A great beach for a quick swim. Not the nicest beach in the shore that’s why 4 stars. Sand is not soft nor tidy. This got a nice coastal walkway. But I would pick long bay over this anytime. Ok for a quick visit if you are nearby. Not worth the visit if you are not a local.

Very popular beach for the locals. There is a wharf which is good for a short walk to have a better view. There is a walkway to the cliff. There is also a public toilet.

Another nice flat sandy beach on the North Shore. Surf life saving club currently receiving building maintenance. 5-6 fileted fish carcasses in tide line, the seagulls were having a good feed. Tried to brave the ocean for a swim & got hip deep, not brave enough to fully submerge, lastex ten minutes yet felt numb with the cold.

Great view and good to walk! If you go this place when the weather is good, then you’ll have an amazing day with chill and enjoy the beach :)

An electric BBQ stove is available for complimentary use. The locale attracts individuals engaging in various activities such as kayaking, walking their dogs, swimming, jogging, and more. Despite being less crowded than other renowned beaches, this beautiful destination is an excellent choice for a leisurely day.

One of my and Molly's favourite beaches to go to for our morning walk! Quite a bit quieter than the other beaches in the area, and we love that!

Mairangi Bay Beach is one of our favourite beaches on North Shore. It turns out to be a hidden gem! It’s the first time we have visited there on 3/2/2024 and we happened to fall in love with it. The water there was so clean and crystal clear. That’s why there were quite a number of people swimming, fishing and taking a stroll with their dogs along the beach while it’s at low tide period. We highly recommend you to visit there as you will definitely love this beautiful beach.

Excellent beach for swimming, tanning, walking ! Gorgeous views on a nice way! Must take a walk once the tide is low. Interesting geological structures! There is a parking lot but it is very small! Near buy a plaza with shops if you need a snack. This is my fav beach in Auckland!

Beautiful beach

Water is usually very clear, safe and relaxing. Perfect little ravine for toddlers and babies to splash in.

I think this quite a cool little beach, namely for the interesting, sidewalk-sized rock pathways on both sides that take you around the coast. Street as well as a smaller gravel parking area. Lifeguards on duty and the ice cream truck also comes by haha.

Very nice beach gets crowded on a hot day.main shops around the corner. Small playground. Boat ramp.

The times need to be changed. I arrive on Saturday at 8 am and the place is still closed. Pretty sad.

Nice beach. Busy in summer. Sand is fine. You can walk to other nearby beaches using the connecting walkways
