Food was tasty at the Vietnamese restaurant but if the different options of dish sizes were provided on the menu, it would help me choose how much I can eat.

Great selection of asian stores and food places, there's quite a few korean, chinese and some filipino food places in Northcote. Great to go to Northcote if you feel like eating asian food.

Northcote is currently under going quite a transformation. I'm looking forward to seeing the village/shopping centre becoming a family friendly place to shop once again.

Open Plan shopping area if you like Asian cuisine this is definitely the place to go with a large variety of restaurants and grocery shops Parking is in the centre and you can reach most of the shops by walking the circumference undercover it is mostly on the flat with ramps for easy access for wheelchairs and strollers very close to the community hall and library has always been beautifully maintained when it comes to the gardens and the bus stop is right in the centre of the shops

With all the high intensity apartment areas nearby bringing in more foot and car traffic, this area seriously requires a facelift. The shop frontages are tired and the local countdown supermarket really is rundown compared to Sunnynook, Barrys Point, Milford and Mairangi Bay. I have seen Northcote Central in better days with local community feastivals and concerts. Sad to see it now, and only really go there when visiting the Awhina.

Quite a nice open pedestrian mall with plenty of food options as well as shopping options. The carparks is decently sized. The outdoor area between the carpark and library is quite nice with some grassy areas to sit by.

Great selection of shops, especially if you are looking for a variery of grocers. Highly recommend little yum for their soup dumplings! Just watch out for the traffic getting in and out as this can be a nightmare at peak times and is just not worth it.

Convenient small shopping centre ideal for grocery and small goods. Good selection of Asian restaurants, food Court and fish+ chips. Local library, Citizen's Advice Bureau, North Art Gallery, doctors, dentists and 2 pharmacies. Postal services at Paper Power newsagents.

A very ethnic shopping area, almost feels/looks/smells like you're in a different world! Lots of yummy things to eat, and ideal place to shop for hard to get ingredients for cooking!

It is a shopping center with Chinese and Asian stores mainly. However, there are many other shops. Probably anything you might need can be found in that center. Also there is a Park, a Library and a countdown branch there. There is a big car park. There are 2 ATMs there.

This shopping centre is pretty run-down and overdue for a massive refresh. It is nostalgic to visit this Mall because it was much the same 20+ years ago.

The small community has basic everything you need. Even though it's more like a Asian area but the cafe here is not bad. Of course if you like Asian food this is the place you should visit. Different kinds of Chinese restaurants, Korean restaurants, HK bbq, Vietnamese......

I go for the library, a few workshops held at the centre, the op shops and Asian stores. Good range of shops and places to sit and eat. Choice from 2 different play grounds near the public library you also got countdown too. Public toilets at both ends now with the upgrade. Its all on ground level unlike Glenfield or higbury you have stairs.
