If you like animals, especially lizards, spiders, turtles... this is definitely worth a visit. We are from Shanghai, my son, wife and I. At first we thought it was a small zoo. But we found that it was much bigger than expected, and we walked around for more than two hours. Finding lizards among the green leaves is an interesting thing. The crocodiles in the huge greenhouse and the dry turtles on the grass slopes all made us look at them with gusto. Thank you to the host for taking good care of these lovely creatures. The view of the sea from the hillside is also beautiful.

Really great value and experience for the admission fee you pay. The park may seem small but make no mistake that their reptile and turtle exhibits is probably the best in all of NZ. You will definitely be wowed when you come here.

Excellent place to visit. Good way to spend half a day looking at native and exotic reptiles. Good sized enclosures so you can spot the lizards quickly. Also lots for tortoises and turtles to see. Beautiful grounds with a decent loop track to all of the enclosures. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to chat.

We had an amazing day out. The reptiles were so much fun to discover. The walk around the park was beautiful aswell with perfect spots to stop and have a picnic. I would highly recommend Ti Point Reptile Park to anyone who has a love for reptiles or people willing to discover them for the first time. If anyone is looking for a fun day out this is the spot for you. I know we will be back.

We had a wonderful time, the property is set on a sloping hill we wondered down through different layers discovering many cool reptiles. It was a "wheres wally" of fun, looking for a reptile and then bang they would be right in front of me just blending in. Great place for kids and families. Be sure to check out the large sun house as well with reptiles and tropical plants. I look forward to another visit!

The family loved their visit to the reptile park lots of lizards and tortoise a couple of alligators and some chickens lol The walk takes you on a loop track down then up again has steps but lots of them so good walking shoes will be helpful and a level of fitness to go with Well worth the visit to Ti Point Reptile park highly recommended

It is a very interesting tour for those who are interested in! Very informative and beautiful day. The amazing thing is you can have the tour quietly and no crowd around you.

It's not just reptiles at this park! There are also some A+ amphibians, tarantulas, and chooks (although it's unclear whether these are meant to be in the zoo). Lots to see, especially if you're a fan of tortoises. One concern I have is that the alligators and monitors don't have much space - felt a bit bad for them.

Cute small reptile park. Enjoyed seeing all the creatures and getting a couple of jump scares from the alligator! Would love to know more about the actual animals, like how did the big gators come to be in this zoo in nz? As other reviews say it is quite a steep walk that would be a challenge for some and is not stroller friendly, but it has great views! No gift shop or snacks if you are expecting those. But very cool creatures and pretty location.

We visited this park on Sunday and loved it! My 11 yo son loved it. The woman at the desk was lovely, knowledgeable and passionate. They do such a great job maintaining the park and looking after the animals. The website does not do the park justice. Go visit them!

We always visit when we’re on holiday up these ways! We love it so much and it’s perfect for curious kids. The reptiles are easy to view and they look very well taken care of. It’s especially good to visit during the hot Summer months as the reptiles are more active. But we’ve been on a cold rainy day too and we’ve still seen lots of them. The walking tracks down to the alligators are steep so wear good shoes, and carry water.

A hidden gem! Exceeded expectations, all the reptiles looked happy and were being active which was awesome to see. Loved their enclosures. Good value for money, we will be back. Only thing to add is the walk was slightly bigger and steeper than what we expected, definitely worth it though

Took 6 reptile obsessed boys here and they loved it! It’s the perfect size park, spent around 1.5 hours exploring, lots of fun spotting turtles, geckos, iguanas etc. Lovely walk around the loop track.

Great pit stop. Beautiful views over the coast. A good workout on some of the steps! Clean toilets a bonus. Animals seemed well looked after & cute. Well worth a visit. (would be good to have approx ages shown on the info signs)

Excellent private reptile park. Lots of fun for kids and adults. Many native species hard to see in the wild. Recommend to all

An amazing display of reptiles ,turtles, iguanas even alligators. Not super friendly for the infirm ,quite a lot of concrete paths, which is good. Toilets are a bit out of the way, down stairs or via a metal path. How ever still worth a look .

Maiden visit to this reptile park. What a lovely spot for a fun family activity! I would encourage you to visit if you haven't already. Kids of all ages and adults alike would enjoy this.

Good to keep kids occupied and spent 1-1.5 hours easily. Decent variety of reptiles, but most were hard to spot/hiding during day time. Also, you'll see the same species of reptile in multiple enclosures, which artificially make the park feel bigger.

We love coming here when we're up north. The kids love seeing the reptiles, especially the alligators. So nice to see the animals so well cared for

👍👍 Take a day trip out to the west coast’s Muriwai Beach and experience the huge gannet colony. There are a number of viewing platforms that allow you to get quite close to them. Try and go on a nice clear sunny day to make the most of it.
