Went in with a general idea what scooter I wanted for simple trips, with help from their website. The guys in store were super knowledgeable and helpful in explaining things to me as I'm clueless on e scooters. I really appreciated them letting me and my partner take a spin on two of the scooters. I feel comfortable knowing that I can go back to them if I need any help with my purchases.

Brought a Kaabo Mantis 10 from here in January. Had great service on the day, discussed what I would be using the scooter for and they suggested a few options which I could then test ride around the area. I had a model in mind but after talking through the differences and test riding I ended up purchasing a different one that now, after commuting over 1000kms in 4 months, I know was the right choice. During this period I had one flat tyre and another issue caused by me, both times I have had quick responses to my queries (even from Kieran at 8pm) and fair priced repairs/parts. Have recommended to friends in person and thought I would share on here too. Thanks!

Sent these guys some pics of my VSETT 9+ after being hit by a car. Based off just the pictures, they were able to accurately quote the repairs needed, and it wasn't very expensive at all. Extremely impressed with the work done on my scooter - I was expecting it to come back still pretty scratched up but functional, but these guys have gone the extra mile and it looks almost new. Awesome work. Only thing holding back from a full 5 stars was communication was a little spotty - seemed like they were very busy, which, after seeing the quality of the work, I understand completely. 4.5/5, would definitely shop here or get repairs here again.

Long way from West Auckland but worth the trip. Had what I wanted in mind but I feel like they would've done their best to find the right scooter for those who didn't. Andrew was thorough, setting up and showing me how everything works. On site parking and room to test ride. Staff are perfectly friendly.

Purchased a Vsett 10+ From Electric scooter shop on Jan 31 Received Tracking on 9th Feb Arrived 14th not the fastest. The communication is where they really let me down they have not replied to many of my emails forcing me to call instead to get answers from them after they took my money. Had a fault with the display module gave them a call easy to get diagnosed and approved for new parts. Despite being told its in stock and waiting for the courier to collect it I have no evidence of the item being sent and doubt the courier would miss 4 days from a business collecting items. Would expect more communication when purchasing an expensive ride to work which now I have to use the car while it sits on the workbench. PS: The scooter itself is great nice and sturdy frame and great range shame about the common Controller issues according to facebook. UPDATE: They replied to me turns out the couriers are not scanning things on collection arrived and resolved my issue.

Most amazing team!! Spent a good few hours learning everything possible to get the best e scooter for price, took the recommendation of which one to purchase for our budget and have an extremely happy young adult! I even had a go on it today!!! And didn't injury myself lol

Vsett8 have done 2500ks walking the dog(Hunterway) as I need hip replacement no 27k for op. I'm 105kg the stem buckled the board as front screws broke over speed humps. Have steel plated the stem back to top board using the internal screws and nothing else. Was temped to pump in some rivets but its holding and see no increase in cracking. The new wheels and tubes are far superior to originals and first replacements is the only gripe, really happy with scooter which keeps on going, prompt service and advise given by Electric Scooter Shop when called/shop online.

I sent my son into ESS to replace his rear break leaver, the staff were friendly and good to deal with. I was not with my son at the time but ESS allowed me to be invoiced for the work. They decided on a brake bleed as opposed to replacing the breaks. Not a straight forward job by the sounds. Labour cost was a little steep - 1 hour to bleed brakes and check lines?. I personally would have liked a call to have options on replacing the breaks as the issue has returned and my son didn’t feel like they listened when he went in and doesn’t want to return. 90 dollars for a brake bleed is a sore spot here but I understand the labour cost but question the time spent here. Another scooter shop charged me 35 for a brake bleed and gave me full options for replacement. I’ve since been back but was told to book in another time and service was not available during the weekend which is understandable but a little bit felt like the English gent didn’t really want to book me in or offer me much options apart from wanting to sell me another scooter. All in all a decent business with understandable costs but let down a little by communication. Cool shopfront with knowledgeable staff.

They did a hydraulic brake upgrade on my Dualtron scooter and a tire change on my hero x8, not only was the service great but the workmanship was fantastic, highly recommend. Thank you !

I bought one of the Hero X10 from Electric Scooter Shop. The Hilux of Scooters very capable. scary fast. I am new to scooters & decided to go for the big dog & skip the puppies. Range is amazing. Low speed manners are impeccable. The ride is air ride limo quality. I have max power turned down to 85% so top speed in dual motor level 5 is 65km/h. I weigh 106kg. Effortless up hills in 2 wheel drive mode level 2. The more I ride it the happier I get about how capable it is. I commute in level 2. 1 wheel drive with occasional 2 wheel drive for hills. my speed is 32km/h in that mode. I wear helmet. motorcycle jacket. knee pads. gloves & full face mtb helmet. My only wish is that I could find a scooter as capable at half the weight. so I could chuck it in the boot & take it away with me. You are not sticking this in your boot very easily unless you have a ramp or a solid bike holder. The lighting. horn are awesome. i wish the blinker was a button instead of a switch with a timer. I also wish the 2 wheel drive mode had a separate button. The value for money is unbelievably good. I have ridden it in mega storm conditions & it is fine. To be honest it makes all other scooters look meh.

I ordered the VSETT 9+ scooter last year in 2022. The waiting time was very much extended because the store was broken into (Auckland). The customer service was evasive at time of the because of the burglary, though I tend to think this is more of an Auckland issue, crime rate has increased. Writing this review in 2023, their website has undergone a major design overhaul. The website looks much nicer to browse through. Every product I've ordered after the scooter has arrived in a timely fashion. My scooter still works. I appreciate that the business is trying to improve themselves, as all businesses should be doing, and recently I talked to them about my prior experience. They genuinely cared about what I had to say. I would recommend buying from this company if you live very close to the location where they sell the scooters.

Since getting into the craze that is E.Scooters 😂 we meaning José and myself Kim have purchased 4 yes 4 E.Scooters from The Electric Scooter 🛴 Shop now In Devonport 😁.. it started off with our boys getting Segway-Ninebot Max’s through PB Tech and then my partner knew what he wanted after researching and we ended up in Devonport. I never said anything about myself (Kim) buying one for me. But we ended up leaving the store back in November 21 with a Dualtron Victor in the back of our car 😂😂 and Jose had requested the VSett 10+ Which he had to wait quite some time for 😂😂😂🤪.. that was fine. We practiced using one of the Segways n the Dualtron (we had no experience what so ever) we had hiccups along the way with my boy having a minor incident and we took it back and Jono and his mechanic had a look and fixed her right up. After a bit I had to take her back due to no fluid was getting through to break.. and again they fixed her up. Now after 2 / 3 months my boys have learnt how to handle our scooters and we thought it’s time to upgrade so that we don’t have to wait for them anymore 😂😂. So we came just this weekend gone to View some scooters, Between the INOKIM OX n VSett 9+. The boys even we both myself n Jose tried both scooters and found we all preferred the VSett’s. We had only planned on Viewing and test driving to see what was better out of both scooters. We had asked quite a few questions that ticked many boxes for us. But we chose the V.9+ and the boys didn’t have any issue on time due to closing in less than 15mins. They got the scooters from storage unboxed them, tightened everything, tested them and we were off. So helpful with our requests and not wanting to brush us off quickly. All in all. I find Jonno and the whole team have a lot of knowledge when we ask so many questions. They are friendly and can be approached without a hiccup.
