It was as if the guy on the till was working on getting the worlds worst service award. He was rude and dismissive to my friend then proceeded to walk away and actually just pretend we were not there. In the end I had to chase him down and tell him to come back so we can just pay for our items and leave. When he saw me coming for him he actually looked like he was going to run away for a second. I was not rude/raise my voice or threaten him in any way (although it would have been nice to) If you hate working in retail that much then get a different job. He was so awful it was like we were in a bad movie. After we left we went to the Newmarket store and the lady's that worked there sorted our issue in two minutes flat, they were friendly, happy and seemed to actually enjoy their work. For management I have the receipts from that day so if you want to reward the Lady's from your Newmarket shop you can. As far as the young man in your Commercial Bay store...no amount of training can turn something that nasty into a good retail front of house person. I would imagine that everyone that deals with him has a similar experience.

Good modern store layout. Good location and closer to water front end of CBD. Store size is on the smaller side. Good signage and easy to find what you are after. Friendly staff NO free parking nearby. Personally this is my least favourit H and M stores in Australasia, for example comparing to Sylvia Park, Sydney CBD, Parramatta, Bondi Junction, Pacific fairs in GC.

This H&M is situated at the best location in Auckland, very much central to the heart of Auckland city, Britomart. The store itself is huge and catchy from outside. The number of staff inside this store is in large numbers and are at every levels to help out the customers. We had a great shopping experience and finding sizes and colors was not an issue. Everything was kept in order. And the price as always was great. Recommend shopping her better than in Sylvia Park. GF and First floor is ladies, second floor is kids and home, base level is for mens. And there are heaps for fitting rooms, you will definitely miss your way out of the fitting room as it's mirrors everywhere.

Our luggage did not arrive in Auckland, New Zealand when our flight landed there. Luckily there was this H&M store very close to the hotel we were staying at. We were able to find some good quality of 2 days worth of clothing there. Definitely it's a great place to shop for both men and women. Unfortunately, my husband's pants are 30 in length. They didn't have any of his length, and therefore we had to buy them at a specialty jeans/ pant shop, which ended up being extremely expensive. I really recommend H&M to keep jeans or pants for men whose length is 30 inches, just not 32 inches and beyond in length.

Finally a clothes shop in NZ that has variety and choice of good quality merchandise, and is affordable. That is H&M! This brand is a stalwart of the European and UK clothes markets, they have excellent quality mens and womenswear and fantastic quality children's clothes, compared to the current offerings in NZ. Want great fitting and quality jeans? They have that too. This flagship store is big, it has 4 levels that offer everything from tshirts to hats, jeans to jumpers. The staff are friendly and helpful. Top tip: it is worth a rummage through the sale items, there are always great bargains to be had. Located conveniently right next to Britomart, so no need for a car, maybe just some extra arms to carry all the bags!

In the heart of Auckland's Commercial bay, next to the famous food court. A clean, well sorted store with reasonable prices. While other clothing companies are struggling, H&M seems to permanently reinvent their brand with eco friendly, recycled and sustainable product lines. Great fashion for affordable price

Disappointed. Went with my 12-year-old son ready to buy a lot cause he needed a bit of everything. Went to the top floor where the signs indicated "kids 10-14+" and guess what? Sizes hardly reached 10, stock for small sizes was low and not much to choose from. But hey, you have two stories for women and teenage girls! boys do want to dress nicely too, if you think they are not profit it's because you are not offering them anything to them

Loved the variety of toddler clothes in store and also their accessories and shoes. The store was also clean and well maintained, which made looking through items easy. Overall, we will be back as the quality of the clothes never disappoints 🫰🏽

Interesting clothing for slim people that wear small shoes . Really nice. For us tall ladies over 5 foot 8. I found nothing for me to wear . However the young ones there loved it .

To the tall, long-brown hair, uniqlo model esque , wearing Japanese(?) fashion cloth guy at the men section-thank you. He helped me pick my suit for my job interview and really saved me there. I returned to the store this morning, but unfortunately it wasn't his shift, I have left a small gift. If anyone at the store know him plz let him know :) Also, thanks to the ladie at the counter too. Best customer service!

Staff at menswear (LG) very unhelpful, avoid eye contact, asked for help for sizing - refused and got blank almost horrified look for asking, no till on the entire basement floor open “all tills closed” the sign said…, witnessed another shopper leaving frustrated. I asked to speak to the manager to give them some costumer feedback and was told he was ‘in the office’. Perhaps that’s the prob? As far as the menswear floor is concerned, shop elsewhere.

Sold us shoes that caused injury to both my wife and daughter, one outing in these shoes would eat up your heel skin and cause injury that takes days to heal, then the manager refused to return them. they were $35 so not a big loss but shows how low these people are. I ended up giving them the shoe sand walking away.

It's lovely shopping at a store which is inviting, clean, has friendly staff and great product. My favorite everyday shirts were bought at H&M and look great almost two years later. The store connects to Commercial Bay and Queen Street so make it a trip if you like. Save yourself the pain and suffering of giving your money to some arbitrary retailer... get a real bargain at H&M!

This is an interesting store. Lots of variety of styles and colours. It had plenty of light and no bangy music that does my head in and makes me want to leave asap. Good job there. There were some clothing items that had slogans in English, but not proper English. Not that I would buy anything with slogans on anyway. It's not my thing. Overall, it's a nice store.

Went to buy some brass napkin holders that were all on the same shelf. Store has different prices on identical products. This is completely misleading. Products are identical but apparently ‘different seasons’. Manager was telling me the more expensive one were improved. Incredibly bad customer service and misleading pricing on shelf in items that I wished to buy 10 of. 7 items had a price of $14.99 and 3 had a price of $24,99. Last time I will ever shop here. For a big brand they need to do much better than this.

Great range of products for pretty cheap prices. Has children's, men's, women's clothing and accessories. Not that much staff, we had to wait a while to checkout our clothes because they only had one person at the counter.

Honestly a good spread of clothes with different styles. They also last really long with proper care. Had a pair of jeans that I bought back in 2019, only formed a tear just this year, but that probably because I got bigger 😭. Would be nice if they had a store in the north shore

H&M is a great place to shop, top quality merchandise at reasonable price. Strong fabric and awesome design's.

Changing rooms just have curtains don't feel safe changing in them. As I was putting my shoes back on someone just opens the curtains to check if someone was inside. Like obviously someone is because there closed

Such a grabby store! My girlfriend almost drowned in excitement before we quickly left the store to plan up some finances! If you're happy and you know it, spend it up!

A good collection of clothes, well sized range and good facilities but no staff??? I've never seen a store with so few staff, felt bad for the people working.

Great range of products that is constantly restocking styles and sizes. While the cue is long, the staff are great and efficient. The guy also folded my clothing better than some of the women's stores I go to.

It's an H&M store. The men's department in the basement seemed small, so you're relegated to sitting and watching your other half stalk the aisles for prey on the ground floor.

Disappointed.No service, no stock. I came several times and all the same. I decided to go to their store at Newmarket and faced the same difficulties. Obviously it is a company policy. We are very far from the services and offer we can have in Europe. I have just arrived in NZ and will move to a new appartement soon. I was looking for a set of beddings, all with the same color/style and compatible: duvet, 2 pillows, duvet cover, pillow covers, sheets, matelas protection sheet. 1) There is no proposal for a basic and comprehensive set of bedding’s. 2) You had to select one item from a brand/style, another item from another brand/style 3) No duvet. There was pillows but not the ones of compatible size with the bed pillow cover. 4) There was no one to advice. I look around to find someone. No one. I needed advice as there was a risk about compatibility when I had no other choice but to buy items across diversity of brands/style.

The store is in a upmarket complex and therea enough walkway between displays. However, the products are all mixed between sale and non sale racks, so buyers beware. Ask the staff if unsure, provided you can find one! If you do, they are quite friendly. Quality to price, you need some dis ernment especially when paying for full price items. What's really disappointing is that if you buy something, the store decided to charge 20cents for a carry bag! What kind of department store do this! 😂

In the home section on Saturday, was guided around by a lovely worker in a blue hoodie. he managed to turn shopping, which is usually quite daunting for me, into a fun experience! great customer service :)

I get dragged down here by the wife, she absolutely loves it. She always seems to justify her purchases buy letting me know how much of a bargin it was and how much she saved. For me as I'm not a big shopper, it would be great if there was just someplace comfortable I could sit and wait for her to do her thing.

Be careful in the changing rooms, a friend had a male employee follow her around the store, and open her changing room curtain to stare at her. Management found this behaviour fine, and will not do anything about creeps
