The mall itself isn't that big as compared to the other malls in Auckland but still a decent one I'd say. The mall is well maintained and well presented. Toilets are clean and tidy. The food court is kinda small and has very limited options. Plenty of car parks available at any given point of time. The customer service/information desk could be an area for improvement in terms of wait time. Mall staff members are generally friendly and helpful. This mall also has a post shop which operates on Sundays. The mall could have more engagement events/activities in my opinion. Overall not a bad hangout place.

Quite a nice and large mall with a variety of shops inside. There is a large carpark area around the mall. It doesn't loop so you would need to walk along one way and back to return to your carpark. There is a series of restaurant in the outside area bu the foodcourt. The park area outside by the foodcourt was also quite nice.

Decent mall with lots of car parks. Has a great outdoor area outside the food court. They also have one of the bigger Whitcoulls, which is great.

Spent sometime here with the family. Pretty expensive place to shop and service in most places a little lacking. Good bathrooms and plenty of room. I hope it becomes more affordable for small families in the future. Good parking options.

The parking wardens are shocking! You will get a massive fine for shopping here if you are in the mall for longer than 90 minutes. We were charged $55 for 94 minutes of shopping. Don’t go here if you intend on doing any more shopping than a quick browse. Save your money and shop online… no need to give the Wilson family anymore of your money.

Plenty of shops with 2 levels and lots of parking available. Often very busy on the weekends and can do your shopping late nights on a Thursday and Friday until 9pm. Kmart is located inside and only closes at 12 every day for later evening shopping. The mall staff are friendly and the food court has a few options available. There is a fantastic outdoor Cafe and restaurant area that has a lovely view and very trendy places available with great seating indoor and out. Event cinemas are located inside with great options for luxurious date nights.

Large spacious mall, retailers here more stocked then the other Westfield malls. Check where your parking if you plan to be there more then 90mins.

This a very popular well kept shopping mall. Good selection of national brand shops. All the fast food outlets you would expect find here. An Events cinema that has a very comfortable Gold Class theatre that is certainly worth a visit.

One of the better set out malls of its type. Huge range of retail facilities included - a very few with direct entry from outside only. Large number of motor vehicle parking spaces. Each zone letter-labelled to help me find my car. Car parks seem to be designed for small cars. Full size sedans and larger vehicles experience challenges in maneuvering, parking and exiting the parking precincts. Each mall entrance seems to be well identified. Major entrances also have location maps. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly Westfield team members at info. sites too. The public toilets (I've visited) are modern, clean and well maintained.

I think it is awful that you hand out parking fines to customers and staff when you don't offer an alternative!! Why do you charge mall staff to park? Handing fines to people who are trying to work, if it wasn't for them your mall wouldn't be open. You are happy to give a $55 parking fine but not fix your payment terminals or the road in the staff car park. Disgusting.

Biggest mall north of Auckland City with all of the popular stores, cinema, two grocery stores, and a K-Mart. There's even two more shopping centres across the street for extra stores that didn't make it into the mall (like Cotton On and Rebel). Food court has a variety of selections, mall floors and bathrooms are always clean, mall staff (service desk) is delightful, and parking is easy to navigate (no crazy entrance/exits to follow, just a big lot). I love that the stores inside are actually affordable while still offering a classy selection.

Came here to do some Christmas shopping for our family living in New Zealand before flying back to the UK. They have so much to choose from. We were able to get everything we needed and more. We even bought presents for the family in the UK and had room in our suitcases to bring it all home. Would highly recommend.

We live north of Auckland and usually call in here on our visits to "the big smoke". It has most of the stores that the bigger malls have but usually without the parking hassles. Reasonable food selection. Other chain retailers are over the road in the "old" mall.

Absolutely love coming here with my family, it's one of our favourite places to come and shop until we drop. Found a new store the other day that didn't even know was there. Offers a wide variety option to meet a variety of people's needs. Good choices for food, with plenty of places to visit. Love the good selection of parent parking which has been expanded.

One of the best places for shopping

New world has great variety of food. Was blown away from choices in deli. Heaps of fruit and vegetables. Rest of mall was pleasant to walk through. Seemed to be a humming mall.

Busy but not too congested. Shopping with the wife would be much nicer if there were more places to sit. Bring back the Man Chair !!

A really nice big spacious mall, it has almost everything including the supermarket and is well laid-out for convenience and ease of parking. There are some fantastic eateries along one side with outdoor seating, in addition to the food court.

A popular mall during the weekend definitely, but the customer service staff in the food court had the situation all under control. Parking is stressful as you would expect with huge SUVs and 4 wheel drives trying to squash themselves into tiny car parks. Kmart is the most popular department store in the Mall. Week day shopping would be ideal. Having the movie theatre in the mall is ideal as well. Safe, secure surroundings.

While the main reason for going here was that it was the closest to where I was staying, I could happily browse in here for hours. K Mart, New World, a theatre, and shop after shop to visit. Places for sustenance to keep you happily shopping too haha perfect!!

It has everything we need. The only thing i really miss is Papa Rich that was situated in the back and sadlt closed down. I hope they'd return and have a spot at the food court so there'll be more food choices.

It was great to bring my daughters here to shop during the holidays. So nice and clean and beautiful staff who are patient and helpful. However I didn't like carrying my undies and shoes I bought from Kmart around as there were no bags available.

Easy disability parking. Paper Moon Cafe at end of food hall very good food and drinks with excellent service. Whitcoulls huge selection of merchandise. Loved browsing other stores too. A great mall to spend a day !!

I absolutely love visiting Westfield Albany! It's like a one-stop destination for all my needs. The variety of shops and stores is impressive, and I can always find what I'm looking for. The food court offers a good range of options, and the clean and well-maintained restrooms add to the overall convenience. The inclusion of a supermarket makes it even more convenient for grocery shopping. One of my favorite features is the playground for kids, which makes it a family-friendly place. Westfield Albany truly offers a complete shopping and leisure experience.

Albany Mall is always pleasant to go to and has a mixture of necessary shops and other facilities. Parking is easy. It is a useful place to have not too far from home.

Great selection of outlets including k-mart. As well has an excellent food court and a cinema complex. Parking was at a premium as the day was wet but not impossible even though the mall was busy. The mall also has a pleasant family atmosphere and roomy walkways.

Photos to come. Bathrooms are clean, Place can be busy at times however places are accessible and have easy to find toilets and shops. Food court is alright always busy and notice there is only a few staff that can just sort of keep up with the cleanness & hygiene of the court (keep in mind how many people come and go so do not blame them.) I have been in their shoes hense why I clean up after myself. 😊 apart from that never a problem.

The best mall on the north shore of Auckland. Has a lot to do, good place to buy things or hang out with friends. It is also near Albany bus station and Albany Mega centre (which you can shop clothes such as Cotton on etc). Highly recommended!

I recently visited Westfield Albany, and unfortunately, my shopping experience left much to be desired. As one of the largest shopping centers in the area, I had high expectations for a vibrant and enjoyable outing, but I was ultimately disappointed by several aspects of my visit. First and foremost, the layout and navigation of Westfield Albany proved to be quite confusing. The signage was inadequate and often led to frustration as I struggled to find my way around the mall. Despite my attempts to consult the mall directory, it was poorly organized and failed to provide clear directions. This lack of proper guidance made it difficult to locate specific stores or even basic amenities such as restrooms or information desks. Moreover, I found the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the shopping center to be subpar. The floors appeared dirty and in need of regular upkeep. Some areas had visible litter, and the general ambiance felt neglected. It was disheartening to see overflowing trash cans and unattended spills, which created an unappealing environment for shoppers. In terms of the shopping options available, I was disappointed by the lack of diversity in stores and brands. While there were a few well-known retailers present, the majority of shops seemed to offer generic or uninspiring merchandise. The limited variety made it challenging to find unique or niche items, leaving me with a sense of missed opportunities for exciting shopping discoveries. Another major drawback was the limited dining options within the shopping center. While there were a handful of restaurants and fast-food chains available, the overall selection felt underwhelming. The lack of variety made it difficult to find a suitable dining option that catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. Parking proved to be another hassle at Westfield Albany. Finding an available parking spot during peak hours was a time-consuming and frustrating experience. The parking structure lacked proper signage to guide visitors to vacant spaces, resulting in unnecessary circling around the lot. Additionally, the customer service experience fell short of expectations. I encountered unhelpful and disinterested staff members at various stores, which negatively impacted my overall shopping experience. The lack of attentiveness and willingness to assist customers created an atmosphere that felt indifferent and uninviting. In conclusion, my visit to Westfield Albany was marred by a series of disappointments. The confusing layout, lack of cleanliness, limited store variety, inadequate dining options, parking issues, and lackluster customer service all contributed to an unsatisfactory shopping experience. If you're seeking an enjoyable and seamless shopping trip, I would recommend exploring other shopping centers in the area that offer a more vibrant and customer-focused environment.

This is a particularly large shopping mall with a wide and diverse variety of retailers, supported by a large open air ground level carpark. The premises appeared to be clean and tidy throughout and very popular with customers. I was there half an hour after opening time, yet there was already an abundance of people "shopping"... A pleasant experience 👍

Second favourite mall in Auckland but it's always good to go to for a mooch and something to eat. Only bug bear are the crazy drivers near the New World end. That and the fact that the new surge in huge utes which DO NOT fit in parking spaces there, means it can be a fun time trying to park. However, all other entrances are great. Good range of shops and eateries. Quite often pop to movies there too.

I really enjoy walking around this mall. It's modern, clean, sufficient, well-located toilets, good security and well laid out over one and a half levels. It has almost every shop you might want from banks to food court, clothing, jewellers, cafes etc. There's even a nice children's play area downstairs (via the escalator or lift).

Clean and well laid out mall. Nice food court with the Vietnamese outlet being especially good. A nice trip marred by a $55 parking fine (Wilsons) in the P90 area. For out of town visitors there is no warning sign to say fines will be imposed parking. Unclear what P90 meant. Better signage would be appreciated

A big place with almost everything you could all for here. Shops for all your needs. Parent rooms are great. Facilities are good too. Lots of food options in the food court and good access. Plenty of parking including undercover parking. This place is pretty busy and that brings a lot of noise. It can be hard to find a table at the food court and getting around with prams can be a challenge. Sensitive adults and kids might find this overwhelming at peak times.

A great place to get food, as there are about 20 different options or more throughout site. Can be a bit loud inside at busy times for those to whom it may concern. It's a great place to go and see a movie I will say, as you can get food beforehand or afterward by just walking about 40 mitres in a straight line from the Event Cinemas entrance. There are several clothes and beauty shops in the mall, along with about 5 different tech shops. This makes it a good destination for a lot of outings, just expect a little wait on parking for busy days.

Delighted that we visited during a quiet time, so we could wander about comfortably. To be perfectly honest, malls are not my thing - usually being crowded and over-stimulating. But the location of Westfield Albany and visiting at a quieter time was great. Plenty of parking and facilities, lots to see and do.
