When we accidentally stumbled across this place and was refused entry cause it was a restaurant, we were hoping to come back one day to give it a try. Booked a table and arrived, we did arrive about half an hour earlier than our reservation to see if we could be seated early but if we didn’t that was fine (however they did let us come in early which was nice. Took about 5 or so minutes for someone to even come to the door to assist us as we needed to be seated by staff. Was put in the small corner which was a shame cause I couldn’t appreciate the interior of the place as I was just looking at a corner. Food was good with decent portions as it’s designed to shared though the two people table is way too small, was served promptly when placing the initial order however my partner was ignored 3 times when he was trying to wave someone down just so we could get another drink. I wouldn’t really rush back but I am willing to give the place another try maybe sometime in the future.

A group of 5 of us went to Seoul Night to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. This was a 1st experience for most of us so we were very excited. It's down a little side street & your welcomed by a red door that looks like a soda vending machine that I thought was pretty cool. We were then greeted by one of the staff who was very lovely. Some of our group had turned up before us and had already ordered drinks so we sat down to. The customer service was actually really great. They were attentive and polite and informative when we asked questions about the food and drinks. The food come out reasonably fast. They checked on us a couple times to check if we wanted more drinks & if our food was ok & I appreciate things like that. The reason for the 3 star review is because some of the food we ordered regardless of the 1 chili meter on the menu it was very spicy. Im not the best with spice but usually with mild spice I can handle it but this I could not. We had: Original Fried Chicken: Very tasty! Nice and crispy & hot. Korean Fried Chicken is honestly my favourite type of fried chicken & this satisfied my cravings for it. Also come with a side of chips & they were cooked to perfection. Crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. (Not spicy at all) Soy Glazed Fried Chicken: This was the spicy dish that I couldn't handle. Although the chicken was moist & the honey soy glaze was amazing I could not bring myself past the burn of the spice so I wouldn't order it again. Kumara Pizza: Amazing. Simply Amazing. I loved it. It's not really a pizza I'd say more like a kumara bake but it was very delish. The cheese cut the sweetness of the kumara and it was a perfect match for my taste buds. (Not spicy at all) Rosè Chicken Pasta: Was very good also. I wish they'd tell me how the chicken stays crunchy when mixed in with the sauce. The pasta is cooked to perfection. Not to soft and not to hard. (Not spicy at all) Korean Grilled Pork: Was a tad spicy & it didn't even have a Chilli next to it to say it would be spicy but I did like it. Tasty, juicy pork & the rice went perfectly with it. This spice I could handle & would gladly enjoy again. The drinks. OMG the drinks were to die for. I had a Watermelon Soju Slushie and the Mango Soju Slushie and they both exceeded my expectation for real!! I'd legit go back just to have those soju slushies 😉 the food was a bonus to me. The atmosphere was nice & it was pretty funky. The decor was modern. It was mixed with a bit of a street with neon lights & graffiti on the walls there was Korean words that were also translated to English that I thought was cool & neon lights all around. All in all it was a great experience & I think everyone should try it atleast once. P.s if you don't like spice I recommend not getting any of the items that have a Chilli next to them & double check with the servers on what spice level they are.

The atmosphere is superb. The food is amazing but the staffs need to be more attentive. I love the vibe and lights which makes cosy and relax. The price is bit noe fair for the portion. Rather than that enjoyed. Make sure to book a table earlier.

Seoul night just hits the spot time and time again. My friends and I have been here so many times and the food and customer service is so consistent. The dishes are delicious and made for sharing so everyone is always able to try different things. I highly recommend the rose pasta and rosemary fried chicken (if you like proper spicy food). The staff do an amazing job. This place has been busy everytime I've been there but the staff mange to attend to people as quick as they can with a really approachable and friendly service. Bonus: Seoul night was the only restaurant I have been to during the pandemic that provided sanitizers for each table. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with a different vibe. I know I'll be back regularly 😁

My journey into the Korean cuisine keeps me looking for different places to eat. The chosen one this time was Seoul Night, in the CBD. I actually took a while to find, as the door look like a vending machine in the middle of a alley. Once you enter, seems like a dance club, loud sound and flashing lights. I knew that from previous reviews, so no surprises. It is good for young adults, unless you enjoy some k-pop like I do. I order spicy 🌶️ chicken and that was really spicy, took me some time to digest the whole dish. It was delicious and well prepared. You gotta enjoy hot food , otherwise it would be a nightmare to finish up. Overall, service is friendly and fast, food is decent and fairly priced.

Came here in a big friend group. This place is really a drinking place with sharing food. A lot of the dishes were kind of just mixture of fried chicken, cheese and korean spices. Most of them tasted alright. The most outstanding was the rose tteokbukki, which had really good texture and creamy flavour. The drinks was very very expensive, like $23 for a bottle of soju which is like almost 3 times the price. Overall tasted good, not outstanding. This is more like a one time thing for me or for a big gathering.

all of the dishes were incredible! small menu but lots of different items to choose from at the same time. just a tip - don’t order the “soju slushie” if you’re expecting an iced drink as the slushie was just like a smoothie and very thick - more a dessert than a drink with dinner. would definitely come back and dine here.

The best thing to do is to get in early. We ate about 5.30 as we had a concert to go to. It was the best time to eat as the restaurant was packed after 6.15. They were so lovely and managed to fit us at the last minute. All our food came. It was delicious, generous portion sizes, and the cocktails were yummy. It's definitely best to dine early to get your food first.

First time here. First they need to update the menu on the Web site as prices and dishes are different to what they have now. Do not get pork ribs as they hardly have any meat on them and were pretty dry for its high price. Chicken coconut pasta was delicious. Original fried chicken was nice but it didn't come with fries (like the older photos I've seen). Mocktail slushy were a treat from some mild spice in the dishes. A bit pricey for 1 or 2 dishes and a let down on the pork ribs but staff were very polite especially when they were asking if we're going to be OK with our order as it might be too much. (Us islanders smashed it like 'too much ?') Good experience worth to check out.

Might be a better experience eating in than getting takeaway. Chips came cold, stale and soggy and were obviously old since the rosemary chicken was still hot and fresh in the same order. Rosemary chicken well-seasoned and rice cakes were chewy and soft. Unfortunately, there was more batter and rice cake than chicken itself though.

If you are in your twenties, eating late at night after/with a few drinks you'll like this place. If you are in your thirties, and come here for dinner at 5pm on a Monday like I did, you'd probably rate this a three star. Food is good, but is mostly heavy fried food that goes best with a night on the town. Best dish was the pork bossam. Fried chicken was good (wish there was more chicken and less fries) & I really liked the lemon crush soju sangria. Service was okay. Worth a try and enjoyed myself but probably won't be a regular patron.

We came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It has a nice dark alley vibe with neon lights. the food was really good and would definitely recommend. The drinks on the other hand was weak. Feels like it has been watered down and overpriced -they need to up their cocktail game in my opinion. Otherwise 4/5 first impression

My friends took me to dins here on my birthday and I really liked the ambience. Staff needed to be more attentive though. Food had an interesting spin. The menu highlights for me were the chicken nibbles, Korean fried chicken and most of the options on the platter. I'm not a fan of shoestring fries but you need to have fries with chicken - you just do - so I did eat them. I can't recall if there was a dessert menu but we were too full for dessert anyway so will check it out next time. Location is also great. Just went back for the second time this week and ordered the original fried chicken (not boneless btw) - great taste but portion wasn't great compared to the price and keeping in mind that it's supposed to be shared.

Fried chicken is to die for, the soy sauce one! We also had kumara pizza, kimchi fried rice is so good! I also like spicy sticky rice cake. Feel like back in Seoul! Strongly recommend!

I visited Seoul Night with a couple of girlfriends right around opening time on a weekday. The entrance door was cleverly disguised as a vending machine, adding a clever touch. Inside, the ambiance leaned more towards the lounge side, boasting urban decor that exuded a city feel. The menu impressed us with its wide variety, catering to all food preferences. Our order included the Yum-Yum Fried Chicken, Prawn Basil Pesto, and Miso Udon. While all the dishes were delightful, the Prawn Basil Pesto stole the show for me. To accompany our meal, we indulged in a couple of cocktails. One guest in our party fell in love with the Cloud 9 cocktail, while I personally enjoyed the refreshing and satisfying Soju Mojito. The service was excellent, with the food served promptly and everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a delightful experience that left us pleased all around. I should also mentioned 2 days later, I ordered the Prawn Basil Pesto and the Rosemary Fried Chicken via Uber Eats and again the food was yet again fantastic! This will definitely be a new go-to for me!

Best food I've had in a long while. Definitely recommend. Slushy soju was refreshingly cold. The food was Definitely top tier for me. Ordered pork ribs and it was fall off the bone delicious. OG chicken with the sauces were so good together and we couldnt stop eating them. That mac n cheese hit the spot! Kimchi fried rice was good too. Can't wait to come back again.

The atmosphere in Seoul Night is really vibey. The lighting has a cool neon feel but also still quite dark feeling with hints of warm oranges on the table. The service is really friendly and attentive. And their food is nice. A bit pricey for the food and drinks. But if you go with a group of people celebrating a night. It's all really worth it. Would recommend for first timers.

We dined at 5:30 as we had somewhere to be and this was a great time as it was still quiet. The cocktails were some of the yummiest I’d ever had, the Seoul lady was my favourite. The food came out extremely fast, but that didn’t affect the beautiful flavours, presentation and the obvious passion they had for the food. Could not recommend highly enough for decent food, a cool venue, and friendly staff.

Had an absolutely fabulous time. Awesome place, I can't fault the service, staff were lovely and the food arrives insanely fast. And man the good was deliscous! Can't wait to go back, portions were good too.

The food was great, it’s a bit pricey. atmosphere was amazing, Customer service here is questionable. I spilled half of beer on my pants, a waitress defo saw me however she just walked away like she saw none. I thought she might be very busy but she was just standing at the counter doing literally nothing. Later a waiter brought me some more tissues after I talked to him. He was nice. But overall it was quite disappointing.

So glad to have found this place in the cbd. The food was incredible and so were the cocktails! The only downside for us was where we were seated. It had a very bright spotlight on the table compared to the rest of the restaurant, which is very dark and moody (in a good way!). Service was also great. Can't wait to go back again.

I'd previously been here with a few friends and thought it would be nice to bring my partner along for a date. He's a bit of wuss when it comes to spicy food but everything was absolutely delicious for both of us. We tried the tuna tataki, beef tartar and the yum yum chicken - all very good. Staff were very attentive and made some beautiful cocktails. Thanks again for a lovely night out

Delicious as always with good vibes. My favourite was the spicy rice cakes and the salmon soba noodle salad. We also got macncheese, fried chicken, kimchi fried rice and loaded fries which was all delicious. If you're getting the fried chicken, you won't need the extra fries though.

  • 5/5 Lucy B. 2 years ago on Google
KIMCHI FRIED RICE was my favourite dish on the menu! Very tasty and the tornado egg ontop was very cool! Everything I tried was delicious. Also I would highly recommend trying a Soju Slushier, we had Watermelon and it tasted like it was just the fruit freshly blended. Most items we tried had a little kick of spice so keep this in mind.

Great ambience, can be a bit noisy at time, but that adds to the street food experience. Loved the Soju (got a summer special flavoured soju) and the fried chicken with their house sauce, it was incredibly delicious! Can be a bit of a wait, reserve in advance if possible!

Great Korean place to eat at! Food was great however slightly pricy in our opinion. Either than that the drinks were amazing! Definately expect to share as portions are meant to share!

  • 3/5 ELÆN 2 years ago on Google
The food was generally good, though the chicken I chose was tasteless. Atmosphere was interesting but hot, very hot, sweltering infact which was as you can imagine uncomfortable, and also very noisy. For a restaurant on a Wednesday night around 8pm there was a lot of wasted and noisy people, which isn't very conducive for a family dinner. Not sure I'd rush back.
