I am writing this review to alert or perhaps to warn all shoppers of supermarkets especially shoppers of Pak n Save, Lincoln Road, Henderson. On the 15 February 2023 I was doing my usual shopping at Pak n Save, Lincoln Road, Henderson. I was almost done. My basket was full. While pushing my trolley and without any warning the basket suddenly broke off from its base frame. It happened so fast and the next moment the basket was resting on the floor beside its base frame. I saw a black patch on the left side of my pant, my thigh area. Obviously the basket fell slightly towards me but fortunately more to the right and front. If the full basket fell backwards towards me I would be injured. I inspected the trolley and I could see the buckle joint parts were completely rusted indicating the breaking off was imminent. My usual observations during my shopping time, I can see shoppers with little children or even babies sitting in the basket and also kids walking beside the trolley and holding on to the side of the basket. What are the consequences if the basket falls with the kids inside or to the right or left. The imagination is your take. Therefore, I strongly caution all shoppers to inspect the trolley before using them especially you can see the buckle joint parts are rusty. Perhaps you can take a photo to submit to the supermarket’s management to bring to their attention of the poor quality of their trolley. As for Pak n Save, Lincoln Road, Henderson, it’s time to inspect all your trolleys to ensure they are fit for the purpose. At the same time to ensure the safety of your customers and their families. I hope this review is helpful.

The click and collect here is atrocious! There is no signage to show that you now need to collect it from a glass door, they take forever and not organized, the lockers don’t work and now they are the are the only store charging a bag fee or your stuff is just put in a troller. This has happened multiple weeks in a row. Plus 5 out of 10 times, stuff is missing from your order. And the staff are super rude apart from one respectful male. Do better!

Physically shopping in this store is fine, but the Click & Collect is garbage. This is quite disappointing as it's been my local store for over a decade, but after issues with countless orders and a store policy change which means they now don't supply your order in bags, I've had enough. I am now going to Westgate store instead where the online shopping experience has been a pleasure.

The click and collect option is pretty poor. Customers now have to pack groceries themselves with no rain cover which is not a great option in the winter. I have never written negative feedback before but think this change in policy deserves it. I'm guessing management consider it is cost saving factor that in this lower socio economic area people will "suck up".

Been coming here to PNS Lincoln even before God made NZ ; ) lol. Seriously, our weekly groceries won't be possible without PAKNSAVE. Anywhere in the country its very reliable. Good service too. EDIT...nice tasting affordable coffee too🙂

This Paknsave is huge, heaps of fresh veges, produce, deli, dairy, bakery, meat, cat an dog food even food for rabbits an chooks, frozen items as well. We'll organised, plenty of room for trolleys and people. What you want you can get, the staff are awesome. Ohh you can get fresh flowers and Lotto to, and there's a loo lol. Plenty of parking and also seats for people to plonk there bums on for a rest. And you can buy $10.00 for an XL cooked chook, what a bargain. Go check it out

A pleasant experience. Very well laid out with plenty of room. Plenty of specials with most items on the shelves. Carpark is large enough for the Supermarket.

Great Store. Meat section has more of a selection than most other stores on top of its own specials where you can buy veal / thicker cut meats / etc. Seafood crew always helpful and cheerful. Friendly staff and plenty of parking underground as well as outside. Also has petrol station and EV Charging station (not free - need to register with ChargeNet to use).

It's same as all other paknsave, the prices are cheaper than their competitors and cashier personnel here are friendlier too. I recently purchased there and the cashier name: Saiyan I, well-organized my stuff in the basket after scanning. Thank you!

Catering platters are great! Great price and made the event so much easier. Ordered and payed in advance, gave them a time for pickup = sorted 😊 Highly recommend.

Very good customer service. Fish and meat departments well-stocked with an interesting choice of meats such as goat and mutton, as well as the basics. Very small selection of free-range chicken though. Vegetables fresh and attractively presented.

I only shop here if I need to do a big shopping. Great store, they have plenty of stock and multiple choices of different foods/products. Plenty of parking too.

The store is generally tidy and as good as any Pak n Save. Staff are usually friendly. Biggest issue is that the fresh produce is often not so fresh and shouldn't even be on the shelves.

Always best pricing. Highly recommended. Items priced per 100g or per unit makes for easy buying. Spend just $1 to qualify for the instore fuel discount.

♿ Huge paknsave Fresh bakery food also good fresh rolls has petrol pump for my convenience and 6cents discount fuel docket after shopping has indoor pastry ice cream kiosk you can buy coffee hot chocolate and sit down to table and chairs.. big car park.

Very good, but many shelves were empty. Still waiting for the 400gm of tinned Salmon to reappear on the shelves. Is this going to happen anytime soon? Friendly checkout operator and she packed my groceries very neatly in the trolley. Very efficient. 🙂🌻

Their chocolate donuts are delicious & well priced at $2.49 each. Made on the premises so can't find anywhere else & worth travelling (occasionally) across town for.

Consistently a good Pak n'Save. Spacious, lots of parking, cheapest petrol around, plenty of checkouts so minimal wait. I do choose to do my shopping at off-peak times and it's always great. It's further to drive to than my local, byt it's worth it.

Unpleasant experience from the express checkout lane staff. Rather rude and unhelpful. Had an obnoxious food sample lady near the chiller area as well. Stock is alright. Prices aren’t as good as other paknsave stores. Overall, terrible experience.

Love this shop. Very clean and it's easy to find what l need. They just need to have enough checkouts open during peek hour, that's the only improvement they need. One time I forgot my purse at hone, they checked all my groceries, shower me the receipt and saved my groceries. Later l returned to pay and took my groceries. Saved me time of queuing and lm picking up groceries again. Plenty of parking too.

I spend more money here instead of saving. Becoz deals are good and I ended up buying more

Very friendly and helpful staff at the click and collect. Very seldom i have an issue with my order and even then they sort it out very quickly.

Ghetto fabulous store, the meats are behind glass and the local crack head was spazzing out bung eyed up n down the isles like an octopus helping herself to a feed of the grapes without a care in the world. Clean, tidy, huge store at probably the cheapest prices out of all the supermarkets, I definitely will be back!

Parking was OK. Prices are ok too. I find NW and CD easier to navigate and find what i want though. But no doubt a P'n'S regular will have no trouble. Didnt see any baskets which would have been far better than a trolley

Had a very rude employee who smelled heavily of marijuana, and was smoking e-cigarette while serving customers. Including me! His name tag said Ryan, I hope he understands how to treat future customers as this made the end/checkout period of my time at PAK'nSAVE very unpleasant.

Looking for a few items does take a while finding them as you are in a huge area but all in all was ok. The disabled parking should be centralized in front than trying to find it.

Just love visiting and shopping here, very friendly check out operators and just across the road from the MIRIAM CORBAN retirement village where we reside! Quality fish, meat and vegetables, bakery is first class with delicious treats, deli and grocery lines are very comprehensive and fairly priced.

I just went to this facility and witnessed something truly disturbing. Asking for a piece of fish at the seafood counter, the person behind the counter grabbed a blue plastic bag, rubbed it between her fingers to open then spat in the bag..!! I politely rejected the fish, explained to her why and moved on. As I work in the food safety industry I'm concerned this behavior still goes on. This is how people get sick...!!

Good open space...found a trolley wasn't waiting...just ppl to remember to give way on the pedestrian crossing when others cross. Good range of variety. BUT was shocked to see then now sell wine ewww. 🍷 that's why we would go there hence the uniqueness.

Hi yesterday went for shopping had a very bad customer service at the checkouts, lady 'Rawen' I guess named she is not at all helpful, I was with little baby I wanted to use same trolley she bought another one, and also she was not keeping all my shopping the trolley just on the top of the scale. It seems very rude and I was telling her to keep atleast shopping in the trolley she was not replying me at all. Please look into it,and so train staff atleast if someone's come with little baby. Thanks

Their staff at the express counter are ready to yell at you in front of all other customers to decline serving you if you have even an item more instead of saying the same politely. Maybe stickman should invest in some customer service. Also I've seen this same staff go from counter to counter gossiping with others while customers are standing there making us mute spectators to their dating stories, i mean do that in your break right? While stocking we've even seen the boys literally throw boxes from down to top, mindless of the fact that this is a dangerous practice and can hurt anyone who is down below if it misses. Kudos for hiring kids and not training them on safety. The eggs shelves are so disgusting it looks like there was a riot with so many egg shells and broken eggs strewn about or as if hens just laid them there.

This place is absolutely huge with an amazing selection. The parking lot is huge so you have to trek a bit occasionally if you are there when it is super busy. I've never had to wait in line for too long even when it is super busy which is quite amazing for how busy it can get on the weekend!

horrible supervisor, 20/05/23 between 1pm - 4pm I had done my shopping and paid and had asked the checkout employee if I could go back and get something for my shopping and the checkout operator was wonderful he had put my item on hold and checked with the supervisor who came and confirmed for my items to be on hold so that I could pay at the customer service counter. The other supervisor had called the checkout operator to say that he could not do so without confirmation from her, though I was a witness to one of the other supervisor confirming my items being on hold. I’ve been here many times and I’ve seen this checkout operator with outstanding patience and kindness to the customers and even helping in busy times, the respect between the employees and supervisors is horrific and I hope to see change to this

This is a fantastic Pak'n Save and I always enjoy shopping here. It's large and clean and there's so much variety which is so easy to find. I'd highly recommend that anyone who needs to shop and wants to get everything on their list go to the PAK'nSAVE on Lincoln road. I've been using it for more than 5 years now and I'm still very satisfied!

I saw my mate Barry and we had a yarn at the Deli counter. It was great!

Have shopped here since Alderman Drive closed a few years ago to be rebuilt This store is owned by The Grosier Glenn Cottrel the Manager the Tall guy Bold Fella he's an awesome dude never have any issues returning anything actually returned 4 boxes of Rutherford and Meyer Gluten Free Crackers yesterday they were all broken not buy us the reason we don't shop at Alderman Drive is there is no Deli just heaps of fridges pree packaged the Deli at Lincoln North Pak n save is one of the best I'd say in New Zealand

They certainly need a bigger gluten free section, frequently they run out of gluten free bread.for the biggest pak n save in the country you would think they would be better supplied. Their competitor which is right across the street has a much better gf section with more products available.

20 guys stocking shelves and only 3 checkouts open. whoever runs this place is dumber than a rock. also clearly paying people to leave good reviews cus aint no way. but if u want old bread for a mean stuffing, go buy their fresh bread!
