This is an excellent concept supermarket and a perfect fit for the Hobsonville lifestyle. So many organic selection, fresh made products like sushi, bakery, hot food, and your other everyday needs. Don't know why New World has a reputation of being expensive when it's prices are so similar to Countdown. Check this place out, you'll walk out with something tasty everyone. I've been back here for their delicious fresh sushi every time. They also have EV charging stations and plenty of parking.

Love the variety of groceries in store. Good to see prices of common items like olive oil, butter, bread etc. are closely aligned to Pak n Save. Awesome bakery selection! Watch out Countdown, you better up your game. For all the EV drivers in the area, they have 4 dedicated parking spaces. Chargenet chargers now installed.

Another supermarket in Hobsonville. It's new and looks amazing even after a year. They have a good variety of products and especially in the bakery and Deli sections. They always have fresh cakes with different icings. The only disappointment is that it's a relatively small store compared to most of the other New Worlds and some of the options and products are not available because of that.

Great new location, lots of corridor spaces to navigate. Plenty parking spaces too but spaces for reversing and manuvouring are limited - reversing out of a space can be a challenge for some. If you drive anything that is longer than a Corolla or swift, you will know what I mean. Good range of selections, tidy and clean. Whole Eye fillet of red meats are frech and great values!! Not a full size store like Albany or ones in Hamilton, but brings competition locally that's for sure. We are very disappointed about the services we received today. We also shop at Kumeu and Albany and Eastridge stores so we are making qualifying and comparative comments. Realising this is their opening week and everyone is busy... It appears that they are short of staff and most of staff are looking tired and NO SMILES..NO Smiles whatsoever, and can be a really put-off for some customers looking for good shopping experiences at a brand new site.... Soem of staff looked exhausted.. you would think even with reluctance, they will pretend to smile for at least the duration of first week.. But they decided to come across as arrogant and cold... including supervisors at the Lotto desk plus a rather tall individual crew looking like a store manager, standing there, chatting away with a group of customers whilst rest of crews were feverishly working away at the queues. Some customers were left waiting up to 4mins in between when Lotto desk was not manned as the supervisor went to override transactions at other counters (remmeber this was a Saturday afternoon where more purchases are made for Lotto) Not very appropriate. This was on the first Saturday afternoon 4pm during the opening week. We expected better services and proactive greetings from staff to make customers feel welcome. This shoud include staff doing stockings on the floor. We get better services up the road at Bunnings, Pak and Sav. No smiling services hence the 2 star rating. New world's RRPs are more expensive than Countdown and Pak and Sav, therefore the customers are entitled to expect warmer and friendlier services to say the least. First impression is everything especially when you are paying premium for same items here but you could get them for cheaper elsewhere. Disappointed after all the hypes and waiting. Unlikely to return to this particular store of New World.

A good range of products, I drive that little bit further to go there, past my local Countdown, when I want to treat myself as NW are a little pricier than Countdowns. It’s a nice change tho, good meats and good service.

New World is always a great place to shop.. Sure, their prices are a little higher than others but the choice and quality of products is second to none!

Nicely laid out with lots of selection (especially for a smaller store). The fruit & veggies looked very nice (fresh).

New to the area. Went in for a few things. Good variety but very expensive, some prices more than my local Dairy :(

The produce here is always bad and has been poor since opening. Surprising for an upcoming area and a new super market. Prices are all a bit higher than neighbouring competitor, but that’s the same as every other branch.

First time visitor. The layout was soooo confusing, it was really hard to find anything I wanted. There was a fish bar, but the fish was ALL prepacked, a VERY limited selection, and no loose "fresh" fillets. Same with the butchery bar - all prepacked. The lettuces were very limp and tired looking - I didn't buy any fruit or veg. A very fancy-looking store, but very much style over substance in my opinion

New World Hobsonville is an excellent local supermarket that provides a fantastic shopping experience. The store is always clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for customers. The staff are incredibly helpful and always willing to assist with anything you need. The store is well-stocked with a wide selection of products, so you're sure to find what you're looking for. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available, making it easy for customers to get in and out quickly. If you're in the Hobsonville area, I highly recommend checking out New World Hobsonville.

This is one of the best supermarkets I have been to in Auckland. Super clean, great aisle space and layout. Great product presentation. But above all fantastic, helpful staff. They packed my bags and put them into my trolley. Thank you!

They have the absolute best doughnuts I've had in a while, plus I love that the shelves aren’t miles high so it doesn't feel like its overfull all the time.

One of the most well-arranged supermarkets I have ever been! Plenty of park and convenient location

Very expensive on most items. But I did like their commitment to lower Waste. You can by loose cheey tomatoes, which I've never seen anywhere else, and they have an eco store refill station for liquid products which is cool. I don't know if it's a cheaper to 'refil'or not

Very nice store. Well stocked with a wide range of goods. Also has a great range of bites to eat for lunch in the deli.

Spacious layout and good selection of products. Great staff helped set us up as this is the first New World and this area of West Auckland.

Easy parking. Lovely cake and desserts section. Best fresh donuts around. Lovely service and staff. Fresh orange juice is a bit expensive but worth it. Still nice place to shop. Some shortages in bread

Staff are good and very friendly but the prices are much higher than either Countdown or PaknSave. We only go here for very specific items, not even the specials compare favourably to the others. It's not about the level of service, we find our own stuff and usually use the self checkouts.

👍👍 Such a great supermarket for people with special diets! I am vegan and there is nearly a whole corner of the shop dedicated to just gluten free and vegan items. They always have alternative to Easter and Christmas food too! They have an extraordinary bakery with copious vegan cupcakes and pastries f...
