Fantastic coffee with beans roasted on site. Toasted gingerbread had a large hair through it, and staff response was "all good". As requested, visited on c.11am Saturday 4th June.

Usually no issues with this spot , great coffee however they do like to close earlier than their signed times , went in for a coffee at 15 mins before closing the girl apologised and said the coffee machine is off I confirmed that their closing time was in fact 4pm she said yes but I shut the coffee machine off early to clean it, there was also no cabinet food available everything was packed down and gone if this is common practice maybe your open and close hours should reflect this , upon arrival there was a customer seated in the shop. I’ve worked in the hospo industry for over 20 years and this is poor service and laziness , and from my experience it doesn’t take 15 minutes to clean a coffee machine you always leave one head open until you are officially closed. Will never return and will also be commenting all over social media.

Awesome coffee shop here. They roast their own beans and have a lovely selection of sweat treats to go with your coffee. The people are friendly here and its a nice vibe. Top coffee spot in Highbury

Really great guys, roast their own coffee blends so nice and fresh and really smooth. Tried some sweet treats, cinnamon scroll was deli sh. Also a chocolate crush slice, really really sweet and chocolate flavors. Also they sell pods for nespresso of their blend, As well as bags of coffee. The place was warm and cozy and very clean. Will return many more times.

Coffee is great but always disappointed with their baked goods :/ they look so good but always ends up being very dry. Will still come back for their coffees though

Great coffee. They have some nice cakes too including gluten friendly options. It’s a socially responsible coffee. The coffee beans are ethically sourced and organic without any comprises to the taste. They roast their own beans so a good place to pick up beans and aero press.

Coffee is great. I love that they roast their own beans in the premises. How fresh is that. Staff always friendly

Used to like this cafe a lot but the cabinet food has been a let down. Had a cinnamon scroll today with coffee and it was so dry that it was so hard to cut open and it was simply not eatable. Should have asked when it was made as I believed it must have been sitting there for days. My bad. I took it away as didn’t want to waste it. Made a mini bread butter pudding at home later with added liquid like you do with stale bread. Yes, it was that dry unfortunately. :(

This is my first time here This place is so warm and inviting. I was greeted by the lovely young lady behind the counter, with a lovely smile. The coffee she made for me was excellent and the pastry I had was amazing, in fact I had to have another coffee it was so good. I enquired about the coffee they made in house amongst other things, and the baristess was very knowledgeable and didnt mind talking while she was working. Ill definitely be back, OUTSTANDING !

Excellent coffee. Excellent service - not at all pretentious as some Auckland coffee shops are. Highly recommend.
