We found 76Design when needing to get our wedding and engagement rings remade 10 years ago after they were stolen. Shaun and Angela made the upsetting experience so much easier, they were so empathetic, friendly, down to earth and instantly made us feel comfortable and confident that we had found the right place. Shaun's knowledge, ability to just "get" what we wanted and guidance was second to none! We have since gone to them over the years for many other pieces. The creativity and passion he pours into his work is seen in every piece. And Angela's wonderful bubbly personality makes you feel so special as soon as you walk through the door or she answers the phone, that combined with her creativity and design background mean that she understands what you're after and, like Shaun, "gets it". I've recommended so many people to them, and will continue to do so, because they are the best!! If we had the money I'd be buying everything and getting them to design so many more magnificent pieces!

My friend recommended using the team at SeventySix design to help fix my wedding necklace (a repair that other jewellers had immediately written off). I couldn't be any happier with the service I received from Shaun. He talked me through the repair and took such care with an important piece. I wanted a pretty out there design and made it pretty technical to construct. Ended up with a super unique ring that will never be replicated (multi metal, diamonds on the outside, engraved message on the inside that was etched) and got progress photos because as an engineer I love to see how things progress knowing that it would look unfinished until it was ready. I discovered that it was built in quarters, someone had to draw the fern on the gold, the internal engraving was etched to stand out and it's a pretty amazing ring. We also went through a few irritations to get to the design I was after and people are always amazed when I point everything out Will definitely be back for an anniversary present (also had custom diamond earrings made by combining some of my wife's jewellery - 1 carat diamond earrings with Murano earrings from Venice and then combined with platinum to make something funky that turned out amazing). My husband and I first came across 76 Design in the Air NZ magazine, when we saw their Rockabilly line of jewelry and fell in love with their style. We then made contact with Shaun & Ange and have had nothing but excellent, friendly service from them. Shaun and my then-fiance worked together to design and create my beautiful engagement ring, planning ahead to the wedding bands we'd seen in the Air NZ mag. When the time came, we then worked with Shaun to customize the wedding bands to fit the Rockabilly style but with our own special take on it. Since then, we have returned to the shop many times - either to scope out the cabinets for new shiny treats, or just for a chat while we get our rings polished up. Shaun and Ange are always welcoming and always thinking of new and creative options for their clients. They're an amazing team with awesome ideas, and never fail to create a distinctive piece which will draw attention & admiration. Shaun and Ange are amazing! Really lovely people and they've been fantastic to deal with. Shaun made our wedding rings and I am still SO in love with my rings! This place is amazing!! Shaun, Ange and Matt are awesome. From the first time I walked into the store in search of a special gift for my girlfriend, to going back in to get an engagement ring made for her, to going back to have our wedding bands made, they made the whole process easy and exciting! Shaun helped me put ideas together and gave me realistic options for prices to give us the best possible pieces within our budget. They were really patient, fantastic to deal with and totally committed to making jewelry that we wouldnt just be happy with, but would love forever and that exactly what they did.

Eight years ago we walked into 76 Design and met Shaun and Ange - it is not very often you find a pair like them, a true craftsman and an artist. Together we created an engagement ring followed by two wedding bands, the entire process was not only creative but personalised and the service was perfect. To this day they are still creating pieces for us, sometimes we just go into the shop, look in the cabinets and have a chat. Shaun will always clean and check our jewellery, it is this after care service that makes a difference and shows they are really proud of what they do.
