Bought a watch that constantly stops/starts and never tells the right time, sent in for repair to be told a month later they cant repair it, request a replacement and after waiting another month they tell me they dont make that watch anymore, and refused to give a refund under the consumers guarantee act... Yet I was refused and accused of breaking it myself to get a refund, stating that people buy jewelry all the time with the intention of impressing people and returning it the next day.

I went to the Ormiston store and customer service was good! Muni looked after me with prompt emails and calls. I actually had an issue with Seiko watch which I bought from them - and Seiko NZ mentioned it could take up to 12 weeks to fix the watch. This was unacceptable on a new watch and Muni took care of this by replacing it with a new unit for me. Watches are sticky pieces and there will be always some variations and QC issues - I would be very comfortable purchasing from Christies & Muni again. A+++
