It's my favorite track amazing view, beach and walkways next to the sea. You start walking in Murray's Bay beach. return in around 1 hour is such relax track. Highly recommend.

Nice beach but some interesting characters hanging out there - I'm not sure if that's normal or not. One young guy was abusing other visitors to the wharf in a pretty shocking and racist way, telling them to go back where they came from or he'd cut their heads off - ruined what would have been a lovely visit.

Great little beach within walking distance to Mairangi Bay and other beaches. The jetti is fun to jump off and you can watch the activities going on in the sailing club. Need to bring umbrella etc for shade as the only natural shade provided by the trees is off the beach on the grass.

Perfect beach for a small picnic with friends and families. Water was not so wild and the temperature was also perfect for swimming and other activities.

Just such a quiet serene beach. But the walkway between Murray’s and Mairangi is what makes this place just so beautiful. I enjoyed the walk on water experience at high tide. Stormy, low or high tide, early morning or late in the afternoon, the views are stunning.

Love this beach, it has toilets, an outdoor shower, a pier to jump off or fish, changing rooms available onsite. The beach is nice and sandy, there is also a smaller pond sheltered for the kiddies to swim on the right for safety. Our family had a picnic here and loved that all amenities were available and beach was close.. Found no issues here at all, it's clean to swim in and close to town. Will definitely be back and we'll down council and residents in the area keeping it clean

Beautiful beach to swim at very clean water the wharf is our fav always jumping off and making memories with our kids. High tide is the best time to swim.

Murray's Bay is a quiet and pretty landscape space. It's a place where you feel calm when you look at the sunrise in the morning, and when you see children sailing after school, you feel happy in the laughter. It's like my own hideout where you can buy coffee and look at the ocean

Nice beach. It has a nice walkway around the side that connects two beaches.

Great walk for the kids and dogs. An easy beach to beach stroll. Be aware of higher tides the waves do jump up and get ya lol.

Beach is so lovely and busy on a Saturday. Sailing club looks like it is a whole lot of fun.

This place has such great views of rangitoto island , it's also a very busy fishing place along the walkway bridge and a popular place for bombing. There also a great walkway from along the coast going from beach to beach when it's low tide. Try it on a lovely day, very refreshing :)

It's nice enough and the wharf is good to jump or fish off but if you're looking for a beach or place by the beach to hang out then mairangi Bay, Campbells Bay and Rothesay Bay are only minutes away and much nicer

Beautiful beach walk and going to the pier and looking out to see is food for the soul after a hard day's work. They have clen and modern public toilets that is a great starting point

Love this beach and the scenery it provides. It has a lovely walk along the rocks along to Mairangi Bay beach. Great beach to swim at too and has the wharf to jump off :)

Lovely beach. Gets a bit crowded so can be difficult to maintain distance during lockdown. Great clifftop walks between bays

Great spot for swimming and hanging on the beach and the jetty is the best spot on the North Shore to pop Manus and backies into the water. Soo good on a hot summers day.

Stunning sunrise and enjoyable walk along the concrete natural walkway connecting several beaches. Never been here before pleasantly surprised

When we were here the waves were perfect for body boarding but it’s generally a calm beach. There are plenty of tables and benches and grass areas for picnics.

👍👍 This is great mid way stop on the walk to Browns bay. The improvements to the pond are looking good and the new over the water walkway is going to only improve a great family friendly park. Feed the ducks, have a picnic let the kids play in the playground. Just a great place to be.

👍 It was our first time here and loved the little walking tracks. We didn't really plan well on where to go but found it relatively easy to navigate. Great for kids. Paths are fairly well constructed, although in winter might be slippery in places. At times you feel like you are in thick bush, far awa...
