Came in with my sister the waiter with the cap and glasses looked at us and completely ignored us but was more than happy to be polite to the woman sitting at the table next to us. Ended up having to get my own menu. Food was average for $43. Also take down the Michael Vick Jersey (the guy was running a dog fighting ring)

Good, nice atmosphere nicer inside that I thought from outside. Burger was very good. Nice will be back. Have been back a few times burgers all good, but they pretty much only have burgers, and wings and of course beer.

Best burgers in Auckland. A hidden gem in Newton. It looks from the outside to be a sports bar that people would go for drinks, but I got the best burger ever from here. Highly recommend the BLT cheeseburger and Prawn cocktail burger. Also the chips are divine! Atmosphere was great inside with alot of seats. Easy to order QR code system. Great selection of tap beers. Very friendly staff members and attentative :) Will be back again!

Howdy… or thats what I thought I would have been greeted with at an American themed sports bar. I didn’t realise American themed meant overpriced average food, a lack of beer selection and glaringly bright lights with music that did not fit the atmosphere. The ribs were $18 for 3 individual ribs, must be Joe Biden in the kitchen cause he forgot the rest of the ribs. The cheesesteak was dry, slightly cold, and tasted like it was assembled in a tiptop bun. The small menu was made to feel even smaller by the fact that half of the beers were not even available. Food was incredibly overpriced. The only saving grace was the chicken burger which was pretty good. I would come here maybe for drinks to watch UFC on one of their many large TVs otherwise it seems the target audience is people who want to go out and stare mindlessly at sports rather than talk to the people they are with.

Aggressive brats parking and blocking the bike and pedestrians' path. Chasing and calling "Losers" at the people who have to walk around their pretty chariots... These individuals were inside Schapiro's bar as customers or something else...

Sharpiro’s know two things, how to make amazing burgers and how to put on one hell of a quiz night. Great atmosphere (super busy for a Tuesday so make sure you pre-book a table) and the food is truly something else, my fish burger was a solid 8.5/10 and the girlfriends spicy chicken burger came in a rock solid 9.5/10. Fried chicken burger is unreal. So goodni ordered 2. Well done. I do not joke about this stuff - i take it very seriously. The fact i have given this rating is nothing to snuff at. I consider myself a connoisseur of fine burgers - and this definitely meets that mark. Well done to the team behind this wonderful form of nourishment. My finest regards.

Came here on Friday to watch the Warriors game. Was quiet when we arrived but packed out pretty fast. Food was very good - some of the best burgers in Auckland and the sides were great too. Service was friendly and very fast even when the place was super busy. Good range of beers on tap and they also make a mean whiskey sour. Will definitely be back.

Amazing place! it is my first time to came to sport bar to try food!!! Tried a lot of food! Fried, Burger,fried chicken, steak,pork rib so delicious, all staffs so friendly and nice service!!!!!!!! Love it:))) will come quite often!

Love the service, staff are lovely...great beer selection.....sports bar, yes! About time we had that kinda bar....one thing thought, I need good to great wings at a sports bar, please. Buy the nibbles, fry them, m toss them in 30/70 butter/hot sauce! And no, not Ranch, which was a teaspoons worth, but blue cheese sauce!!! It's easy for any cool...I'd go places just for the wings, especially sports bar..and especially here...it's worth it....just not the wings 🤦🏻‍♂️

This place was very disappointing and missed the American theme. There was no ambiance and you had to order at the bar. The alcohol is insanely expensive for a sports bar as well. We like cheap drinks so we can watch an entire game. There was no cheap beer or wine to offer. As for the food, they were out of ribs, so they clearly never cooked them that day. With that being said, it sounds like I did not miss out on much since there were only 3 of them. The wings were all skin and no meat, (really hot oil, so almost burnt) plus the waitress could not even tell us if they were hot or mild. The salads were over dressed and the the burgers were warm, VERY salty and we all had different sized patties. One girl barely had any meat at all. I returned mine, asked for less salt and proportion the bun to the patty. It did come out better, but would not come here again. The price of the food, the quality and quantity does not make me want to come back and a lot of us had that thought. Plus I did not feel like I was even in a sports bar, minus all the TV's.

Have been in for a few big games - ABs, NBA Finals, Super Bowl. Place is always packed and its an amazing atmosphere. Cheeseburger is one of the best Ive had.

Great sports bar. Awesome food and a couple of good zero beers to choose from. The ordering system is fantastic. You don't have to wait for service even when the place is full.

American style sports bar. Heaps of sports memorabilia around to look at. Loads of booths to make it comfortable for your group. Selection of outside seating too I had the chicken burger and it was divine. My wife had the BLT burger which said was great. The burgers come with fries and they're sprinkled with paprika which really made them more tasty. We also had a side of wings, they were very tasty but was disappointed how oily they were. Just seemed like they should've been drained longer before serving. You can see in one of my photos how much extra oil was left in the serving dish. Worth a visit.

Since the place is order and pay with the qr code at the table, there’s no service. It would’ve been nice if they only bring water to your table specially on a very hot day. We had a beer and a mojito, and the mojito could definitely benefit more taste.

Every sports lovers dream! This place is like a museum of specially curated pieces of sports memorabilia. The amount of history hanging on the walls and displayed on the shelving is just insane! It was amazing to see. Oh, did I mention their BLT burger was/ is just divine! Service was great, staff super friendly and welcoming. They ensured you were always well taken care of. No lack of big screens either. Perfectly placed and configured to give you a view of multiple sports channels at all times! Highly recommend! A++ for my first visit there last Thursday. Won’t be my last

Visited this bar right after landing in Auckland. I was pretty hungry at the time, ordered the steak sandwich and some fried prawn, food came out pretty quick. The quality was decent and the atmosphere was pretty good.

Hammy, Doug, Dylan, and Angie are the best. Always super nicer when serving and willing to help us for whatever. They deserve the best praise/ bonus

My husband and I visited here yesterday to watch the American football games and for lunch. Great atmosphere, good variety of channels playing, and solid selection of beers. The spicy fried chicken sandwich was SO GOOD. This was the cleanest sports bar I have ever seen (I’m used to some interesting places back home in the USA). Highly recommend!

Came here on Saturday, was fully packed! we got the last table available. I have to say The American Cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life! The softest bun, super tasty! The wings were not the best though a little too dry for my liking maybe some smaller wings covered in sauce would be nicer. Booze is expensive although I really liked the look of the cocktail list, will have to try these next time.

You are never short of a screen to watch the game! Plasma screens plastered ong some epic memorabilia from all over the world! Cheeseburger 🍔 was a 10/10 and goes down a treat with the #09 Beer from the Tap! If you missed tickets to the game, I dear say this is the next best thing

We came to a US sports bar to watch the hockey. Even though they had Sky and ESPN they couldn’t stream the game for us. They wouldn’t allow us to cast our ESPN Live to one of their TVs either. We ate while we watched the game on our phone but the food was just OK also so we left after the first period. Really disappointing first time out.
