Coffee here is really good. The cinnamon bun delicious and well done. Was just on the sweet side. Ample staff. You'd be well looked after.

Have gone in a few times for breakfast and it's turned into hours of plant shopping. Today I got asv6on my fruit trees and a new begonia. It's maybe a couple bucks more than Bunnings but worth every penny.

Excellent array of gifts, plants and advice! Also an amazing place to grab coffee or brunch with the family!

We (2) of us waited ages for mochas which were nice but only luke warm. The teaspoon had to be exchanged for a clean one as there was chunks of food on it. 45 mins after ordering our fries and vegan burgers they came out colder than the mochas. I sent them back to the kitchen as I wanted hot food. It came back after some time and the same fries were re deep fried and burgers put in oven as the buns are now overly crispy and I ended up being served my sons burger as he had pieces missing from his burger bun when he was first served it. The waitress even rolled her eyes when I said the food was cold and could she take them both back.

What happened?? My wife & I dine on a regular basis but today's offering was non describable for a simple brunch. Suggest kitchen cooks learn basic skills again!!!!! Yes I am qualified in this area...

Very disappointed in the meal I had. Potato was way over cooked on the outside(couldn't even cut with my knife) and almost raw in the centre. What's left on the plate in the photo was inedible..Coffee was the worst I've had in ages, extremely bitter. Not worth the $32 I paid. Don't think I'll be back.. staff could also serve with a smile, they all looked so unhappy

Cafe has dropped the ball. Tepid over cooked food which was disappointing for the price. Garden centre however, well priced, very knowledgeable staff. Spent a fortune!

A fantastic place to bring the family. I've been going there since 2017 for their Eggs Benedict and coffee! Special mention to their front staff who are always courteous. Chantelle in particular is fantastic and such an asset to the business. Great place to bring your dog. Kids play area could do with a bit of improvements.

Fantastic experience here, nice outdoor area and dog friendly! They have an amazing vegan menu and they know how to do it well. I recommend the creamy mushrooms with Kale pesto on sourdough - just scrumptious. Good coffee. Amazing fast efficient service, even on busy lunch rush hour. Will be taking more friends there

Purchased a number of fruit trees, and fruit bushes. Also bought a few bags of garden compound. The guy that served me, gave me advice and also took the time to get a couple of sheets of brown paper as a boot lining. Awesome customer service, I'll be returning no worries.

This place really needs to see some love. The kids area is a dank hole with a bunch of toys biffed in and my coffee was so bad I just left it. The staff are lovely though and the food is good, but you guys deserve better. They need some money and love put into the place. If it improves I'll redo my review but it's in a sad state at the moment

Love buying our flowers and plants from here. Most staff are friendly and helpful and the cafe has nice food. Great to see regular lovely products in the shop/gift area too.

A large variety of healthy plants and exotic suprises. Best cafe around. Gift shop is a bit overpriced but still lovely. Never fails to please

I LOVE Kings😁. There is a great range of plants to choose from, we'll set out, making browsing very easy..and tempting! I love this little grass plant I picked up last week, looks like a mini ponytail palm😃 the other is another native that also looks great in a pot. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff on hand...and a real bonus...a great cafe with a fab menu and cabinet choices as well. Indoor/outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you are not keen on feathered friends joining you on the table, choose the inside seating. Bathroom facility also handy! If you have not visited, it's a must😁

Not your go to place really. 2 stars from me. Then the birds flying about and pooping everywhere. 2nd of January 2024. Can do with a change of menu. Not a wide variety. The avocado looks like puke from a baby and the presentation wasn't great. Ther eis no welcome here. Get there find your own table and it's hard to find one espas people sit down then join the long queue of ordering food. This makes it hard for one to know which table os occupied or not . It will help to have someone helping welcome people and ushering them. Suppose of you are bit happy with this place like me, then don't visit it but sometimes if you have friends, one finds themselves in these condition and places where you wish tou would have stayed home.

Great gift store - better than other Kings stores, and wide selection of plants. While I didn't visit the cafe , there was plenty of tables available. The bathrooms were clean and well kept.

I enter this building and find myself in the verdant lushness of a myriad of the most amazing Houseplants. Wandering over to my left I am met with the dazzling and glorious colours of the multitudes of Annuals and Perennials, so artfully displayed. Further on I can roam endlessly amongst the shrubs, trees and roses. I came here initially to purchase one thing. But now I am bedazzled. So I summon the aid of one of the staff. This man called Dave was so helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable. He also patiently talked to me and answered all my questions. So to make a long story short, lol, I wholeheartedly praise and recommend Kings Plant Barn for all your plant and gardening needs. And there is a delightful cafe for your sustenance well

Good selection of plants and products with friendly, knowledgeable staff. However expensive like all Kings Plant Barns. For example wool bags $10.95 each at Mitre 10, and $15.95 at Kings.

Food here was nice and we'd definitely come back. The service is AMAZINGLY fast. On a busy Friday during lunch rush, our drinks were all out within 5 minutes and ALL our food had arrived within 10minutes of ordering. The only let down was that my Grandpa had ordered a date scone which got heated in microwave when we ordered. It still hadn't come out when our drinks had arrived so i checked on it and was told it was coming but 20min later it still hadn't arrived. I went to the counter again and they said they would check but didn't get it until the meal was finished and we were leaving. Because it had been heated a long time beforehand, it was a bit stale and hard when we got it. Pictured is the corn chowder, the kumara croquettes, tomato omelette and the mushrooms. All delicious. Generous serving of avocado with the kumara croquettes.

I attended a private function on Monday this week that was catered by the Management and staff of Kings Plant Barn Henderson. The food was absolutely delicious everyone in the venue commented on how beautiful the food was. Well done 👍 done

Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants and trees, big range of seeds, garden equipment and decorations, pest control, etc! The cafe has really good food and coffee and a pretty good plant based menu!!

Nice and tidy place. A lot of different flowers and plants. The plants are very well taken care of. Going there as an adult its like for kids to go to a zoo.

We love to come to eat at King's Plant Barn Cafe, then wander around and look at the plants. This visit we bought some potted colour and a carnation plant, they're all doing well in the garden!

Fantastic customer service from this plant barn, and all the staff have extensive plant knowledge. The café food is always lovely too and we can bring our doggies which is a bonus!

We visit The Kings Plant barn Restaurant Sat & Sunday morings & holidays for our daily breakfast with coffee. Have been doing this for last to years, every weekend & single day holidays. The breakfast is always good & the staff very friendly, plus the managment. Thanks for your good service.

Always knowledgeable about the plants they sell, Kings Plant staff are also incredibly friendly and willing to help find anything - even if it means ordering it from a remote source.

The Food was nice and the staff were amazing and kind! Our breakfast was served fast , fresh and hot! They also have a great selection of food. One thing they do need are those fly repellent devices on the tables outside for all the flies. Overall a great place to have breakfast with friends and family👌

Their cafe was quite nice, clean and tidy. I have ordered Eggs benedict bacon, love the crunchiness/cripsyness of potato hash, yumm. I also like the taste and smell of their coffee. Some cafe their coffee tasted like grinded coffee beans in a cup 😬. To all plant lovers and living around West Auckland, this is one of cafe that you shouldnt miss. Heaps of cafe available around Universal drive. 👌

Good variety of plants, compost and potting mixes. Would have been nicer if the forklift guy had helped me load up my car.

Very nice food at the cafe in the store, i just with they asked before giving you a plastic glass for your ice coffee but at least the straw was waxed paper. Nice selection of plants, we left with a beautiful plant. The staff are very friendly also sms there is enough parking.

Just went to the cafe, looking for a place that had a play area to entertain the kids. It was an old container which was pretty dark and dirty but did the job. Certainly needs some love. High chairs were dirty too and needed a clean before use. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Felt a bit pricey for what was on the plate.

Good store lots of indoor plants, the outdoor plants is not fully stocked and not displayed as good as the other kings stores like in silverdale.
