ive been going here for 10 yrs, its pretty good. my go-to is the stonegrill steaks which are good and immersive - sometimes there is some gristle though. the sides and sauces are divine! the last time i went, i had sirloin cooked for me, the inside was cooked perfectly medium but the crust tasted kinda bitter. overall, still delicious and amazing service for the functions over the past yrs

The Hanger is a nice local place to have a sit down and a chat. All the cocktails I grabbed were delicious and the food was decent for pub food.

*Updated 11/11/23: Turned up same time on a Saturday and was offered a "Late night menu" instead of the regular menu which was basically bar snacks for no reason. Very odd that they couldn't accommodate a full house assuming there was a private function of sorts. Good Sports Bar & Restaurant, where the food is always yummy and staff friendly.

Seriously good service. But we dare not to complain. Just wondering if chef really proud of what we've been served. All dishes are bitter to the core. Mine was Rare Rib eye, unsure if the grill was to hot or too much salt has been thrown. Very bitter. The rest of our family get the same taste. No complaints, just wonder if it is what it is.

Nice restaurant and bar. As a wheelchair user it has a nice close disabled parking space, easy access to get inside the building. Access to the bar is great, but dining in a wheelchair is not that great. All the tables on the ground floor level are tall, high stool seating and the "normal" height tables are up 2 steps. So unless I want to eat with the table height at my chin it's not wheelchair friendly at all. (unless you can be pulled up and down a couple of steps).

Stopped in before heading over to Trusts arena to watch netball. Liked the place, layout was good, lots of space & tables. plenty of screens above the bar with sports on, It was busy but not overly so. But! only 1 person at the bar, 1 clearing tables & delivering food orders & 1 doing coffees & also clearing tables. From a customer service point of view, waiting 20 mins for 1 cocktail while 2 staff clear tables (including the one in charge), not ideal. I felt for the 1 staff member serving at the bar. We wanted food but decided not to bother after waiting so long already. I'll give it another try next time we are in the area.

The Hangar is a great place to go for either a drink after work or dinner for the family. The Hangar has a nice vibe, and isn't rowdy. The food there is nice, I order the nachos and love it every time. Parking is easy and accessible and they have parking at both sides of the establishment. The bathrooms are always clean, and are nice. Their workers are all very nice, and listen to any concerns you have intently.

Great food and atmosphere. Had a burger each. Well cooked and the chips were delicious. Highly recommended if your in the area.

The Hangar was a great venue to host our engagement party! Only required a small deposit and minimum spend for the night. The team let us have early access for decorations and roughly 60 guests attended with great space. Upstairs was perfect to hold a private party and the service was amazing, shout out to our bar tender Channy and duty manager Laura :)

I love this place and the food is really nice especially the stone grill, staff are friendly and nice atmosphere.

Shocking service. I was in yesterday for a drink and a meal. Glasses weren't cleared, tables were dirty. Staff seemed more concerned with hanging behind the bar and chatting about their persona lives!

Bring back the half price Sunday snacks! I know it’s hard times, but very disappointing to see this promo gone after many years. Food and cocktails are hit and miss since their menu changed. Good atmosphere.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Couldn’t even eat this bread roll full of hot and spicy mess. I expected alittle bit more than this. Very sad I wasted my money. Also I asked for buffalo wings but came out with the jack daniels bbq sauce but they were still nice. Ta

A one hour wait for a bowl of chips, when it wasn't even very busy is unacceptable and is a breach of the liquor licensing law, which stipulates that, "Food is to be available at all times". Your kitchen needs to re-prioritize the "5 minute snacks", in order to stay within the law. It's really not that hard.

Amazing service and food. Beers reasonably priced. Came here for the ALL blacks vs aus game. Plenty of tvs to watch from and has a big screen too. No complaints there. Food is great to. Plenty to choose from. Variety of drinks hot and cold you won't be disappointed.

Nice building with plenty of seating. However, the fish in my fish Tacos was horribly dry and certainly not very fresh, I cannot recommend this dish and the fries were very average.

We came here after walking away from a rude restaurant. Wow, what a yawning difference! Instant wonderful customer service, amazing attention to customer service. Great food. When they realised it was my birthday they gave us free dessert. We will be back all the time. I highly recommend The Hangar. I wish we had discovered it earlier 💓

Little bit disappointing this time. My Triple Stack Burger was amazing and I must rate that!!! However other meals on our table were not so great. Two of our party ordered the Chilli cheese steak sandwich. The bread roll thing was too hard for them to eat and the chilli sauce drizzled over the bread was so spicy it was too much to try to eat. Extremely over hot!! In the end, they both just ate the steak. That itself was also hot seasoned. They have order the same dish in the past and it has not been a spice issue. So this was a one off. Long island Ice Tea had a little too much Coke. Chilli Mango Margarita was not hot enough Hahaha 😊

Went for dessert and a drink. Initially had to ask for dessert menus and drinks were a little slow in coming but over all was a good evening with yummy cheesecake and passionfruit margarita.

Great drinks, great food but the best thing about this place is Chantelle. The most amazing server, always lovely to talk to so inviting and genuinely the best server. We always come back for her and we miss her when she’s off.

Highly recommended family dining pub, great service, generous portions of food, spacious environment, we'll definitely come back again!

Amazing service from I believe his name is David. He greeted us from the second we walked in and made sure we were well looked after throughout our whole meal. Absolute Brilliant Lad, Thank you for looking after me and my kids.

Good place to chill with the boys.. prawns and mac n cheese were legendary!!! Reminded me of back home ohio.. service was alright took 20 minutes to get me pint.. that straight hair girl needs to stop texting and pour ha ha ha.

Staff were great. We had a sound system for speeches at times hard to hear with a mix of bar music downstairs and heavy rain on Friday. I liked the mock tails too. Parking is ok.

I had the honor of being served by David. He such a wonderful, young gentleman and has the best service I have ever had. I would even go to the extreme of saying he deserves a pay rise for his amazing efforts toward this bar. Definitely recommend to everyone to come down and check out this great bar!😁

Apparently under new manager the food was great and really enjoyed my Caesar salad and the steak and salad was cooked deliciously. Definitely coming back another day for lunch or maybe even date night with the tane

We came here for my daughters 21st last night, we had booked all the outside tables and not a function. We enjoy the food at the hangar bar, however this night we were only offered bar snacks menu. This was disappointing as a handful of guests wanted a full meal. We had brought in a cake, this was stored in the fridge when we arrived. We were not informed of how much this would be. Half way through the night, when paying for pizza's we pre ordered, we were charged a $60 cake fee! We would not have brought in a cake if this is your cake fee! We had brought in lots of business with 40-50 people so we are VERY disappointed with the return of an over the top cake fee.

Went for a function, took 3hrs to complete the meal. 45mins for the entree, then another 45mins for the main and finally 1and half hours for dessert. Said the fries and salad were for the table (6) but really they were for 2 people. My steak was mostly fat. Experience awful would never go back.

Very poor customer service. Brings one meal at a time. By the time you get all your meals, first ones are cold. Staff were indifferent and don't care. Meals were not worth the money either. Steak over cooked and tough. Kumari fries also over cooked and not even any alloi to cover fowl taste.

Mothers Day, I ended up leaving with no meal. Was half an hour later than everyone else’s, and well undercooked (pork). Thought we’d try again. Tonight same deal again except this time another member of the table was only just receiving there meal when we were ready to leave. Empty glasses, thirsty patrons, staff just chit chatting. Not at all a pleasurable dining experience when you have to go to bar constantly to refill. Poor attitudes and table service 1/10

I've been driving past here for several years, absolutely gutted I didn't try this place earlier. The bar is very clean, spacious and with a good layout. Food selection wasn't huge, but delicious. Highly recommend the wings.

GREAT MOCKTAILS! The space, atmosphere and decor is awesome here. Great staff vibe too. Had a small work gathering, I don't drink but the Bartender had 3 simple Mocktails and they were DELISH and Inexpensive just the way I like it!! I didn't eat this time around but in previous visits I have sampled their menu. I loved the Hot stone Steaks, good value for money and filling. Their Chicke and Cranberry pizzas are yummo and the Chicken wings are very tasty. Loaded Fries are not that great ...Yet...could be improved with a saucy/gooey'er type of cheese or mushroom sauce and they would be banging!

18 May 2022, evening The daily deals are good, the premises were clean, but service was slow - ordered loaded fries and had to wait circa 32 minutes. If you know there is going to be a delay, please notify the customer when they pay at the counter and not wait until they come back to inquire.

A great place to go for meals & a drink. The menu has a good selection of realistically priced options. Daily specials for a variety of things Big Screen & monitors for watching Sport. Friendly helpful serving staff so well worth a visit.

Even in red light the hanger offers a relaxed atmosphere to eat...great service and excellent food...try Mondays where the stone grill is half price.
