Medical group

😠 My rating is based on my interaction with the receptionist through one phone call. The receptionist was not warm or welcoming. Her attitude was disrespectful and made me, the patient, feel like there was something wrong with me, using phrases like “so I still don’t know what you’re asking”. People often mention receptionist, appointment, staff, rude, medical, months,

I rung to make an appointment after being referred by my GP this morning and the receptionist was so rude I burst into tears on the phone, she told me not to get upset I am not the only person who has migraines. Disgusting behaviour for someone working in a medical environment. The specialists might be fine but I won’t be finding out.

This review is based on the receptionist for dr patel calles Liz. When we call the peofessional Dr practice who we pay $500 per hour to see, we EXPECT TO TALK TO PROFESSIONALS. Instead we get this grumpy old lady who cannot even answer your querries. Can i just say you need to quit your job. You are pathetic and dontknow how to do your job. You sound grumpy and rude and dontknow how to talk to the customers that pay you. We have waited to for months for you to rectify the issues with my daughters appointment , and you try and call me this morning and sigh on the phone when i question your work ethics. I hope you realised the wrath of your unprofessionalism this morning. RETIRE ALREADY AND ENJOY THE COVID LOCKDOWN BEING GRUMPY FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF YOUR WALL. **This is no reflection to Dr Patels awesome work though** i really wish you read this Dr Patel and find someone else to sort your appointments Sincerely Remi

A pediatrician, specifically Dr Anne Tait, REFUSED to see my daughter because I had not been vaccinated yet, even though I made it clear that I would have a NEGATIVE COVID-19 test 24 hours before the appointment. This is inhumane and goes completely against the ethics, oath and professionalism of medicine. Not to mention the rude way your reception treats your clients or patients. This is against the law, I hope they reflect on it and don't do it with other people, maybe that's because I'm an immigrant

Saw neurologist, Mark Simpson. Our booking was messed up by the receptionist, yet somehow this was our fault. (We had been waiting 5 months for the consultation, why would we be happy to wait another 2?) Mark rushed us through, clearly annoyed at the booking error, but for some reason deciding to take it out on us with his unprofessional, and hurried consultation that we were then charged full price for. He was then further put out, when two weeks after the MRI scan and no results, we phoned to find out what was going on. Yet after phoning the receptionist, he rang immediately with the results. Why someone in his position would play games with a patient seeking results to ongoing chronic pain and fatigue is simply unfathomable. Mark is obviously someone who has trained for a qualified roll in society. He should have chosen accounting where no one would care for his appalling bed side manner.

Most certainly no expert knowledge here. Insufficient, inherently rude staff. They not only were slow in responding to my appointment request but got my appointment date and time mixed up. What a nightmare to deal with. The doctors there don't have the expert knowledge or expertise you would expect nor do they listen. I would most certainly not recommend this specialist group in Auckland. Not very good COVID practices either. I would not recommend Dr Rosamund Hill a real time waster , not worth your money or time. Most certainly not educated in the areas you would expect. The copied and pasted response to each complaint is from the exact person everyone is complaining about, the same admin staff complained about in all other complaints. No complaint would every be heard or resolved. Stay away if you can. I imagine any positive reviews are fake.

Great and professional service from the doctors but receptionist is way too serious and very old school. A good chance that your first impression on the visit could be adversely impacted. As Auckland is short of Neurological specialists, guess we just have to put up with this. Handy location, sufficient parking spaces. As it is nearby school, expect terrible traffic congestions during peak hours. Before 9am and after 230pm. They also send you a copy of doctors note afterwards which is a nice rough and keeping things transparent. Would recommend this place if one looks beyond the receptionist.

The receptionist Liz is problematic, negating arrangements made between clients and other reception staff before speaking to that staff member. Shel expect a response to a text within two hours and if not will call you. I’ve previously placed feedback about interactions with this staff member.. basically what ive been instructed to do by someone else is wrong and she has rung me the day before to change the arrangement. Its unnecessary when you have been being seen by this office for years the appointments cost the same and have always been paid the same. They over complicate the process. We just want to get to the treatment and streamline the admin please! If the insurance company has looked at the treatment plan and said yes. That is all the pre approval you need Liz. If the appointments need to be pre-paid then dont take a month to send us the quote to get it paid. Minimal assistance and minimal email response with this office.

In my honest opinion: avoid all dealings with Dr Rakesh Patel. This man blatantly lied on our Maori Disabled Son's medical files, in an attempt to cover up the medical assault and negligence of his colleagues. It raises serious red flags that a man like this would specilaise in the medical care of children, yet clearly have no regard for their wellbeing. Do not trust him, he is money hungry and culturally unsafe. It is appaling that Dr Patel and his colleagues have taken advantage of our son, one of NZ's most vulnerable (a Disabled Maori Child).

Had an appointment yesterday to see Dr Dean Kilfoyle for a Nerve Study a very nice and friendly man, which cannot be said for the women I spoke to a week before to arrange my appointment who was rude uncaring and when I said I was in extreme pain rudly pointed out we see lots of people in extreme pain which is not what you want to hear, almost sounds like the same person other people have mentioned, if so she is way over due looking for a new job. But over all excellent service and a very nice young lady on reception.

Yesterday I wrote an honest review of how Rosamond Hill was supposed to be seeing me about migraines of course this medical centre removed it, no one is bothered by the countless bad treatment it gives us clients or how many write about it, they don't care about the damage to families they do, but will let their staff be rude ignorant and grossly incompetent. In 30 minutes I was told nothing about my migraines but say i have no brain injury, then 3 months later send ACC a 3 page waffle about how she had no reports and ACC had wrong info sent to her, she did no exam on me but got paid for her gross incompetence, of course she went on to say how she was so experienced, now ACC has to send me to another person for a proper evaluation, no doubt this review will be removed as well. But her report is seen by other professionals and Rosamund can't delete that.

Would not recommend to anyone. Complete lack of general care and professionalism shown through my dealings with Dr Mark Simpson and others involved with my case. I have been blatantly lied to on multiple occasions regarding my case and regarding work/efforts that have been promised to be done on my case. It has taken months of multiple phone calls following up trying to get answers, being told over and over again “we don’t have any record of what you’re asking about…oh wait, it is here”, to “oh, I thought that was done already, please wait another week or two, we’ll follow up now and either we or the other party involved will be in contact with you (etc)”. To then find that nothing has been done at all after I finally got in contact with the other parties that they were meant to be liaising with. Especially concerning/ disappointing when he is well aware of how crucial it is for these things to be taken care of for me to be able to return to work.

The doctor is professional. The receptionist (Jordan) is unacceptable. I was asking simple questions, not only she not treating me with respect, but also responded like I am a stupid person.

Dr Yap has been an amazing, caring, and experienced paediatrician for our son. We've always had an excellent experience over the past few years. Thank you!

This clinic knows about the issue with a staff member making false medical reports for ACC but are unable to do anything. the staff member in question has done this to a number of people. In my case she guessed my head injury following a 140kph head on car crash was a result of being addicted to pain killers. I went to the addiction clinic and that could not possibly the case. She has been made aware of my ongoing issues but refuses to correct her mistake

I went there last week and everything went really smooth. After reading all comments below I was not looking forward to dealing with the reception staff but they were actually very nice. Dr Ros Hill was kind, knowagable and super efficient. Happy to go back for more treatment soon! :)
