Lung and Selva are the best GPs we've ever visited. Both are extremely knowledgable, however, it's their compassion and care for their patients that makes Grafton Medical Centre so much better than anywhere else. It's all the little things they do to go above and beyond. From the time we ran in with a small dental emergency and Lung dropped everything to do what he could to help (he's obviously not a dentist), and didn't even charge us for his time. To the time we consulted the nurse about travel vaccinations and left with a first aid kit worth of supplies. And we've never 'run out of time' or felt rushed, unlike our experiences at other clinics. I'd highly recommend Grafton Medical to everyone.

Have been to Grafton Medical once before as it is local to my work and I required an injection urgently. Great service, they are helpful and transparent. I have just contacted them again, as the clinic I am enrolled with (Stanmore Bay Medical) has not been helpful or transparent. And once again they have been great!! Helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend. Patients health comes first at this clinic rather than your $$

I am so glad that I choose this clinic and Dr lung is the best family doctor I have met. I don’t know how to express my appreciation. Dr lung is really caring and approachable. You can feel that he is always work extra mile for the patient and really care about your health. I definitely love the service and staff. I won’t change my GP even I have moved to north shore and definitely recommend it!

Honestly the best GP I have ever been to, all of the nurses and reception staff are so personable and friendly. Dr. Lung Choi always went above and beyond for me, with things like getting me to the best specialist, provided regular updates and all staff had very thorough communication through their health portal. I have been a patient of Grafton Medical Centre for the past 10 months now. It is close to work and just so convenient for me. The staff are compassionate and very welcoming. I have seen Dr. Lung Choi since joining the practice and have found him to be very thorough and made me feel comfortable from the start. I have been a patient of Dr Lung since the start of 2021, and have received nothing but the top-level of care. He really embodies the level of attention to detail that you hope to expect from someone in General Practice, and he goes out of his way to ensure the needs of his patients are met. We have been a patient for about a year now and we couldn’t be happier. We relocated from the South Island and we were very lucky to find Dr. Lung. He’s the most professional and caring doctor I’ve personally dealt with in NZ. He’s very open minded, always makes you feel comfortable and he’s always willing to help. For me the main thing is that he refers you to get further studies done when needed and he doesn’t rush a diagnosis, he investigates, he listens and for me that’s very very important when it comes to a GP. The entire team is lovely, Juniper is so professional and welcoming, Karyn is lovely and she’s knows what’s she’s doing. The communication is great. They have ManageMyHealth app where you can see your test results, referrals, prescriptions, appointments, etc. The location is great, there’s always parking. We are extremely grateful and happy with the entire team and the services they provide :)

Dr. Lung is the best! My uni doctor sent me to him after I finished uni because I am very uncomfortable in medical settings and I need a clinic who understands that. This has been the best clinic for me and I have never felt the need to look anywhere else. I could say a lot more about how great this clinic is, but that really sums it up.

I have recently transferred as a patient to Grafton Medical under Dr Selva. I have been totally impressed by Dr Selva’s care and thoroughness and his overall professional kindness the rest of the practice is excellent. I can’t recommend Dr Selva and Grafton Medical highly enough.

While I found Dr Lung a good GP in the beginning (and when he first started his practice) which was when we joined him, lately I had found issues with his approach and so have now changed doctor. My first concern was when he recommended a change in my asthma medication for environmental reasons rather than to improve my asthma control. The evidence he provided to tell me that my inhaler was bad for CO 2 levels was ridiculous! And he also told me that the aluminium canisters were polluting. This is not my reason for going to a GP and personally I do not believe we have issues with man-made climate change. One of the reasons we chose Dr Chung was that he had a speciality in skin (not a specialist but had done extra study in this area). In the beginning he was happy to provide a skin check service for me and he found a minor issue which was treatable with a cream. When a follow-up was required he told my husband and I we should go to a private skin specialist now. When I asked why he recommended this change I was told "As finance is not an issue for you I think it's best to go to a skin specialist". I had never discussed my finances with Dr Lung and nor is it appropriate to treat a patient based on your perception of their finances. Lastly I found that Dr Lung was not always fair in his fees. If you were 5 mins over on a half hour appt you were charged extra but if you came for a quick follow-up check that took maybe 5 mins you would be charged for a 15 minute appt. There does need to be some flexibility I feel.

Everyone at this practice was amazing. Dr Lung always went above and beyond no matter what the issue was. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks for looking after my whānau and myself.

One of the best GP I've been to. Modern set up with a young helpful team. Dr Lung is always so forth coming with explanations back by literature which he emails on the spot!

I had an incident here with a nurse doing vaccinations, will spare the details but I was contacted and personally dealt with, with the GP owner who handled it very well. Was unimpressed at first but the speedy response and well handling of the situation was appreciated.

Our family have been and continue to be so well looked after by the Grafton Medical team. The admin staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the nurses are amazing with our young children especially, and the doctors are fantastic. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of GP, thanks team.
