Melba is tres cool. Went there for coffee, croissant and jam and only had 16 minutes before my next meeting. Result? = Great food and service. Chilled and comfortable with music at the right level for 7.30am. Congratulations to Melba and its staff. An exceptional café for Auckland. Recommended with my confidence.

All ways come here when I stay at Ramada Suites. The food is beautiful and the coffee is very good. The staff are friendly and service is quick. I swap between the bene and Melba grill both really nice.

Incredibly fast and friendly service. I enjoyed a delicious Cappuccino and Smoked Manuka Bacon Eggs Benedict.

Been working on the building site next door and so regularly popping in here to get a coffee and a moment of peace and quiet, and the service has always been great, really friendly, quick, even at relatively busy times, and the food! Well, the breakfast wrap is amazing, the cakes are good and it’s always a nice place to just kick back and relax for a few minutes in a crazy day. Good coffee too, what’s not to like. Definitely a local coffee shop for me from now on.

The food was alright, slightly overpriced but it’s in the CBD so it’s understandable. The portion of the food was small though. The people there were attentive and all, but I find the place to be quite dirty. Bread and food crumbs are on the seats without being cleaned.

I love the food and coffee here. There are good vegetarian wraps and sandwiches. Eggs Benn is delicious too. Staff is so friendly and always warm welcoming guests.

Came in for coffee only. Coffee was very good. Very friendly staff. Clean open restaurant. I'll definitely return.

The Bacon and Egg bap with relish and aioli is a gift descended from heaven. I had that with a coffee this morning, I've never started the day feeling better.

The staff is very engaging. I used to visit quite regularly for coffee when my work was closer to the place. The description on the food menu is a bit off from what you get on the plate. Might not be suitable if you’re look for a sumptuous serving size. Taste of the food is great though.

Lovely staff - terrible coffee.. It was a coconut flat white. Tasted very dusty and strange. Perhaps some practice on milk frothing, a different brand of coconut milk and not serving something that looks like a bad practice run.. Sorry guys!

Great Café, just not happy with the downsized cups while the coffee price also did go up earlier. It would have been nicer if the Café could already inform customers about the downsizing decision. I acknowledge the economic situation, but being transparent always works better. It was not a pleasant feeling when I was wondering, "Isn't this cup a bit smaller?" Then asked the staff, and they confirmed.

This Melba location needs to up their game. Has friendly staff but their kitchen and barristers are incredibly slow. To the point where coffee takes 15 to 20 minutes to arrive! Most importantly the food has significantly declined over time. Prices have gone up but quality in food has gone down especially speaking about their scrambled eggs 🤮

I had a lovely halumi sandwich. Not something I would normally choose....but it was great. Coffee was nice but not hot.

The omelette rocks my world. That is all.

It was my first time in NZ and as a foodie, I can vouch for the hearty and very tasty breakfast. It was filling and mmm mmm good. Service was also quick and the servers were friendly.

Quick service and plenty of bacon on the eggs bene. The potato rosti might need re-thinking

Absolutely horrible, bland, stale food and pretty snobby service too. 10 people working but it still takes food triple the time it should to come out. Decent coffee doesnt make up for the waste of time it is to come here. Would not recommend.
