Had my Molemap done by these guys instead of my regular outfit, and found them to be far more professional, experienced, and thorough. Everything they were looking at was blown up live on the big screen so I could understand and be educated as they went through the skin inspection, and I felt really empowered to keep an eye on things myself better between visits. The online booking process was simple and well organized, and I'll be back again for my next checkup. The fact that if they found any skin cancer they could quickly remove it at the same clinic, was really reassuring despite not needing anything this time :)

i have not been to other skin clinics but service was good, however was surprised to find out that Southern Cross do not classify them as specialist hence yearly claim is limited. had excision done and the balance amount that could not be claimed by Southern Cross had to be out of pocket, that is the only downside. At the time of payment when i queried why the full amount could not be claimed through Southern Cross the person could not advise instead told me to use the invoice to submit a claim to Southern Cross separately and I subsequently realized there was a yearly claim limit since the surgery was performed by a GP, not specialist.

I had a mole mapping done by Stacey at NZ Skin Health. She was very knowledgable, and professional. I felt comfortable the entire time. I was given home care advice around looking after my skin in the years to come to prevent further damage as well as what to look out for. Lots of skin cancer prevention information was given that I had no idea about, so thanks very much!
