Not impressed says on website they have stock we were after. So I rang to double check they put me through to trade sitting on phone for near a hour no one answered so went to Westgate bunnings to find out they had no stock, the west site had Not been updated waste of time and Petrol

Always a better deal here than the other big store. The variety is heaps more too. Dunno why I even bother to shop the other way. Same product but at Bunnings is about 10 to 20 percent cheaper. Thanks team Bunns!

I went to westgate Burning Warehouse in the gardening section for plants, tools, and fertilizer. They had good stocks with a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and approachable. Downstair had lots of parking spaces. However, they could arrange some rubbish bins in the parking area.

I recently visited Bunnings Westgate and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience there. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to assist me with my purchases. What really stood out to me, however, was the store's excellent selection of Ryobi tools and accessories. As someone who is a big fan of this brand, I've visited many Bunnings stores in the past, but I have never seen such a comprehensive range of Ryobi products available in one place. It was so refreshing to be able to browse through the entire range and find exactly what I was looking for without having to go to multiple stores. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed, and the staff were able to provide expert advice on which products would suit my needs best. I found the prices to be very reasonable, and I was particularly impressed with the quality of the products I purchased. Overall, I would highly recommend Bunnings Westgate to anyone looking for a great shopping experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the store's excellent selection of Ryobi tools and accessories makes it a must-visit destination for any DIY enthusiast. I had one bad experience here this visit. Young girl ignored me saying hello as I entered. Most staff there will greet you at entrance. Then in the trade area I needed help, but although 4 staff behind counter, no-one would even acknowledge me standing there. One was laughing and fracking jokes on phone. The other three were talking to each other and ignoring customers. I left my items there and walked out, then drove to Mitre 10. Happy to say this was a one-off. Staff here are usually very good. Maybe they had a team meeting and were given bad news.

I regret to have to give a low rating for the hiring experience I had this morning. It was an extremely unpleasant encounter. I rented a floor sander from your store for the weekend and returned it early this morning. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service I received from the lady at the hire department. I found her service attitude to be unacceptable as she quickly checked the dust bag and informed me that I needed to take the machine back home to clean it. I explained that the machine was very heavy, and I had already cleaned the surface to a reasonable standard. However, her response was rather arrogant as she insisted that my only options were to take it home to clean or forfeit my bond. Eventually, I had to involve the store manager in the situation, who suggested that I brush the corners. I was able to borrow a small paintbrush and spent only a minute to clean the dust from the corners. It seemed like a joke to me that this was all it took to meet their standards. I can't help but feel that maybe the lady did not like me because of my Asian face. Regardless, I believe that Bunnings deserves a better staff.

Went to see some outdoor plants. All the plants were looked sad. There arent any refreshments, died end vibe from atmosphere.

Asked for posts to be cut in half. We're unable to do so as posts were too thick, fair answer. Got thinner posts and asked for these to be cut in half instead, was told they do not cut to size and will only cut if they do not fit in my vehicle. Then got told they are also short staffed and couldn't cut them for me anyway... 🤦 Asked for $100 cash out. Young girl was super friendly but couldn't count $100 in cash to save herself. Some better training and service would go a long way.

Impressive and a MASSIVE new store, big in size and being new, everything are in stock. I cant remember any other stores that can offer all this massive space and stocks it carries. Event the drive through lane is wider than that of Mitre10. Excellent LOCATION, THE BEST THING IS HEAPS UNDER COVER PAKRING!!! Which nearby Mitre 10 lacks. Mitre10 also now only opens 8am on weekends which is a turn off for many customers.. The Bunnings location is so close to motorway off ramp. Check out my photos, you will love the new store. Go for a visit. Try out their cargo lifts, for effortless moving your shopping from upper level to your vehicle downstairs. Really friendly team of staff too, great trainging from the management. Keep it up.

Just returned a faulty item, asked for a refund. Girl at counter with curly hair asked if I wanted to upgrade it. I said no, her attitude changed and called another person to check the item was faulty. Other person confirmed item faulty, curls entered the refund on machine and walked away before I could swipe my card, never again acknowledging me. Her customer service skills needs work, maybe needed a hug or coffee? Everyone else was super helpful.

I LOVE BUNNINGS😁 helpful staff, easy to find stuff, especially from website that helpfully tells you what aisle to go to find your stuff! Good prices, and I always end up with something extra in my trolley. This time it was a karcher attachment and deck paint. Undercover parking is super helpful especially in West Auckland rain😅 good garden/plant section as well. Cafe not too bad for a toastie and coffee. I highly recommend Dulux Timbacryl(photos are Karaka Leaf). The finished product looks amazing, very happy with application and coverage!

Went to Bunnings Westgate on Monday to sort out a Kaboodle kitchen for our renovations and was absolutely impressed with the support I recieved from team member Krystal. She helped me without warning, she showed me my selections in store, made adjustments to complete my plan without being condecending and gave great advice without judgement on budget friendly options. Thank you Krystal for taking care of us.

This is a SUPER Bunnings. It's massive and it is stocked to the brim. What a nice experience walking in here and all the friendly staff. A++++++

Unfortunately the experience was rather negative because my online order was cancelled by Bunnings and I did not even get notified of the cancellation. To provide background, despite the item being in stock within the Auckland region (Mt Roskill at the time), it could not be shipped to Westgate. This is totally disappointing and not understandable. As a company operating nationwide, Bunnings should be able to send stock from one of their locations to another, especially within one region.

This is a very familiar and large hardware store with a familiar layout, so it is easy to find what you want to buy. The parking lot is large and indoors.

My 80yo mum went to your Westgate branch on 15th September at around 12pm. She was looking for a hose pipe fitting and had an Indian man that was helping her. He went above and beyond with his service to helping her ! He was so kind and patient and after lots of searching, he found the part she was after. Nothing was too much trouble and all done in a smiling happy manner. She never got his name but wanted to say thank you so much ! He was so helpful. Also she said that all the staff were really nice and friendly. So thank you Westgate for your amazing service assisting my elderly mum. Much appreciated !

What a total joke! Rented a plate compactor today at Bunnings Westgate. When returning it, was told the petrol tank has to be emptied although we have picked it up with petrol left in it! She refused to return my rental bond unless I’ve emptied the petrol tank and asked me to siphon the petrol out! To get my bond back, I went and bought a siphon tools from the store but because there’s so little petrol in it, it just didn’t work! The only way to do it was literally sucking the petrol out!! Honestly what a joke! How is this health and safety?! Do better bunnings!

Looking for a pond pump - found good quality one. Excellent customer service - asked at the front door where I might find the pumps and was directed straight to the aisle. No waiting at check out either.

What an awesome Bunnings to go to! Especially for plants in the garden section! Such a huge selection and so clean and organised. I enjoy the cafe as per usual and there are staff available to assist. Thank you!

Most of the store is great, most staff are great. The bear hunt event is just disappointed when people over spend one hour finding 16 hidden bear, ended up with 2 lollis. The bears were really hard to find by an adult. How about a child? What we got from social media is the reward would be a bear toy. Just felt like being tricked.

I brought a heater for winter when i got home it made a very weird and concerning sound. So ring the Westgate store and they offered to refund or replace it im very happy with there customer service. There always very cheerful and friendly. 5 stars it's has a great atmosphere.

Their 'Price matching' is a misleading marketing strategy. They don't do it even when evidence of two other companies' cheaper prices and same day pick up feedback on website (must be same day delivery).

Well, what can you say about Bunnings. It's a mecca for any home improvements.However, the quality can be an issue with some items. However, one will find most items needed for home improvements, renovations, and repairs. Many times, one can find unique items at reasonable prices, i.e., Lamps, etc. Have to give credit to Bunnings to make there exchange,returns and refunds easy, and staff are mostly friendly

It was the first time for me to visit this place. I went in the afternoon at around 4 pm. The warehouse is organized, and the staff are so helpful. It was amazing to see that almost all staff knew where the items were shelved. I went to buy 2 storage containers but ended up buying 6 storage containers,pot plants, and other household cleaning supplies. Overall experience superb. I will be returning here to check out their BBQ/Grill options.

Hands down the best Bunnings iv been to. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Always have things stocked, and large choice of items. Parking is easily accessible and it is always fairly quiet.

I nearly always find what I want here. I love how you can look up an item on your phone and then easily find the it in the shop as the isle and bay of each item are displayed on the website. There is always lots of helpful staff around to help on the shop floor. The self service checkout approach is a bit impersonal for my liking though.

The team at Westgate are lovely and really helpful. Took home this bargain that they just put up in the store and the 3m foldable tables by lifestyle. Thanks to the guys who asked if they could help lift everything onto the trolley for me.

Worst ever customer service from Kelly and Annette for $22 padlock return as it was not showing on my previous invoice. I was advices by Kelly to show my bank statement to check if I bought it from Bunnings and after shooting my bank transaction on phone which have 50 odd transaction worth thousands of dollar. Kelly still want me to confirm if I bought the padlock from the store and want to check all transaction by matching it with store entries which might take an hour.

Well I gave it 5 stars but should have been 2. Ordered some goods online and they were faulty. They took my money and when I returned them they said it would take 5 to 7 days to get a refund. Disappointed 😞.

This is really for the young gentleman that assisted me with bearers that were quite heavy. After telling them my requirements I had gone to look for other items, not realizing he needed help as he carted off one ~6m length on his own (on a trolley) for cutting. These were heavy so was happy to help. I found out they were short on the ground as a few of the staff had called in sick. Anyway he managed to get the timber cut. Already, there was a queue. The lady at the counter was not so experienced, as I did not get a docket from the young man, understandable under the circumstances, she struggled with my order including the maths. All in all I was happy all the same with this place but mainly with the gentleman that assisted me.

Staff are always super helpful and provide friendly service. The store is well maintained and stocked. The coffee shop could do with some handyman maintainance with the wobbly tables and maybe staff could ensure the tables and chairs are kept clean and tidy. Our table was sticky and there was old chocolate on the seats. Added bonus for Bunnings Westgate is they provide ample under cover parking with several ways to enter and exit the store including an elevator. I could spend days just browsing through Bunnings Westgate.

Staff here are amazing the 2 lads in the landscape area were super helpful i was after a particular paver and the 2 lads who mentioned they didn't work outside but always willing to help ga e myself and a aunty one of the best experiences we will never forget. From selection to the car was assisted by these 2 lads

Currently the biggest Bunnings in New Zealand. That should say it all... You can get almost anything for home, garden or building. Impressive options around spare parts for common handyman things. As well as all the latest new things too.

Its good for us that can walk . It's a massive place . Just my dad struggling to get around the store . He bought the goods . I think you need to have a map . So any unnecessary walking is to a minimum however the store was nice and had good products at reasonable prices .

Not impressed at all, two stores both out of stock even when I rang and they said it was in stock even saying one branch had 97 units when I got there 3 hours later it wasnt correct. More lies. Staff not helpful at all. Don't chew bubblegum in people's faces it's rude

Awesome new shop with very good under car parking. Liked the actual product layout, signage and service. Well done as made a pleasure to shop there.

I purchased some timber, a young man was very pleasant and helpful. I have found with the staff that I've spoken to regarding questions and stuff, they were all great with product knowledge.
