😠 I was a fan of this store living in city because of the useful products, but I will not like to go there anymore. The staff should be trained and learn how to deal with customers in proper language and manner. I felt so uncomfortable here. Sorry, but the lady should learn what is her job doing there... I was a fan of this store living in city because of the useful products, but I will not like to go there anymore. The staff should be trained and learn how to deal with customers in proper language and manner. I felt so uncomfortable here. Sorry, but the lady should learn what is her job doing there and respect others in a good manner. I will never buy here.

I forgot my mask and have shopped here before with no mask. But today when I entered instead of being politely asked to wear a mask or leave , they yelled at my front across the store to get out if I have no mask. I asked do you have any , they said no you need to leave. I would’ve been happy to wear one I just forgot mine, and if they had asked properly it would’ve been fine instead of yelling at me from across the store

Bought a pair of slippers for 7 dollars, worn it for less than a week then it to broken. I went back to store for a replacement but the lady with lenses said she can do nothing about it because we already worn it. Expect low quality items with poor customer service form this store.

A good quality cheap household stuff and stationary stuff for very cheap prices. 1 for $3.5 and 3 for $10. Browse around and you'll definitely find something useful for your day today lifestyle

Yeah I guess like most everyone else, I can't say too much for a shop I expected to have higher quality but lowest priced items, and Daiso delivers pretty well. I was actually surprised by how well lit and white the shelves were, haha or it was everything being in a little plastic bag that made it all shiny. They had a sale going on where everything was $3 so grabbed a bunch of little things. The aisles are Very tight though so expect to be trying to squeeze around people sometimes.

Reasonable quality with fairly low price. They have more than 1000 items items. There are a lot of interesting items I have never seen anywhere else. I found that their price is all the same $3.5 each item. $10 for 3 items. You can spend hours due to they have a lot of new items. Enjoy shopping here. VH

Lots of unique stationery and other bits and bobs. Almost everything costs $3.50 or you can get three items for $10. Staff are friendly, always a pleasure to shop here

Awesome store and great values. Never get sick of visiting when in town. Why pay 3 to 4 time the price for the same item elsewhere? Japanese brands=quality. Wide range of choices such as homeware, cosmetic accessories, cookware, laundry items. etc. Check out the photos. They open preety much 365 days a year. No free parking, paid parking in the basement Civic carpark or limited paid parking on Queen St/Wakefield St. Staff are friendly and responsive. Better quality and range when comparing to the typical 1.2 3 dollar shop. Eveyrthing is Daiso branded. They also have stores in Sydney, Gold Coast and beyond. Highly recomended for a visit.

Great selection of things with rude staff. Normally we're happy to go there. Unfortunately the female cashier on Fri afternoon was very rude and grumpy. It was as if we were inconveniencing her. Didn't give us a bag until we asked for it. Shove the bag and the items roughly as if throwing things to animals. Scowling. No word of thanks nor smile. We left feeling upset with the level of "service". Perhaps she needs to go for staff training, this was the first time ever receiving horrible service there. Based on that experience I would say that if you're not pakeha, don't expect any service from her! I nearly took her photo to post on Google review, but refrained from doing so as I don't want to shame her publicly.

Horrible customer service at this particular Daiso. I asked a staff member if a pan was useable with an induction stove to which he said yes. Turns out it wasn’t. When I tried to return the pan the staff member was rudely refused and claimed that it was written in English that the pan was not induction friendly. Well lady if it was I wouldn’t have asked a staff member about it. Never shopping here again after this robbery.

In general, the place is great. Being Japanese myself, it is quite convenient to have Daiso around even at the overseas environment. However one of the staff here is exceptionally impolite- When I asked her whether they have a certain product, she took a glance at me and stared me for a while, then answered something like "Yeah." in a very annoyed tone. She then ushered me to the section, and found that the product was sold out. The way she told me that it was sold out was also unfavorable, I wouldn't want to be communicated like that at any service industry. After she went off, I found the product I was looking for in the shelf, but in a differently designed package. It made me wonder if she really didn't know that they had another version of the product even though she is a staff. If this wasn't taken into account, I would have given a 5 star.

Nice store from Japan that’s starts at $3.50 per item, compared to ¥100 per item in Japan. If you are looking for something, I recommend to check Daiso out first as it will likely be the cheaper option than anywhere else

I loved it. Totally to the point. Most of the things under 3-10 dollars and other depends upon things. I bought door mat, barclet, some stationaries, sandel, etc. and it's good. One word: go for it.

Some products quality were not very good.. and some products have tag says different prices :(Not $3.50)...! I had to be careful when I came here because one time I wanted to buy something but the check out staff told me it's not ($3.50)...🤔

It’s a nice store, most of the items are priced at 3.50 and it’s 10 fir 3 items. They have a lot of useful items from household things to storage, cleaning, cosmetics, accessories, utensils, kitchen items, pet items, gardening supplies, lights, charging cables, cells, stationary.etc.You name it they have it. Some items are priced differently, be sure to check price tags or check with the staff before purchasing. Definitely recommended. There’s something for everyone

Lots of amazing items at 3 for $10. So many aisles of stuff you can get lost. But great to see items you only ever see online.

You can find many house hold items for a really good price. Everything in here is 3.5 NZD, unless the price is marked. And they give every 3 items at 10 NZD. You can find nice stationary items, ceramic, cute plushies, comfortable insoles, plastic items etc. in here.

This Daiso is small in comparison to the ones in Japan but its good none the less. They have a variety of beauty products, kitchen ware, stationery, bathroom and a lot of practical items. Takes me ages to look through all of them but a good selection of items. If I lived here or had just moved here this shop would be even more useful to me.

😠 I love tea but hate shopping in store here. The workers don't respect your personal space. I have autism and will say I want to be left alone but they hover and continue to bother me. The store is overwhelming as is and it's only worse with overly heedful staff. I wish T2 were more accommodating.
