Large playground! Has a flying fox, train, swings, a jungle gym and more! Probably best suitable for slightly older kids. There's a small car park too.

Morning is the best time to enjoy the reserve. Easy access from parking or main entrance down the hill, find a Beautiful view to replenish your lungs with fresh air and stroll in the nearby bush while listening tuis, parrots and other birds warbling around.

The park is a large dormant volcano that has five different parking lots, three toilets. A small parking lot next to Clive Road is a toilet and a large Playground for children. Another entrance to the parking lot on Mt Eden road is right next to the picnic area and you can let your dog play on the large green lawn with bench seats around, a covered sitting area and plenty of trash cans. The park has wide pathways, you can walk or ride bicycle up to the 360-degree view of Auckland city.

A nice small-ish park but with a big playground area. Have a secluded part which have a covered stage/podium with a a few seat at its perimeter. Its car park are split into two separate areas, and one of it is right between the playground and the public toilet. This is a separate park, albeit next to the much bigger Mt Eden Domain.

No real fence to stop children goin onto the road if parents aren't watching + the flying fox no longer working. Other than that, its a good lil park

Was about to park and visit the park, but then I saw a person breaking in into a rental Campervan right next to our parked car. Unsafe area

Nice place, big shady trees enough to sit under them a big group of 20-30 people group. Playground is the best part of any open areaπŸ™‚. Kids go there n never bother parents, letting them hv their peace time😜. Pitty that I left my phone home, will post pix next time.

Set on a historical volcanoe, there are walks, impressive views, toilets, a playground, and a dog walking area. Parking is not abundant but there are several car parks. There is on street parking in the area. There is an awesome lookout at the summit of the mountain which is a moderately step walk and while relatively easy for most could be challenging for not super mobile people. there is a road to the top which is normally closed off.

Gorgeous place and I can only imagine how beautiful this is during summer time. In winter it was quiet and you had a lot of privacy.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wonderful place for the kids, with alot of safety measures taken but be ware it's not an enclosed park and it might be risky if the kids will run out to the road. But generally it's a fun place for the kids and an open space for the adults.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Awesome splash pad with a great playground as well (more than whats in the photo). Not a lot of shade but new trees have been planted for the future. There's also a skate park, a court and public toilets. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and didn't want to leave.
