Went up to Four corners first time visiting. The views were amazing seeing a different view of the surrounding South Auckland area. Never heard of Four corners it is a must. Walking tracks, and sitting areas for a picnic.

Hands down this is now my favorite park in the North Island! Absolutely pristine with so much space! Its huge! There are ample of tracks for walker and some amazing areas and trails for mountain bikers. There are also picnic areas and lots of off street parking around most of the park. The lookout is spectacular but you cannot drive up at this point in time. However it's a very short walk from the street. We spent a good couple of years here and only saw a tiny portion of the park. Only thing to note there are limited toilets here.

Great look out! Definitely a must see! The views were eye candy so amazing! We were in the area visiting my husband childhood home & this place was a great find! Sunset was lit! Thank you for making our first sunset in Auckland, such a winning experience was a special moment.

Good place but not really suitable for children (very unsafe). Need to cut trees to make it a safe environment and also very uneven ground.

Great for short or long walk + biking trails. There's an uphill part where you get to see amazing sunset view. Just wear warm jacket as it gets cold when windy.

Yet another unique, scenic place with seemingly endless trails and mountain bike paths that will challenge you! If you're lucky you can walk alongside the cows too! 😀

I take the loop from Redoubt Road and it’s about 3km with hills - the dog loves roaming and playing with other dogs and it’s a great walk when the weather is nice.

It's quite an amazing place for me to go bushwalking in Spring and in Summer, and on such a nice day, I rate it be a very relaxing settlement well I can admire the native bush with rivers and streams, and it's also very scenic and surrounded by paddocks and farmland and I rate it to be very special and to be a lovely scenic place to go bushwalking in my area, because I live very local to Auckland Botanical Gardens and Totara Park and it's also a very amazing place to have a picnic and BBQs and it has a swimming pool, to soak in for a swim during summer, it has adventure playgrounds, for kids to play in, it has public toilets, and it even has a fancy restaurant ideal for weddings, birthday parties, engagements, very special get togethers, and all sorts of special events, and it even has tennis courts and field, for when I go to Totara Park for a Renaissance Disability Group Bootcamp 2015 and 2016, and it's a very beautiful place to get out and about for a calm peaceful bushwalk on a great sunny day, in my area and to know it is very local to where I live.

Bush walking regularly on Saturday early morning. Good loops total 1 hour at reasonable pace. Light-Medium difficulties. Well-maintained tracks. Fresh air, running water and birds singing.

My running route everyday for 25+ years. 360 hectares enveloping, multiple bush tracks, adult/children pools, plethora of children's parks, bike tracks, botanical gardens, and animal sanctuaries.

Great walking trails. Dog owners please keep dogs on leash where it's specified!! Had an encounter with a free roaming dog not a nice experience. We all want to enjoy this park.

Should really be a higher rating but the fact that the exercise/obstacle course has limitations for smaller kids and the tennis court is a little worse for wear earns it a high 3 stars Plenty of tracks and places to exercise and explore The public toilets are functional which is good when walking with young kids during winter

Really enjoy this place, the bush walk is awesome. They have public toilets, swimming pool and tennis court, and great spacious area for family picnic and BBQ.

The park is in a nice area, was really good for family/work get togethers, plenty of shade under trees, toilets play music and are clean, pity it doesn't have a water park, bigger adventure playground & BBQ outlets apart from that it was great

HUGE! so many trails lots to explore! Didn't realise how much goodness this place contained until I decided to go for a stroll through here one say. Good for taking pets for walk or the bike out for a ride. Lots of different tracks

My fav place to walk/jog currently. Pools right by it so after a good workout trecking through the many paths you can make your way back to the pools for a shower and swim. Plenty of car park space, two playground areas for your children, field to set up a marquee and public toilets available

  • 4/5 Karen S. 2 years ago on Google
Toilets on-site. Plenty of shady spots, some with barbecue tables and seating under a few trees. A pool is on-site but not operating in Dec 2021 yet. Great playgrounds. Nice walks in the trees. No Food for sale on-site. Bring your own drinks and food.
