in to pickup this morning roumd 10.00am, asked one of the staff I needed assistance she was with another customer which was understandable. But the nerve to say wait later bad customer service there.other than that had another staff that helped put she was lovely.

    Michael Hill St Lukes used to be a great store under the manager named Ollie, who took care of his customers. Under the new manager, I was spoken to rudely and given incorrect information about my purchase. Really disappointed. Won't be returning to this Michael Hill branch.

    The staff at this branch are very friendly and helpful and provide excellent customer service. I went to find the matching pendant and earring set, and they were able to get the item (pendant) sent to the store promptly.

    I am very unhappy with my purchase today. Shop assistant sold us rope chain that price not match with your website price(item number 15836892) She told me that she gave me discount from retail price $2299.00.and she is happy to gave me price $1638.90.but i just check your website and price on your website $1499.00 and 10%discount to online sale. I came home and just check she charge me $1499.00+139.90 for care plan that i never ask. . it is mean she charge me extra $289.80 .Can you please explain how this happen and why?     Loved my experience at the St Luke's branch, the team there were so extremely attentive, polite and not pushy at all.
