Not recommended The Fono Medical. I’ve been to a GP a few times before. Would never go again. Since had misdiagnosis experience with an Indian doctor several months ago. And one of the receptionist was so rude. Disappointed. However, The Fono Dental is nice.

Good doctors, spacious waiting area and friendly staff. Not very expensive. The lift is out of order most of order. The clinic is located in old building thus lifts are also age old (both main bldg and alternate lift). Difficult for disabled, though chair is available. We experienced difficulties in getting the phone line which are usually busy but keep trying after sometime or leave message.

I had some appointments in the early morning and Dr. Sherin was on time. In addition, she was polite and professional. She explained about dental treatment step by step that was wise, informative and convincing.

I am really disappointed with the dental service. I have checked up my wisdom teeth on 4 December 2020 which was extremely painful to me I can't eat my food and gums are getting infected but after check up they did phone call and they want to book appointments for extraction of teeth in next year even the date is not fixed. How it could be patient is dying now and the treatment is next year.? Now I have to switch next dental clinic and again have to go for check up and x-ray which is cost me double expenses

Dr Mowafaq Amso was excellent, he made me feel relax during the examination and provided a detail plan. I have indeed found my Dentist !

The nurses here are great & super friendly - GPs have a high turnover - but the administration is abysmal. I've been going here for 5 years and encountered numerous issues. The latest is that after I found out my name wasn't registered correctly with MoH and asked the practice, who did the registration at the time, to correct that, they apparently found out that the documentation I provided when I signed up has gone AWOL, and therefore they've changed me to non-resident rates. Not my fault you can't do administration. I'm registered as a resident with MoH (after I had that info corrected 4 years ago) so how about the clinic just checks that? If I hadn't asked them to correct my name they wouldn't even have found out despite several visits over the years. EDIT: removing a star after the below response; I was promised a callback several times before writing this review but it never happened.

We have received professional dentistry of the highest caliber from Fono Dentist Mariam Anwar and Assistant Dentist Patrick. The composite veneers are absolutely fabulous thanks to Mariam's brilliant workmanship. She is so gentle the extraction was also painless. She is very informative and warm. Reception staff were also great. The whole experience was amazing and affordable!

Amazing dental experience with Dr Aisha Ali. Cannot recommend her enough!!! And the team at the front desk were amazing and friendly. Will definitely be going back for future dental appointments.

Miriam is the best dentist. Don't bother going to anyone else, you'll be disappointed compared to her. If you are pain sensitive, she is safe to see. Even if you're not, she is still the best choice. She is warm and friendly, professional, informative, helpful and most importantly, gentle, careful and thorough. Good dentists are like good hair dressers - once you find a great one, you remain loyal - this dentist is worth your loyalty.

I'd been seeing a different doctor in a different clinic and struggled for 5 years with that doctor's care-where my blood sugars were concerned. It was very worrying for me. The diet you suggested for me Dr Redwood, at our initial consult end of last year 2022, has been miraculous. Your care has taken me from high risk to now being able to feel secure in my blood sugar health for the first time in 5 years. It was very scary and you helped me. Thank you so much.

I like that the Fono is a one stop shop for a various services and has professionals that can help on a wide range of well-being fronts and unlike many other health providers, their prices aren’t astronomical. The medical practitioners are all genuinely caring and will actually talk you through things and answer questions rather than just racing quickly through one problem.

I have been a patient here for over 6 years and so have my family members. I’m sick of the unprofessionalism from admin and am transferring to another clinic. GPs are fine. Administration need to be re-evaluated immediately and replaced with better trained admin staff. I do not recommend this establishment at all especially if you are an ongoing patient. Admin put you in more difficult and vulnerable positions than you are already in due to their lack of training and concern for patients. They don’t understand the concept of sense of urgency whatsoever. Even during quiet periods/pre COVID, I have had numerous occasions of admin not getting back to me regarding my repeats or questions and are rude/dismissive when confronted about these issues.

This review is only pointed to the receptionists they are both arrogant bold face liars and rude, when I arrived for appointment I asked to see the nurse after I've seen the doctor, another patient walk in 15 minutes after my arrival, yet he get to see the nurse first. I questioned why he got go see the nurse first, when he arrived later than me? In an aggressive manner both in unison the receptionists lied so boldly to my face that the man asked to see the nurse first, the fact that I saw and heard the other doctor just told them, to let the man be seen by the nurse. The doctors are great but the both receptionists are shameless liars!!!

Today I visited Dr Olga for dental hygiene and cleaning. I was really impressed by the service, care and professionalism. I 100 percent recommend this dental service. I left the clinic very satisfied and happy 😃🌹👍💐🙏🌸🙏

Well it all began here in a positive fashion ,dr Rebecca is lovely but I had the misfortune to be put with nurse Sally who is the most aggressive bully Ive ever witnessed as a nurse ...I was not listened to at all ,this motormouth just talked continuously and I tried to get a word in...no chance of that ...I thought that a nurse /patient interaction is a two way conversation...not with Sally it isn't . Then I said that I refuse to have any vaccinations due to bad reactions to two different ones and she tried to bully me again ...wrong target though as I don't bow down to bullies ,I am not anti -vax, I am pro choice...I have no family and I make my choice for myself only . I also told her that I have no contact with my birth family up north ,again she tried a bullying approach,again she failed miserably because I am a 60 year old who makes my own decisions on this stuff ....I have absolutely no interest in reestablish ing contact with my ex birth family...maggots ! Finally,at my last official visit to the clinic I was subjected to what I believe was an extremely distressing upsetting and gross sexual gesture towards me by a man who comes to the clinic bit I think is not an employee of the clinic. I tried to lay a complaint about this situation and I tried to get in contact with the big boss woman who is called Maureen I think but she was too gutless spineless and weak willed to front up urgently and deal with this Issue. I also asked for the video footage to be viewed independently as I didn't trust that in-house people to look at this ,I was refused this reasonable request that had left me to quit this doctors clinic...I'm extremely angry and disappointed with this situation....Ive getting better healthcare elsewhere...thank goodness' for that.....I just wish that I didn't have to give the fono one star as it's more than it deserves quite frankly 🤮🤬

2023 Oral health therapist OLGA- Is very professional and skilled, top to bottom. Cannot recommend them more highly. OLGA is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. Thank you Olga. 2018, (My new Dentist Dr Mariam) The best Dental Care we have ever had. Great atmosphere and the best Dentist I have ever had Dr Mariam. Dr Mariam is a very professional and assuring Dentist. I’m glad that I met the Fono and extremely happy to call Dr Mariam my new Dentist. Dr Mariam makes my Dental visits something to look forward to, instead of being afraid of having sore teeth from previous Dentists at other places. Well done Dr Mariam, thank you very much and thanks to the Fono team.
