Went there thinking we'd get something nice to eat and enjoy ourselves. All they had available were very average looking burgers and fries on the menu even though a larger menu was advertised online. Hardly any non-alcoholic drink options. Very poor service from the waitresses, kept having to try wave them down. Honestly take your valuable time and money elsewhere. Way better places to go on the waterfront.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and were seated outside overlooking the harbour. We had a pizza, the buttermilk chicken, ribs, and fries. The chicken was the highlight, but all the food was tasty. Service was fast and professional, the only let down was the lack of frozen margarita flavours.

Food was alright, service was good, definitely got busier as the night went on. I had never seen a bubblegum margarita before and doubt I ever will again.

Coops Corner Pub at Viaduct Harbour offers efficient service and a lively atmosphere on weekends. While the food is average, the staff is attentive and the service is prompt. It's advisable to choose the left side seating if visiting with family, as the right side tends to be noisy with groups. The pub offers a selection of three draught beers - Tiger, Heineken, and Coops. Overall, Coops Corner Pub is a decent option for those seeking a vibrant pub experience in a convenient location.

Very busy place. Always book in advance if you dont want to wait for a table. Great location, awesome , friendly staff. Delicious cocktails. I highly reccomend their Homewrecker burger (in the photo) so tasty and full of flavour. Awesome atmosphere!

Coops Corner Pubs in Auckland city centre is a delightful haven for food enthusiasts. The diverse selection of pizzas and finger foods caters to every palate, showcasing a fusion of flavors that leave a lasting impression. The inviting ambiance, coupled with a well-stocked bar offering a range of soft and alcoholic drinks, adds to the overall experience. The dessert options are a sweet finale to a satisfying meal. Friendly staff and a central location make Coops Corner Pubs a must-visit for those seeking a tasteful blend of culinary delights and a relaxed atmosphere.

Ate here again and noticed their Large ribs ($59) somehow got smaller compared to previous size and their buttermilk fried chicken was smaller than expected. We also got some Fish and Chips which was good - overall enjoyed the food. Location is good and weather was beautiful. Felt sorry for the poor 2 staff members working and serving possibly 40+ people as they had multiple last minute team members calling in sick. Had to wait a bit to pay(which was not a problem for us), would be good if they had back up/extra help. Don't mind coming back, love the location and food is good.

Only had a few drinks here. Ordered from the bar, so didn't experience much service, but wasn't expected. Atmosphere was superb being on the waterfront, and the coconut Margarita was divine!!! Will be back.

Came here for the first time recently with some friends and had the best experience. The food was delish and didn’t have to wait too long. we were well looked after by a lovely waitress called Raven, she was fabulous! Will definitely be coming back again :)

Recently celebrated a work event - the food was delicious and delivered quickly. Our bartender - Joshua - as amazing. So informative about different cocktails and so easy to listen to and share his advice. I would highly recommend Only downside was it maybe needed more aircon. However certainly would visit again and hope others do too

We had the most amazing at the coops The food was Delicious and was only improved by our runner India who got the food out pronto - came to us super hot and fresh. Our waitress Dasha was very attentive and always happy for a chat - we never felt neglected and her service as immaculate. We would recommend this place, also the floors at coops ,toilets were so extremely clean.

Ok but not great, they didn't have half of what we wanted to order, squid far too salty. Then when came the time to pay and split the bill, it was bit of a nightmare at the till as the waitress thought we ordered more than what was recorded on the receipt and splitting in 4 seemed quite complicated too.

It was a Sunday afternoon They had ran out of piza dough buttermilk chicken was dry and over cooked and Ceviche fish had no flavour and tasted old. Staff were good and had no issue refunding us for the uneaten food.

Second time to visit Coops. We had friends from oversees and brought them there for lunch. Amazing service!!! Helena and Natalie were very friendly and extremely accommodating - we asked to be transferred to another table and then asked again for another table to be arranged for us as we had more friends about to turn up. Food was really good but just had to wait a wee longer than usual for them to arrive. Otherwise, a great lunch out. Will certainly come back for a third time!!!

Josh behind the bar was amazing! Came for drinks on my birthday and you could tell he loved the craft. Super informative and was thrilled to help me decide a new cocktail to try.

The wait staff did not seem happy. No smiles or pleasantries when seating or placing our orders. Food was not great. Fish and chips were extremely greasy. Ribs were way to spicy for our liking. We watched 2 other plates go back and another couple walk out. Not sure if it was a rough night for the cook and staff, but we would not recommend this place. Walk past it, down the viaduct, go to The Pavillion.

Had fish and chips. Not a big serve for a good price. Nice food, not greasy/oily. Lovely fresh fish and nice coleslaw. Limited in wine selection. Had to pick our 3rd Sav blanc option as first two not available.

The food was amazing but what topped it off for me were the staff and the welcoming vibes they had to share! Shout out to Helena, Josh and Sydney! You guys are awesome! Keep up the great work 🫰🏾

My friend's and I went just for the steak, and it was a big disappointment, we asked for med-rare and it came closer to well done, all we could taste was the wine which over powered everything and left a strong taste in our mouths. The buttermilk chicken tasted great but the size was like we got the off cuts of chicken. The front of house were quick to get us our drinks but didn't check to see if we were ready to order food when giving us our drinks, which left us waiting and looking around for someone to call over to take our order, Noone meal checked us until we had almost finished so they couldn't catch the mistake and we could see staff to get there attention. Honestly contemplating going back as the food wasn't worth the price. Less than hour later end up rushing to the bathroom.

The calamari’s were amazing. So good that I couldn’t take a pic. Good price for the quality!

Food tasted alright but asked for a gluten free pizza base as my partner has coeliac disease. No cost for gluten free base on the docket which means the kitchen couldn’t have had it noted down. Now have a very ill partner. Allergies/food requirements should be taken very seriously.

Fantastic place. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. Pizzas were spot on. Atmosphere is great. Sit and watch the Hussle and bustle of the waterfront.

Margerita with treats is extremely sweet. The pub is a nice size but you normally need to book to get a table in the sun on their terrace

My partner and I went in and we had 1 drink. We went back and ordered food and tried to order another drink but the girl denied us service for literally no reason and told us to have food and come back first. We ordered 3 sides and ate them, went back to the counter and she denied us again. She in particular needs to get a better sense of judgment or better training. We definitely won't be giving you our money again.

Ate here months ago but decided its time to shed light on the experience. Pros: - Good music selection - Portions decent Cons: - Flat bread was stone cold and rock hard - Waffles were all burnt or unevenly done (how??) - Food was either too salty or too sweet - Drinks pricey Wouldn't come again. Better places to go

Loved this place for lunch. Great staff, friendly but a bit slow to serve unfortunately. Food is great and cocktails are divine. Great place to people watch down on the waterfront.

The steak, while a bit pricey, exceeded my expectations for flavours. My only recommendation is to include a small side of coselaw, cold pasta, or salad. My friend order fried chicken and was a disappointed in terms of quality and portion.

This was one of one the better evenings out I've had in a while! The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing and tasted amazing. The service was outstanding, the servers who were looking after us were attentive, friendly, and made the visit enjoyable along with a few a laughs! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing evening on the Viaduct (or a fun evening later into the night)!

Cheesy garlic bread, peach slushy cocktails and salad were yum. Steak was ok but overpriced for what it was. They didn’t have the crumble rhubarb dessert but tequila ice cream was delicious.

We had a great lunch at Coops today. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, especially for the area. The frozen bubblegum margherita was delicious. And the service was amazing from both people that served us. Special shout out to our waiter, a young blonde guy on during Monday lunch service, who was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and come back whenever I'm back in Auckland.

Yes, can't complain about the position but wine we chose being the cheapest one is sold by the bottle $48.00 per bottle $17 for large glass $10.50 for regular glass, considering you can purchase this same bottle at new world for $9.99 it a 400% mark up which is extortionate. I wasn't very hungry so ordered a cheese burger $15.50 ( price is ok)with chips, the bun came out cold I sent it back. Ok I don't work in a flash office in Auckland and don't earn mega bucks but maybe the lease on this establishment costs moonbeams hence the 400% mark up on the wine.

Coop's Corner Pub knows how to turn an unexpected twist into a memorable night of laughter and great service! Our lovely evening took a hilarious turn when a mysterious and fun energy turned our friend into a clumsy superstar, knocking down water glasses. But fear not! The staff and owners handled it like pros with kind understanding and support. With fantastic bartenders and vibes, delightful drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere, Coop's Corner Pub is the place for unforgettable fun. Cheers to a night filled with laughter and great memories!

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here with mum! Ceviche was lovely as our starter, can definitely do with half the portion of corn chips that came with it. Calamari was also good! Wasn’t the biggest fan of the risotto as the wine was overpowering but the prawn spaghetti was delish! Our waitresses were friendly and attentive, the guy who took our payment was also friendly. Thanks team, overall a good experience and great atmosphere.

Took my Nana out for some food and popped into the Coops Corner Pub. I absolutely loved my Haloumi burger! The fish & chips were delicious as well. Kind staff and lovely atmosphere. Will come again!

A bit crowded and probably not the classiest venue on the Viaduct but drinks are good value, and both the food and the wine list exceeded expectations. Friendly service but I would recommend coming when it's not excessively busy for the best experience.

Was having a terrible day and decided to treat myself to a dinner out. Had the pulled brisket croquettes and the chilli prawn quesadilla, both were 10/10!! (Normally not a big fan of seafood but the quesadilla was bomb!!) Also big shout out to my server Khan, who was amazing, cheered me up no end and even comped me a drink when he heard I was having a rough time. 100/10 will be back again soon!

HELENA AND JOSH AND SYDNEY WERE AMAZING! Their service at the bar and floor was phenomenal! I felt super comfortable. Lily was amazing as well, she was super busy but she still made time to take my order and make sure that I got what I needed/wanted. She was amazing and so is the rest of the staff! Thank you for the service!

We recently hosted a birthday event in the upstairs bar of Coops Corner Pub and there is not a single thing I can fault. The catering food was not only decently priced but thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended as well as many saying they would be back for their own meal. The staff were exceptional, with contact being consistent and clear leading up to the day of the event, and the staff on the day being friendly and inviting. With an ample amount of spaces to choose from as well as a large catering menu. Being in the heart of the city this is the perfect place to host any event!

Food and bevy’s were amazing. Raven is the best bartender to date. Everytime I came in she always looked after me and my pals. Best service ever from her! 10/10 recommend.
