My name is Henry Lee. I am 71 years old. I am currently on weekly treatment (Carbo, Taxol and Keytruda) at the Canopy with Dr. Richard Sullivan (Rich). Having been diagnosed with a stage IV squamous aggressive Lung Cancer in Feb 2019. Before I started the treatment in March, Tumours have spread all around in my left & right Lung. The biggest tumour was around 10cm in my left Lung (at the central, side of airway). I had less than six months of life expectancy at that time. Rich made an amazing treatment plan (including timing of radiation). CT scan after second cycle showed that the biggest tumour has been shrunk to about 3cm and all small tumours that were located in my right and left lung were completely GONE. I just finished my third cycle last week. Rich is charismatic and confident man. He was listening every single question that we asked and answering delivered with such a good humour and compassion to all our questions during first consultation which gave us trust. After the initial consultation, we have decided to do all treatment at the Canopy even though we could do chemo at the public. It has taken me a long time to write this review as I am really not sure what words can accurately describe the support, advice and professional care you provided me at Canopy, and how I can really ever express how grateful I am for the care and attention of a team associated with this organisation. They are so friendly, cheerful and caring professionals. Team at the Canopy are absolutely marvellous. Thank you very much to team (including Rich and all staffs) at Canopy for all that you do and continue to do for me and for others.

The team at Canopy Cancer Care have been absolutely marvellous. My wife and I cannot praise them enough. Having been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer - and with a prognosis of months at the outset - the team turned this grim prospect on its head. Two and a half years later, the cancer has been shrunk to about 10% of its original mass and I am symptom free ... and enjoying life! At the first appointment, Dr Richard Sullivan lifted our spirits and, more importantly, gave us hope. So what we needed then!! From this incredibly positive start, Dr Sullivan (β€˜Rich’ as he asks his patients to name him) developed a treatment programme that has been nothing short of miraculous ... and is delivered with such good humour, compassion, empathy and involvement. So much so, that we actually look forward to our 3-weekly appointments at the Clinic as they have evolved into being lively, humorous, family get togethers. Importantly, we are so impressed at how β€˜Rich’ keeps himself, and his team, so well versed in the latest developments in oncological care. The support staff at Canopy Cancer Care are a truly amazing team. Thank you one and all for all that you do and continue to do for us and for others.

This is my second visit at Canopy Care (unfortunately!) and the staff are still fabulous. As always, my oncologist has a great mix of being kind and caring, without being patronising, and yet extremely professional - all at the same time. A small delay in getting results (through no fault of Canopy) was handled diligently by the team. The support staff are friendly and helpful, responding immediately to emails and calls. Very highly recommended.

Despite being very anxious at my first appointment we had a very warm welcome at reception and the appointment with my hematologist was very reassuring, he was very thorough with explaining my situation and the process of it all, I came away feeling I am in the best hands and have a great sense of hope and support.

The care, information and treatment I received was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Canopy Cancer Care and my Oncologist Dr Naera Waters.

I feel compelled to write this. I saw Naera last week. Im not sure what more she could have done to make me feel heard, cared about and overall extremely well looked after. She took such care to answer all our questions (myself, partner and daughter), without us feeling rushed or that anything we asked was any trouble. Thank you Naera, you made, an inevitably scary time, feel a whole lot safer.
