Ok
so
this
is
a
long
one
but
feel
its
important
especially
when
dealing
with
paitent
results.
I
had
gone
in
to
get
a
mole
checked
and
have
some
bloods
done
then
waited
for
results.
For
context-
I'm
a
youngish
male,
5ft-10,
73kg
with
a
30inch
pant
size
(this
will
make
sense)
and
reasonably
active.
While
waiting
for
the
results
I
had
one
missed
call
from
the
clinic
so
I
called
back
to
be
put
through
to
someone
who
can
give
me
results
over
the
phone,
I
was
told
they
will
put
me
on
a
"call-back
list".
The
following
day
I
received
a
call
from
a
'nurse'
(Nurse-
A)
who
had
my
results
(i
had
NOT
had
any
consultation
with
nurse-
A
and
she
had
never
seen
me)
she
then
informs
me
of
ANOTHER
nurse
or
Doctor
(Nurse-
B)
who
i
had
never
met
or
had
any
consultation
with;
had
placed
a
footnote
on
my
file
suggesting
I
make
some
"lifestyle
changes".
Nurse-A
tells
me
my
cholesterol
was
slightly
high
and
asked
me
if
perhaps
I
like
eating
burgers
and
McDonald's,
to
which
I
replied
no.
She
then
suggested
perhaps
I
like
sugary
foods
and
soft
drinks,
to
which
I
reply
"no
I'm
on
a
ketogenic
diet
for
seven
months
now
and
I've
lost
8kg
in
5
months"
she
then
informed
me
"well
the
results
don't
lie"
and
perhaps
I
"haven't
lost
any
weight
and
these
levels
are
those
of
obese
people,
im
not
saying
you
are
but.."
to
which
I
got
extremely
irritated.
I
then
asked
her
to
cross-reference
my
current
results
with
results
of
my
last
visit
and
turned
out
my
cholesterol
had
gone
DOWN
along
with
my
weight.
I
tried
to
keep
things
light
with
Nurse-A
until
She
then
informed
me
perhaps
the
"nurse"
who
made
the
footnote
(Nurse-B)
had
got
results
mixed
up.
Bare
in
mind
I
never
once
saw
Nurse.A
or
Nurse.B
when
I
went
in,
in
fact
I
saw
no
nurse
at
all,
just
the
receptionist
and
then
the
doctor
called
me
in
to
the
examination
room,
had
the
consult
and
I
left.
During
the
conversation
with
Nurse-A
she
was
very
condescending
and
wouldn't
listen
to
what
i
was
trying
to
tell
her.
Turned
out
Nurse.B
was
an
Indian
man
who
was
perhaps
a
Doctor
who
id
never
met
(?)
-According
to
a
receptionist.
Also
While
i
was
on
the
call
to
Nurse-A
the
SAME
CLINIC
was
trying
to
ring
through
to
my
phone,
they
then
called
back
after
the
call
with
Nurse-A
and
i
explained
the
situation
and
asked
for
the
doctor
who
had
seen
me
or
the
person
who
had
done
the
potential
mix
up
to
call
me
to
clarify
things,
i
was
told
they'd
call
back
within
an
hour...
that
was
five
hours
ago.
Completely
ridiculous
and
dangerous
considering
this
is
patient
files
and
results.
They
need
to
get
their
stuff
together
this
is
unacceptable
and
dangerous
considering
the
excuse
for
all
of
this
was
a
flippant
"oh
maybe
she
got
results
mixed
up"
Unbelievable.
