Extremely over priced for gold plated jewellery. The quality isn’t very good. The handmade earrings made in NZ are very budget looking. Most of the jewellery is manufactured in India. Cheap labour and a massive mark up back here. Robes, pillow cases etc are bought very cheaply in India, and sold here for ridiculous prices. There are do many NZ jewellers who have much better quality items I would say the items sold would be more suitable to be sold on Etsy! Definitely wouldn’t recommend buying from here due to the quality , cheap materials used and average quality EDIT - I have never spoken to, or engaged with Cathy Pope Jewellery before so no idea why she is accusing me of being mean and spiteful and having to block me? Maybe you need to look in the mirror to see who is the mean and spiteful one? I also note you edited your comment to a more polite one!

Cathy is an expert in her field, going into her boutique you really feel at home and that she can advise you on the right jewellry to suit your style and occasion. I went there before my wedding abd sge knew exactly what would suit my dress,vibe etc. It made things so much easier when I already felt so stressed! Had lots of compliments on the hecklace abd earrings and have been wearing them since!

I love Cathy Pope's jewellery designs and many pieces she sells for your home. I have TWO sets of the pillowcases she sources from India and use them daily. The material is of great quality and they are block printed by hand in India. There are many different patterns to choose from and brighten up your bedroom. I have so many of Cathy's jewellery pieces I can't list them. I discovered her NZ jewellery business in 2017 and treat myself to something special every birthday and Christmas. Her statement pieces are perfect to wear on special occasions AND every day. If you're new to CP, your first piece should totally be a chunky choker. I started my collection with a smokey quartz. Her unique earrings are always a talking point. Cathy is creative and often has one off necklaces, bracelets and earrings that she makes on small scale. I love that my jewellery is unique and not something anybody can buy at a large jewellery chain store. Crystals she makes jewellery of I particularly love include, smokey quartz, aquamarine, onyx, citrine, moss agate, aventurine to name a few. She also has a collection of recycled glass of absolute must have pieces. Buying online can feel tricky, but she offers studio visits/ open studio events where you can visit her studio in person (you book online on her website) to try on an item you've had your eye on and get styling advice from her. I'm a big fan <3

Cathy Pope is one of my favorite NZ jewellery designers! Her jewellery is top quality, well-made with gem stones, which are some of the best quality I've found in NZ. I like that her products are both stunning and affordable! A rare combination in NZ! She is also one of the nicest women I have met, when I went to her personal home studio to pick out some jewellery, she greeted me warmly, and was inviting and friendly, and helped educate me around the pieces and allowed me to try them on to find the right fit. I can't wait to go back again!

Big fan of Cathy Pope here in the US! So happy to have discovered her work from a photo of Jacinda Ardern wearing one of her rings. I've since ordered quite a few pieces (including that gorgeous ring!) and even had the pleasure of meeting her in person at her studio during a visit to Auckland. Amazing jewellery! There is a great selection through different product tiers and there is something for everyone. I especially love the Flox and Cathy Pope collaborations (top tier). Cathy Pope has a classic bold and colourful style in many of her designed products. Indian made jewellery is wonderfully crafted and is part of their long standing cultural tradition. (Many high-end New Zealand jewellery designers off set their productions to different parts of the world to places like Bali and India. Artisan jewellers are highly skilled in these regions and their skills have been passed down generations). Cathy Pope Jewellery makes you feel amazing!

I'm a fairly new convert over 2021/2022 and love the statement rings - I have 4 and a few more on my Wishlist, plus many pairs of earring, necklaces and a bracelet. The products are always packaged beautifully, arrive quickly, and you feel special wearing them. Her rings seem to just settle nicely on the finger, and have a cool vibe. I'm sure I'll be collecting for years to come.

I love Cathy's pieces. I have a few now and all of them are strong, have lovely stones or glass, are beautifully packaged, and I feel happy wearing them. I was lucky enough to win a gorgeous labradorite pendant, which has been admired by many. Cathy is great to deal with too. She's prompt, friendly and helpful.

I’ve been wearing Cathy Pope pieces for a number of years now and absolutely love them. Worth every cent, but the cents are very good value! Her designs are strong, elegant and always receive compliments and comments when I am out and about here in NZ and travelling. Cathy is so responsive and kind, completely professional, it’s a joy to visit her studio and see the attention, care and quality in every piece. I love the versatility and styling input she offers too, encouraging us to be bold, playful and expressive with layering and customising her pieces for our own style.
