TL;DR: A terrible quality shoe coupled with an even worse customer support experience. This one star rating is generous. Save your money and shop anywhere else, this company is not worth your time. Whilst my in-store experience has been quite ideal, I would not wish a pair of these poor quality shoes on my worst enemy. I have owned 2 pairs of Dashers, the upper mesh on both of them tore in a few months from infrequent use (maximum 2 days a week, often less). Both shoes have been damaged in the exact same manner, with signs of damage present in as little as the three month ownership mark. This shows that their product is of poor quality, and for their premium price point this is unacceptable, I am extremely dissapointed. Ironically, their customer support is even worse than their shoe quality. They have done everything within their power to avoid providing me a refund for these clearly faulty shoes. This has ranged from many excuses, a severe lack of taking responsibility, and passive aggressive email responses. Once again, extremely far from what is to be accepted (not expected) from paying top dollar for their product. Providing a one star is honestly being generous, and you should not support this company. Take your money elsewhere and get yourself both a better product and experience.

This is my first time visiting this store and found the staffs were very friendly especially David who was very patient with me. I tried 6x pairs of shoes because I could not decide which style I wanted to go with. I finally bought 2x pairs of sneakers because of him. I was very impressed with his patience and I really appreciate his fantastic, friendly and professional customer service. All Birds is very lucky to have a great team. The shoes are very comfy and light weight. I have many pairs of Nike but I think I will come back again when the seasons change. Highly recommend AAAAA++++++

That was without a doubt the most enjoyable retail experience I've had all year, so where to begin... it's interesting to see how they've used this very spacious floorspace to be empty other than seats so that the shoe models on the wall stand out in all their glory. All of the sizing racks are then colour coordinated behind the minimalist checkout counter. They have probably half of the available colours per model on the wall, and helped me find even more colour choices via their online store (using their tablet). Two different people eagerly helped me from beginning to end, not being too pushy and overall just being approachable and excited about the shoes (they're all wearing them of course). Now, the biggest frustration I have about buying shoes in NZ is that there aren't any half sizes, but I got advice from the staff that I should go a size up if my toes are at all tight, else he said ppl have blown a hol through the toe wool and he didn't want that to happen to me. I was worried about sizing still, but they assured me that I had 30 days to return worry free, even after walking around outside everyday bc they'll donate the returned ones! Lastly, they've got 3 different coloured laces to take for free to change up your style. All around amazing.

I brought these All bird shoes about 6 months ago and these have been the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I use them at the Gym and around the shops usually. However…. having recently been travelling- I found them to be super comfy for on planes and long days. I used them recently for gentle but steep tracks hiking over seas and found them to be very safe, well made, breathable and flexible. I do have a bad habit of slipping or twisting my ankles and these have made me feel much more confident while out and about on little adventures (plus they allegedly have a low carbon foot print) Super happy - I’ll prob go back and get a second pair for a trip to Europe mid 2022.

I really wanted to like all birds. Their sustainability focus is awesome and I love their branding. Their products also feel and look really nice at first. But after a few weeks or months I noticed they're all really poor quality. My wool sneakers were terrible for my ankles and got holes in them after 6 months. My briefs lasted maybe a year before being riddled with holes. My sea shirts are at 6 months and already have threads pulled and holes forming. They are also terrible for hiking - they stick to your body terribly when wet or sweaty. Waste of money unfortunately.

Like the concept Like the idea of protecting the environment The design is trendy, the shoes are light weighted and the price is affordable luxury. Although they are super low-key not appropriate social media exposure, I still want to recommend allbirds. Eventually allbirds is a New Zealand proud brand.

Lovely minimalist store. Friendly helpful staff. Nice products. Very expensive. Having said that Ive lived and died im my Allbirds since I bought them. Brilliantly light, confortable and versatile.

The inside of the heel gets covered in these MASSIVE balls/knots after only a couple uses. This means your heel is permanently blistering from all the giant knots in the fabric. Terrible design. The customer service team didn’t respond AT ALL to any of our emails - such a high price point and no support at all. They are absolutely NOT a comfortable shoe. You’re better off spending your money elsewhere.

I recently bought 3 pairs of shoes from Allbirds. I like it not only because their products are stylish and comfy but also they are environmental-friendly! Also, the staff at the store on the day i visited were nice and friendly. Nancy assisted me in trying on different shoe styles and provided valuable help in selecting the right size. I received detailed explanations about the features of shoes I selected as well as tips for proper washing methods. It was truly a delightful shopping experience!

I was in the store to exchange a pair of shoes but because of her warm, friendly and helpful service, I ended up buying another pair of shoes for myself and my husband. Great customer service, great shoes as well. They carry sizes up to US14, not ideal for people with wide feet, but if you think that the largest size can compensate for that, you have to check out this store. Well designed, beautifully laid out products. Price range from $240 to $270.

I have really enjoyed my Lady Tree Piper shoes , so comfortable and easy to keep clean. The trouble is I desperately require new inner soles and have been trying to get them for many months meaning I am unable to wear the shoe. Buy an extra inner sole when you purchase I think.

Used to be a big fan of Allbirds, but I stopped buying them after my experience with the last pair of Wool Runner Mizzles. I had to return the first pair after getting wet toes from just walking through a small piece of dew covered lawn - the return experience was easy. Then the new pair had faded so badly after 6 months, I'm now embarrassed to wear them in public. Turned out, you're only allowed to be invited to post a review on their product page, and after contacting customer service they were only able to offer a $15 discount for the next purchase :(

Got some nice "Tree Runner" shoes. They're among the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, and not too badly priced for what it is too. You can also chuck them into a washing machine. Would highly recommend!

Invested in my first pair of Allbirds just before a Christmas break trip to the US. Perfect to wear on the long flight - they then saw me through 140km of walking the Las Vegas strip; trudging through 8" of fresh snow at the Grand Canyon; numerous shopping outlets, beaches and long walks. Hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought and they've enabled me to walk further than I thought I could!

The most comfortable flats I have ever worn. Bought the second pair in different colour recently. The Tree Runners are also great shoes for everyday wear.

Love the shoes. A bit on the pensive side, but we’ll worth the money. I’m a bit disappointed in their socks however. They seem to lose some of the sock filling quite easily. To the point where all you can see is just the sock lining with your skin exposed. Other than that. Not too bad.

The staff are always lovely and helpful. But I’ve been to the shop twice once for an exchange and the other to purchase and both times they have been out of stock. Just feel a bit let down that the only shop in NZ has limited stock especially when I don’t live locally.

The shoes are awesome, I have had a few pairs now and am never disappointed. However they are available online, so if you know your size there is not much point going to the store. The day we were there they seemed a bit understaffed. The free spare shoelaces on a rack by the counter are a nice touch!

Bought these with high hopes of travelling with them. Got the wool waterproof ones for husband & I. Comfortable enough, although not great arch support, however our biggest problem was we wore them during a a wet-ish day in NYC, did not feel soaked through but feet inside felt damp/slimy & after wearing for the day they absolute stunk! Let them air and dry out fully & then wore again 24hrs later for a few hours. Unfortunately upon removal our feet and the shoes smelt feral again. I haven’t had smelly feet since I was a teenager 30 years ago. Both of us are dumping them.

BEST SHOES EVER!!! Amazing, fantastic, comfortable shoes! Great styles, great materials and great service. Laura was awesome as well! She assisted us with compassion and we really got to see the best shoes. When wearing the shoes it’s like getting a foot hug from a cloud! I couldn’t take them off! Definitely more than an A+.
