Went to a Christmas Fair & Corols on the Steps at the Tabernacle - big diversity of eats available and some games for the kids. The clown that was there kept everyone busy with his antics and lots of laughter. Great reach out to the local community and the food that was being sold was very reasonable priced, great quality and very tasteful. Even Santa made an appearance at the Fair and handed out lollies to the young and old. Looking forward to the next fair to be held there.

The Auckland Baptist Tabernacle is a heritage-listed church located near the corner of Queen Street & Karangahape Road at tge edge of the Auckland Business District in Auckland, New Zealand. It was built Easter Monday 1884, was completed 12 May 1885 at a cost of £14,000 and is one of the oldest buildings in Auckland city. Thomas Spurgeon was the pastor of the church The prominent site at the top of Queen Street was secured at it was Initially intended that the Church would face Karangahape Road but the plans were revised so it was actually constructed with the main façade on Queen Street. This meant the portico was visible from the harbour. Although one of the biggest buildings to be constructed in the city at the time, it took only one year to build from 1884-85. As well as having very good acoustics its auditorium was also the largest room in the city, able to accommodate over 1500 people at the time.

Their altha class has heaps of people registered on time but turned away, the head leader of church failed to give any solution, we are about to send their church to the court and charge them breach human rights act 1993 by unlawful discrimination via provision of goods and services, see you in the court mate, you absolutely deserved it

What a truly wonderful event! It goes without saying that both the pianist and cellist were very talented. What might have been especially noteworthy is how passionate both artists were in the music they were playing. The venue is perfect, both in terms of ambiance and acoustics. If you have a chance to see this show, do so!!

I attended the Global Church when I was visiting Auckland in July. I met Paster Mike and Lin, and enjoyed sharing the time we're going together to Shanghai.

You can go to the side door and go upstairs to join the Global (international) worship service. Many people from many different countries join the Sunday morning worship. Highly recommended!
