Free entrance so there a visit but it IS very small so maybe only pay a visit if you're in the area. Definitely thought provoking content :)

Beautiful old building home of New Zealand's first television station

An amazing space run by some very special people. Have a constantly changing exhibition and events. A local secret.

Eclectic art exhibition space. Has a tendency towards incoherence. Not sure whether this is a positive or a negative.

Art gallery, usually displays modern art works. Interesting in a classic building. Modest size but well worth visiting.

A heritage building that was formerly home to Radio 1YA and TVNZ and the current exhibition is Television Now and Then interesting and very appropriate for the building (goes to 12 Dec), and it free.

Very innovative and also the art is very much open to interpretation. Certainly will be back for a longer time

The artwork with the theme of 'Refugees in Aus and NZ' was truly pondering and made me think about the severity of having detention centres :(

Cool but not super accessible

Just been to view there latest exhibit. 60 years of Television in NZ. So nostalgic for me and i especially liked thumbing through the huge program directory book their. Fascinating as many of the programs i watched as a kid in the 60s and later were there, episode titles and dates aired. Highly recommended for avid TV fans and to see and hear how television started in this country from famous faces to what goes on behind the scenes. Also admired the architecture both outside and inside the studio. Great work. Regards, Ian Davies.
