I had such lovely experience at The Butcher’s Son. We came for dinner and everything was satisfying: the customer service, the food display, the ambiance, and the taste. It’s a busy vegetarian restaurant with super cool and cozy atmosphere. Despite of the busyness, all of the staff here are very nice and I think this fact really wins a score in my heart. There’s pretty good portion for some dishes regarding the price and they have many delicious, interesting options on the menu. Try this place out if you want to have a healthy meal with your family/friends or just want to treat yourself with some tasty vegetarian food. Nothing can go wrong with The Butcher’s Son 🙌🏻💯

We had appetizers and drinks with a friend here who is strictly vegan, and we had a great meal and a great experience! We thought that the menu had a lot of choices for appetizers, salads and entrees. They had a good drink and wine menu, also. The food was very good, with very good presentation and delicious sauces, etc. The service was very good and friendly, even after the restaurant got fairly busy. We have been to many vegan restaurants all over the world, and this one matches the best of them. We thought that the prices were very fair and comparable to other restaurants in Thailand area. We would definitely recommend this to all of our vegan/vegetarian friends, and our “omnivore” friends, also!

Good food, not a vegan myself but nachos were very tasty. 20min wait, good prices and large portions of the meals we ordered. The additional vegan chicken I added was also very tasty. Very accommodating to Coeliac which is awesome too.

I went to The Butcher's Son tonight (20 March 2022) to celebrate my birthday. The name sounded like it was going to have real meat, but when you look at the green text below the name, you will realise that it is plant-based, which will appeal to people who want to work towards a vegan lifestyle. On the date mentioned, I had a beyond 'beef' burger with cheedar-style 'cheese' (1st picture). To me that was awesome as the patty tasted like real angus beef, just that it was an alternate version of real Angus beef instead. I also shared some cauliflower bites with some sauce (2nd picture) amongst my family. It was delicious as it smelt and tasted like real fried chicken, although the first bite was a bit strange for me at first. Overall, I will definitely recommend this restaurant as I loved how the taste of the food that I ordered resembled to the real meat meals that I would have eaten often previously. I absolutely welcome anyone who wants to try out a vegan lifestyle to visit this restaurant at least once, and even try out the beyond 'beef' burger if they are spoilt for choice by the different options available in the restaurant's menu!😃

If you are on the fence about meat free meals, try the "Beyond Beef" and "Cheese" Burger. I have had a number of burgers from many places over the years made from plant based and non plant based sources. It honestly is the best burger I can remember having and the fries were divine. Such lovely, pure flavours and not greasy or oily. I just told my family, we're going here for my birthday but know I will be again before that. In fact I already want to go back again for dinner. Lovely hospitable staff to boot including the manager, highly recommended. No photos sorry, I tried one of my fries and couldn't stop.

The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there so there were plenty of tables to choose from. We got one near the entrance but it did look like they had a back area too. Menu is quite large so lots of different options. We tried the tofu kebabs, mushroom pate, and the Buddha bowl. The mushroom pate was amazing. It was served with bread and you could just slather the pate over it. It had a great flavour. The kebabs were ok. I liked the tofu but the other veggies were just a bit salty. The Buddha bowl was alright. The fried cauliflower in it was quite nice. It was also quite filling. We had the waffle for dessert and that was really good. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The maple syrup was very good as was the nice cream. A really good restaurant option. Even though it is vegan the food is made well enough that you probably won't notice it's missing meat.

Amazing place! Great vegan / vegetarian menu with perfect blend of continental, mexican, Mediterranean and pinch of Indian items. Awesome variety of drinks, cocktails, coffee, juices. And on top of it, fresh cookies and pastries. Friendly smiling staff, nice decor and location. A must visit place.

Recommended by a friend to celebrate a new Job. Friendly service with a lovely selection of drinks. Tried the whisky sour and it was tasty! Really yummy burgers with good large portion sizes. Didn't try the desserts this time around but will be returning in future.

OMG - the food here is Amazing! Best vegan place we've been to in Auckland. Do try it. The service was fast and friendly and lots to choose from on the all vegan menu. Had the benedicts brothers and sun fed "chicken" burger - the texture in this burger was amazing! On a good day you can find parking right outside but I imagine it would get busy during peak times. Highly recommend The Butcher's Son.

Big fan of this place. Awesome food, best I've had in a long time. Family of veggies so clearly we are the right market for the plant based food, but so tasty. Style of place is also modern and clean, service great, and fairly decent section suitable for having kids around (Green Room) with small basket of really nice toys.

Hey there, today was not my first time at The Butcher's Son, but it was my first time reviewing it. If you are unaware, they are a plant based eatery, so be ready for a "non-meat" experience. We came in as they opened and were greeted and seated immediately. Like most places, especially around the holiday season, they were understaffed, which did impact service on this particular occasion. It would have been good if they acknowledged this when we first arrived to manage our expectations. With that out of the way, let's get into the food. Amazing 🔥🔥🔥 I had the "chicken" burger & fries, and my partner had the pea & courgette fritters... both meals were outstanding! Every time I've been here, the food has consistently been great. Well done 👏 As we were finishing our food, extra staff came in, and the place started whirring into full steam. The man in glasses saved the day! ENJOY

As vegan friendly as it gets. Appears to be an entirely plant based menu. I tried the nachos and they were amazing. Great, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. A very diverse menu. And the options even pleased my non-vegan friend. Absolutely worth a visit, whether you're a plant based eater or not.

I had an amazing lunch there the other day and I was amazed by the flavors! I ordered the rancheros which was really filling and very delicious. The spiciness was just perfect. I also had a cold brew coffee with a side of their own house blend which is almond and coconut milk mix. I definitely recommend to non-vegans as well! Thank you guys! You're doing well!

Great place to to have a kai experience with family and friends, excellent twist on classic dishes in a gourmet way, the service was amazing just like their food, thank you we will be back again!

Delicious food, really nice friendly staff and great service. The reason of 3 stars small portions & food was too oily, even my Buddha bowl was full of oil and my husband’s burger patty was dripping oils. Lots of great vegan options but definitely not healthy vegan restaurant if anyone looking for some healthy options. Also the potion sizes are too small. I was really hungry and despite food being oily after eating Buddha bowl with coffee I was still hungry. My son ordered Nachos, were dry and small size not enough if you are hungry.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s pretty good, yesterday got the nachos with sunfed chicken, it came out with everything piping hot as it should except the cashew cheese which was stone cold 🥶 …. The staff member who served me was super nice and had it rectified, the taste and value is pretty good now as it used to be a smaller serving, however the sunfed chicken is now minced up and lost amongst the nachos and tastes super duper oily as if it’s been over fried or something? Would eat here again … cheese, cashew or not should be hot when on a hot dish Thanks team
