Affordable place to eat great food

Lovely atmosphere and great surroundings with large outdoor area to sit and relax and watch over kids while they play on the very cool playground with soft cork flooring for safety. The howick club offers bar snacks at reasonable prices. The calamari is very nice. It's great place to go for both adults and kids and highly recommend.

Very nice food and brilliant and friendly staff but you do need to be a member to eat in the restaurant 👍

Love this place, the family and I are often at the Howick Club with friends, they have so many things to do and events are changing all the time. And the food is definitely up there with loads of choice and awesome buffets on certain days.

Great venue for a celebration. Food and refreshments excellent. Dining hall was noisy as there were some uncontrolled children. Prices very reasonable for top class service.

Middle of the week and absolutely buzzing, smorgasbord offering at special price, lots of food choices for mains and dessert, an enjoyable night out.

Update: lowered to 4 stars as service and staff friendliness has dropped. I have been a member for this club for over 10 years now. Very good facilities here, love the well maintained snooker and pool tables. The food at the restaurant is very good as well, especially the salad bar which always offer fresh and tasty vegetables.

The restaurant is wonderful should have become a member years ago. Eat at club every weekend lunch or dinner both worth it. Nice people, nice atmosphere..

Love the ambiance, vibe, and crowd. We went there for Rolling Stones tribute band called Brown Sugar. It was an evening filled with easy going, happy people just having a good time . The facility was clean, staff courteous. Definitely recommend!

Went for drinks with our neighbour. This place has it all!! Sports bar with pool tables and dart boards, TVs everywhere so you can't miss the game. Drinks are very well priced. Very large dining area with buffet meals. Would be great for a father's day/Christmas etc celebration. Outside has more dining, enough shade, an awesome playground for the kids and a new flying fox coming soon. We were very impressed! It's well priced too to become a member! Perfect family location.

The Sunday dinner is fabulous. The very best cauliflower n cheese sauce. Kudos to the chef/s

It's a great social club if you live in Howick or close to there, and you like that kind of thing. The buffet dinner on Sunday was really quite good. Busy on Labour day weekend. So, good, but not really our CoT.

Been members for ages. Good food, but overcrowded, as if there's no limit to membership. Very loud in dining areas. Spoils it, really.

Awesome family friendly club on the most fantastic site. The best club in the area and worth joining. We regularly have family dinners in the restaurant because the food is unassuming but very tasty. Lovely outdoor area and playground. Plenty of 'sections' for members to join to connect with like minded members eg fishing.

I have been to the Howick Club as a guest several times over the years , and always found it a lovely place to be. The food is exceptional and staff friendly .

Great venue, attended wedding. Staff brilliant and when there was a medical incident stepped up and handled superbly. Ambulance called and patient then to hospital whilst staff kept serving and checking and serving guest. Amazing 👏 👏

I quite like this place. $25 smorgasbord special on Sunday nights. Mains last Sunday were beef, ham and fish pie plus lots more. Very nice passionfruit pavlova to follow as well as fruit and other treats. Oh, and first course soup. The place is noisy and there always seems to be too many children running around with very little parental control. The smorgasbord till has PayWave but the drinks bar does not. How crazy is that? It just makes the bar queue slower and longer.

Always good food. Need better lighting outside though, it's very dark

Absolutely fabulous club with great amenities. Enjoyed a lovely meal and a fantastic music show. They look to have a number of great shows coming up too. A good Facebook page keeps you up to date.

You need to be a member or with a member. Good food but only one vegetarian option. You can eat in or just have drinks. Karaoke on some nights. Tends to be busy so good to book a table for a meal.

The Howick Club is a fabulous venue for a meal, or a special occasion, small or large groups. The food and service is top notch. Go, you will enjoy it.

We have been members for a long time and always enjoy going there, for a drink, bar meal or restaurant meal. Sunday Buffet is value for money, real comfort food so wear loose clothing!

Be careful ordering meals with allergies. They claim the dinner menu cannot be altered which is absolutely ridiculous.

Well known for the guy fawkes displays in the past and this year hosted a spectacular laser light show. The kids loved it!

Great food and so accommodating for my autistic child and changing a menu item to make it vegan for me.

It is quite a very amazing picturesque place which I've never been to before and it is where I know go with my club Howick/Pakuranga Special Olympics End of Year Wind up Party, Dinner and Disco like we used to at the Howick RSA until it closed down due the 2 month Covid Delta Lockdown just over a year ago, and it's also better than where we used to go previously to the Howick RSA, and I actually very well love it, and it's quite flash and nicer than the RSA was and it is now the best venue for my Howick/Pakuranga Special Olympics Club's annual end of year wind up party 🎉 Dinner and Disco.

My colleagues and I had our end of year lunch here. Very nice food and welcoming staff. Lots of parking too.
