Visited the park for the first time when they had a free event for children. Really loved it. It's not big, but has enough space for the kids to run around, there is a free BBQ facility, public toilets and picnic tables. Great view as well.

A small park, secluded and peaceful. Love the view of the lake.. we were the only family having a picnic. Just needs frequent maintenance and sanitation, many rubbish around..

Great spot to learn to windsurf, enjoy a picnic in the park, walk your dog or simply just chill watching the swans.

One of the parks that has access to lake Pupuke. I came to try windboarding. The park itself has quite a large area but it didn't take long to walk around it. There is a little path that goes around the front of the lake. The is also a walkway which was clsoed during the bird breeding season. The park has quite a lot of trees and benches so it was nice to just sit there in the shade and watch the people on the water.

Good view of Lake Pupuke and clean public toilets . Good place to have a family Barbie.

Nice small park. Downside is, despite the sign, some people let their pet dog off the leash, leaving poop around the park, or disturbing people on picnic for food.

Magic, relaxing location beside the lake. Swans gliding through the water make this place special.

Great launching spot for the sailing dinghy, shame about the commercial interest that thinks he has the exclusive use of the ramp

I went there with a group of friends for a nature morning the kids loved exploring. It is a beautiful setting.

Great spot for a picnic or water sports in the heart of Milford/Takapuna. But watch out for the swan poo :-)

My boyfriend and I come here every year on the 28th of April to celebrate our anniversary. I love the lush greenery and picturesque look out to the lake. It's a very romantic place to have a picnic with your love and see the swans on a nice sunny day in Autumn. This place has a lot of sweet memories I hold close to my heart.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great park and dog beach with excellent drink fountain for dog and good toilet facility. A favourite swimming beach with dog in summer, lovely for a walk and ball game in winter. Thanks to 'Blake' (see photo) for installing rubbish bin beside stairway. Great idea.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Castor Bay Beach Reserve seems a quite popular spot for swimmers. My husband and I went to Castor Bay Beach Reserve for a relaxing stroll. We saw some people swimming and fishing there while others enjoyed their stroll along the beach. It worths a visit when you drive past Castor Bay next time.
