We came to this cafe after seeing its high rating on Google, and were overall very happy with the coffee and our Eggs Bene with bacon. Service was friendly and polite, and our meals were served up within 10 minutes of ordering. Addressing the few minor negatives would have taken this review from 4 to 5 stars: our meals were served on cold plates, the water was rather tepid (thankfully, it was filtered), and there was only one item on the menu marked as suitable for those avoiding gluten. We will be back, as hubby is keen to try other dishes on the interesting menu.

I stopped by Cafe Casu on a whim after dropping my mutts off at Pets In the City across the road. I was pleasantly surprised. Cute Cafe. Excellent coffee, food and service. Will be back for sure!

Cute cafe with great food, perfect for brunch. We ordered French Toast which had the prettiest presentation ever + delicious and layered. And a good ol' hot chocolate for the rainy day, peep the little adorable cat stirrer.

Update Feb22: nice to see Casu open again. ( see opening hours photo) Coffee still great. Chicken& Cranberry Sausage roll a bit dense for me but tasty still. Previous review: Great breakfast, fresh and tasty plus Altura Coffee (you can even get your face printed on your coffee!) , Freindly staff. What more could I ask? I'll be back!

Hidden gem in Glenfield!!! Very nice French Toast and King Prawn Pasta. We never knew this place exists here until we drove past. Nice and clean atmosphere!!

I was just in the area checking some op shops, found this Cafe, checked the reviews and went for a coffee and food. So good! Got an avo toast and a flat white and everything was perfect! Friendly staff too.

Finally got here. Omg the best French Toast ever, I have been to many Cafes and restaurants and this place by far has the best French Toast. Compliments to Chef Denver.

Nice and cozy place with great friendly staff. Selfie coffee was a hit with my daughter. Selfie printed cost a dollar extra and is pretty easy to get done. Parking available right outside the Cafe. Food was nice with a variety if selections.

Absolutely delicious food. Been here twice and loved it both times. The printed coffees are adorable too. The staff has been super friendly and lovely to us. Would highly recommend visiting

Thoroughly enjoyed the iced Americano and the Casu Complete this morning. Super fast service, pleasant jazz playing in the background, delicious meal with perfectly poached eggs, sweet grilled tomatoes and a lovely relish to complement the bacon and sausages. Their gluten free bread was nice and the coffee bear was a lovely surprise. I will be back

Such a gorgeous little hidden gem in wairau! The staff are lovely, the food arrived quickly, and it was delicious. Then there was the adorable iced mocha! The little outdoor area is comfortable and really nice on a sunny morning, while inside is nice and warm on these chilly days. Love it, we will be back for sure ^-^

Wow!! It's definitely a hidden gem. We didn't see any reviews or recommendations for this place it was simply driving pass the road at breakfast time.This cafe looked amazing by the way building is painted with beautiful colours and seating setup indoor and outdoor just looked beautiful which made us curious to try it out for the first time. We ordered french toast, seafood chowder and chicken chips for little one and I can confidently say everything was cooked beautifully at its best.We've been going to cafes and restaurants for many years and this cafe has the best french toast I've tried from all, seafood chowder was standard taste and chicken and Chips were also cooked perfectly. I could tell whoever is running this cafe has got great business mind as there was no gaps when it comes to presentation, customer service.Small details like cutlery was custom made in kitty style and still water glass bottles had mint and lemon in it,could see other people's dishes too that were presented beautifully,you get to eat under sunshine on bright day. So overall really impressed with this cafe ,for now place has become our go to breakfast cafe.

We only tried this place because we had some free coffee vouchers but the food was surprisingly really good. Very tasty and decent size portions. Coffee was really good too.

Very good selection of yummy salads available in the cabinet. We didn't look at the menu, ordered mixed salads. Very nice flavours, fresh and a good size. We enjoyed a chocolate mouse slice as well. Very friendly service and great coffee.

Dropped in on our way home due to good reviews and they deserve 5 stars all round. The food was divine and beautiful to look at. Service was warm, friendly and very quick. We will be back!!

This place is a little gem. The food was delicious. A simple menu done extraordinary. Definitely worth a visit. Hubby had the French toast and he can't wait to get back for more of it. Staff was very polite and friendly. Service was quick and food absolutely delicious!

I arrived well into lunchtime and they’d sold out if salads.i had the eggs ben with salmon. They do things a little differently (gratin potatoes rather than the usual muffin). Excellent cutlery and chilled jazz. Food tasty

Food looked good, but wasn't satisfying. Had the eggs Benedict. The rosti it came on was overcooked (or stale) and was, hard, chewy or dry in most places. The LARGE hot chocolate was nice but definitely not a large, maybe a small medium. The glass it came in looks like it's designed to deceive people, the outside is quite large, but the interior is about half the size.
